~the next day~
Luke/Percy's POV
I looked around, confused on where I am.
I'm in a room that's definitely not my apartment.
I'm in a black room, the walls are covering in moving specks of light.
I widen my eyes as I finally recognised the room.
I've only been here once before.
And that was when I found out about the war.
"You finally remember young Perseus"
I turned sharply to see a man which is wearing a black suit with the same moving specks on them with a black shirt, pastel skin, black hair and universe eyes.
I bowed.
"It has been at lest 6 earth years, milord" I said.
"Please, stop bowing, you know how I hate formalities" he said, making me come up "So I heard from my daughter that my granddaughter might have no hope against the threat"
I nodded, looking towards the ground.
"I have failed" I whispered.
"You have not Perseus, do not put that type of pressure on yourself" he said "Look at me, child of the sea"
I looked up, confused.
"I am in no revelation with him, I am-"
"I know who you are" he said, "However the sea does not forget one of his own"
He waves his and and mist appeared.
And in the mist had my fa-Posedion kneeling on the ground, in front of my manticore horn.
"I'm so sorry I failed you my son, I should have been a better father" Poseidon whispered "The things I've done are unforgivable....I have done this upon you, your terrible fate was my own fault..."
Poseidon burst into tears, surprising me.
"He cares for you" the man said next to me "If you have not forgotten, he has the same flaw as yours, so he would feel the same way you would have"
I widen my eyes as I didn't look away of the image of my weeping birth father.
"He only acted as a distraught father would have" the man said "He knew it was you the first moment you walked back into that summer camp, he can feel from your weak ties you were still hurting. He tired to help you but made a mistake; he's only a god, and gods make mistakes if they don't think about what they are doing before they do it"
The mist disappeared, taking me out of my trance.
"However much you don't admit it, however much you hide it, you are still a child of the sea" the man said "And what has happened to you since then will not change that"
I nodded, looking at the man's universe eyes.
"Sorry lord Chaos for my foolishness" I said, bowing again.
"I told you to- AHH, forget it" Chaos said bitterly, making me almost laugh as I got back up again "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
"Let's get back to what you really wanted to tell me?" I asked.
He looked at me nervously.
"He has grown more powerful, I know you don't want to admit it but you can feel it too" Chaos stated, making me nod.
"And that's saying something?" I asked questionably.
Chaos sighed.
"There is something Nyx nor myself has been clear about" Chaos said, making anxiety rise in my chest.
He paused for a moment, the silence deadly.
"During the time we first met, do you remember what happened?" he asked.
I nodded confused.
"I met you and Nyx and we talked about...your brother" I replied.
Chaos sighed.
"There was one part you missed" Chaos said "And that is because I was forced to erase your memory"
I widen my eyes with surprise, feeling hurt.
"What?" I snapped.
"Do not feel hurt or betrayed my young friend, there is a strong and valid reason for this which includes your safety" Chaos said.
I took a deep breath and looked Chaos right in the eye.
"While I was talking to you, Nyx accidentally said my brother's name, summoning him" Chaos explained, making me gasp "He immediately recognised you and tried to harm you, luckily I sent him away before he could kill you"
He stopped, trying to read my emotions.
"Lift up your shirt" he said, making me hesitate slightly.
I sighed and followed his command, looking at the massive scar which I normally cover up with mist.
It is a sword-like scar which goes from my left bisept to my lower right stomach.
"Do you remember where you got that?" he asked.
"Well I...um I..." I froze "I actually don't know"
"That was from my brother, using his sword of End" Chaos said.
"The sword which can curse someone if they touch it?" I asked "And if they survived they would be in excruciating pain?"
Chaos nodded as I felt something enter my mind.
~I narrowed my eyes at Order, who was laughing at me, swinging his now blood tinted sword.
"Have fun dying Perseus" Order said cheerly "And if you survive my child, and I know you won't...your curse is to...."
I couldn't hear the rest of it as I felt a pain surround my whole body, like someone lit me on fire and started to stab me over various places all over my body continuously.
I screamed, falling to the ground, my eyesight going black as I collided with the ground.
"Peresus!" I heard a female voice yelled "You monster!"
I could hear a faint laugher, but it seem miles away.
I don't know what position I'm in;
I'm numb and I feel like I'm floating.
Am I dying?
I can hear a mumble of words, none of them clear.
"...hat do we do?" I hear Nyx ask "He's dy..."
"We wil...rase mem..brother's...memory...we take hi...won't remember" I kinda heard Chaos say.
"But what...does?" I heard Nyx ask more clearer.
"We...deal...happens, unfortun..."
"Is there anything you can do?" I heard clearly from Nyx.
"I...bless....the...ro"
I didn't hear the rest as I blacked out
~
"-erseus, Perseus!"
I snapped out of my thoughts, startled and terrified by the memory...flashback which happened.
"Are you o-"
"I...was struck by your bother and have a curse and I was in pain and you and Nyx were saying something and...." I rambled, making Chaos sigh "And...you blessed me.
"You will be safe in this realm, since my brother's curse relies on memories of the strike" Chaos said.
"But I just got it back" I asked, confused.
"In this realm, you are protected by me" Chaos said "Once you wake up, which I am sensing it will happen soon, you will not be protected...maybe slightly because of your blessing from me, I do not know"
We both stood in silence.
"I blacked out when your brother said what my curse was" I said, "Can you tell me so I can be prepared?"
Chaos sighed.
"The curse of mirrored harm" Chaos said "If the people close to you get hurt, physically or mentally, they will only feel slight the pain and instead you will take the pain away from them, injuring the pain, but the pain get worse varying on how close you are to them"
I widen my eyes.
"That..." I started, speechless "The only way to get out of that is to-"
"Go against your flaw completely, Nyx and I discussed this" Chaos said.
I noticed uneasiness from his proud stance, he seem more...hestiant.
"What else aren't you telling me?" I asked.
"You cannot tell my daughter about this" Chaos started "From her knowledge I have taken it away...and I do not want another heartbreak fallen upon her"
I nodded.
"It will be hard but I will do but I can try" I said, bowing.
"Luke?" I heard a voice echo.
"You are being awoken" Chaos said, turning to me "My warrior will help you, has he has ever since we met"
I looked at him really confused.
Chaos smirked slyly
"Wait what do yo-"

I snapped my eyes open and bolted up, at first confused on where I am.
"OUCH! Luke!" Mayla snapped, holding her head.
I felt the pain go slowly towards my head, leaving her confused for a second before turning back to me.
Andy, Nyx and Mayla were standing around my bed.
"What's up?" I asked.
"You were asleep! It's 3 in the afternoon!" Mayla said.
"Well I've just finished a world-"
"You never sleep though" Andy commented.
I looked at Nyx, who gasped.
"It was him again, wasn't it?" Nyx asked, "What did he say?"
"I...can't remember a lot" I lied "He said something about his brother getting stronger and we might be too late to help-"
Nyx gasped, tears filling her eyes and she falls onto her knees.
I felt her sadness on my chest, like a familiar weight which I got rid of recently.
"Nyx!" Mayla exclaimed, hugging the crying woman "Are you-"
"The war is going to start soon isn't it?" Andy demanded "And that's why Nyx is crying because of her daughter?"
I nodded, Mayla looking at me confused.
"I'll talk to them tomorrow" I said coldly, trying to walk off.
My legs felt like jelly as I collapsed under myself.
"Luke!" Andy said.
I looked at him as he helped me up.
My head was spinning and I felt tears try to form.
"I'm fine" I said, looking at him.
He narrowed his eyes.
"Mayla, take Nyx into the other room, I need to talk to Percy alone" Andy said sternly.
I looked at him with surprise as Mayla lead Nyx out of the room, and closing the door behind them.
"Now will you tell me whats going on?" Andy asked, still holding me.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Well you sleep, and you never do that...and to top it off you went from fine to pale and dripping with sweat" Andy said.
"I'm just tired from tour, it's fine" I replied.
Andy raised his eyebrow and let go of me, I immediately fell to the ground again, groggy.
I hissed in pain, as I heard Nyx's sobs grew softer.
The world is starting to spin now.
"Luke?" Andy asked "Are you-"
"I'm okay,I'M OKAY" I said, trying to get myself onto my bed but my arms were too weak to lift me up.
Is this what Nyx is feeling like?
Numb beyond repair and feel like the worlds against her?
"...man, let me help you" I heard Andy say.
He helped me onto the bed and looked me right in the eye.
"The curse has awoken hasn't it?" he asked "I told Chaos it would happen right before the war"
I looked at him wide eyed.
"You're the one Chaos said would-"
"Yes, but Nyx doesn't know so quiet down" he said, "Are you okay?"
"To be honest I'm numb and feel really light, and the world's spinning slightly" I admitted "And really confused"
"It's okay" Andy said, "Just breath, Nyx is calming down now so your pain should go away"
I noticed the world stop spinning.
"It's stopped spinning" I said.
"Good" Andy said.
"So how long since you worked for Chaos?" I asked.
"I only worked two earth years before Chaos sent me to keep an eye on you" Andy said.
"So you were born into it or?" I asked.
"Well Chaos normally gets dead people and make them into honourable warriors" Andy said "That's what happened to me"
"So you were dead?" I asked, the numbness feeling going away.
Andy hesitated and nodded.
"You actually knew me..." Andy said, making me gasp.
"Wait...were you from the titan war?" I asked.
Andy nodded.
Noticing how uncomfortable he was, I decided to drop the topic.

~FLASHBACK~
"Did you want to use Percy as your name?" Andy asked me, sitting in the meeting room with me.
"Probably not" I said "Especially with the gods but I don't want to lie"
"You could have a stage name" Luke said "A lot of singers these days do"
"Yeah..." I said.
"You don't need to think of one now, it might need time for the right name" Andy said as he s took a drink of his water.
"Luke" I said, making him burst out his water.
"Luke?" he asked, shocked.
"In honour of my friend who died to protect me and others and fought for what I'm fighting for" I explained, confused with the way he was acting.
"Luke Jackson, done!" Andy said, back to his normal self.
I swore I saw him smile slightly as he walked out the room.

"Luke?" I whispered.
