By the time Ye Hua got Su Su back onto the bed, the small trickle of blood had eased, but for several minutes beforehand, he had kept her in his arms on his lap and in tears. He knew what had happened and terrified he may have lost her because of one moment of selfishness, Ye Hua begged and prayed to every God he knew and those he didn't including the ones from his wedding day to spare her life this time while promising all manner of things if it meant she would live.
"I will return to the Nine Heavens......."
"I will undergo lightening bolt punishment.........."
"I will take her guaranteed death onto myself.........."
"I will forever damn myself to eternal torture for being so selfish......"
"I will take the seal into myself if it means........" he trailed off at the sight of her beautiful eyes opening to stare back up at him.
"Su Su?" he whispered tenderly at her while drawing her even closer to his body.
The tears were raining down his face and as he continued to berate himself for being so reckless with her life, her small hand reached up to cup his cheek. And in that split second, he knew in an instant that Su Su was back and Si Yin was gone, and he could not have been any happier to see her. An explosion of breath escaped him as her soft tired eyes held his long enough for him to see that every single one of his rash promises had just been answered while also wondering if he might have to actually pay the cost for them, which he quickly clamped his mind down on, as she moved to encircle his waist.
Now on the bed and enveloped in his arms, Su Su looked and felt better than Ye Hua did at that moment, if anything, she was wondering why he was fussing so much when she was still trembling from her orgasm which was still rippling through her.
"I'm fine Ye Hua. There's no need for such thoughts. You can see I'm fine." her soft words caressed his cheek as she moved forward to take his tears with her warm breath and soft kisses.
"I'm so sorry Su Su, I never meant to hurt you." he whispered back and though the love making was now over, her gentle touch and soft words were not helping matters, if anything, this part of her was just as beautiful and arousing as Si Yin. He truly loved every part of this woman and seeing as this was the Su Su he had initially fallen in love in with, she would always hold that permanent place in his heart, that part he would always seek out in the end, no matter who or what she was.
But the softness of her voice on his flushed cheeks, the way her lips moved feather like towards his ear and the way her hand tenderly stroked his chest to ease the thrashing of his heartbeat, were causing his body to react in the most inappropriate way, especially now, seeing as he had almost taken her life.
His hand stilled her own and in one easy fluid movement, he dragged her off him and down into the crook of his arm to get her off his arousal before he did anything even more stupid.
Once she was settled and he was convinced that she really was alright, they talked for a while while he continued to glance down at the seal to ensure it was back to normal. He knew he wouldn't sleep well that night, and until Di Jun and Ci Hang returned, he would continue to worry for her safety, because Si Yin was becoming more prominent.
"Do you remember what happened?" he asked as his hand stroked her hair.
Nodding, she remained stationary as her mind went over everything they had just done.
"Yes I remember." she blushed softly against him.
"You do?" he asked and needing to know exactly how much she remembered of Si Yin or if she was actually there the whole time.
"I was there." She replied as if she had read his mind. "But I wasn't at the same time."
"What do you mean?" he asked confused.
"I mean, Si Yin was here and I was able to feel her entirety." she replied.
"Entirety.....?
"Yes. I could sense things about her that are not like me."
"What kind of things?"
Going quiet for a moment, Su Su tried her best to convey what it was exactly that she had seen and felt as Si Yin took over.
"Well, she is more forward of course, and says things I couldn't even imagine let alone say. But there are things about her, that I'm not sure I like." she replied now blushing heavily as his head lowered to look at her.
This alone he found interesting, because he wasn't entirely ensure if this part of her had been present at all, but to learn there were things she had seen, hidden aspects to her true personality she had been able to feel was an enlightenment, because so far all he had to go on, was the gossip that surrounded the Seventeenth Disciple as well as what was kept in the archives and it was these qualities that Su Su was alluding to.
"She is very powerful and knowledgeable. But she can also be very unforgiving. There is a strong sense of justice in her that I sensed could be harmful should she ever find herself betrayed or hurt and there are parts of her that can be very cruel." she continued as he listened.
"But she is also very passionate and kind. She will never hurt anything or anyone without just cause, but she will if she feels threatened. She is also very playful, and there are parts of her that are always looking to cause mischief." she said trailing off as another part of her had her head lowering so he couldn't see the deepening blush.
"There is also a side of her that likes to dominate. She doesn't like to feel weak or made to feel weak and will absolutely fight if she feels she is being dominated." she whispered in reference to the little game they had just played.
"But there is also a side of her, I don't quite understand." Su Su said frowning.
"Just explain it how you see it Su Su." he coaxed her gently, wanting to hear everything, because he was learning far more than he could have hoped for at that moment.
"It was something I saw just before the seal began to break. She changed a little." Su Su said not understanding what it was she had seen and felt, but knowing it was important somehow, but wanting to give him something seeing as Ye Hua had was now slightly leaning up on one elbow to look at her, she delved deeply into herself to find the right words to convey what it was that was so confusing to her at that moment.
"Calm." she said after a few seconds of thought.
"Calm?" he asked frowning slightly, because of all the adjectives she could have chosen, 'calm' seemed a little strange, considering the moment she was referring to was anything but calm.
"I'm sorry Ye Hua. Maybe that's not the right word, it's just that...... I felt as if I was in control, even if I wasn't, but I felt calm enough to allow you to take whatever you wanted because I knew I was safe." she said not comprehending herself anymore than he was.
This definitely interested Ye Hua, because no one knew who Si Yin was exactly and there had been times when he wondered if Si Yin had in fact been her real name or if it was one she was given to remain hidden in a school for boys. But what also interested him, was Su Sus reference to this side of he as being of herself, as if she was talking from experience and had actually accepted these qualities as hers rather than fight it which he knew she had been doing up until then.
But having learned this much, he wondered how much more she had seen but wasn't mentioning.
"SuSu, were there any memories present. Things about your past you might have seen?" he asked curiously. "Memories of Kunlun Mountain? Your Disciple brothers, Shifu or even earlier memories from before that time?"
Thinking about it, which was something she had not thought to do, she couldn't grasp the concept of seeing memories, not when she had nothing to compare it to. With her two separate personalities, it was easier to see the differences, but to see the memories, she realized she was not actually that girl, even though she now knew she was a part of her. They still felt very separate.
Accepting the shake of her head, he understood she had no way of connecting to Si Yin in a way that would unite them enough to see memories, though he knew that time would come when Si Yin became more prominent and more fixed to Su Su, which then had him looking at her a little closer. There was definitely something about her that did seemed different though he wasn't sure what it was at that moment.
"Are you alright now Su Su?" he asked as he eyes swept over the seal which had stopped throbbing and looked to be well settled, while she herself seemed calm enough. "What happened was all my fault, and I am sorry. I just need to know you are alright."
Her eyes raised briefly to snatch a glance at his face before quickly ducking down again. She nodded her head shyly at him, and suddenly she seemed to fold in on herself and to his mind, she did not look alright at all, in fact her head was lowering the more he tried to hold her gaze.
"Su Su?" .he whispered as his finger tipped her chin back to force her face up, only the way she tried to burrow her face back into his chest, had him sitting up a little more and forcing her to sit up with him.
They were still naked, and though she had dragged the blanket up with her, he noticed her eyes on him which had his own eyes raising, because she had never openly stared at him before which she was doing.
"Its just that..." she stammered uncomfortably while looking straight at his now flaccid shaft and blushing heavily.
Looking down at himself, then back at her confused, he had no idea what she was thinking, and normally he could read her well enough.
"What....?" he asked lifting her face back up and forcing her eyes on his own having thought she might not want him touching her ever again after what he had just done to her, and by the way her eyes kept drifting downwards he was almost convinced of it.
"You tasted different. Like fire. ...... I liked it............ ." she whispered before the blanket was quickly pulled up over her head to hide her bright red face. "But I don't like being on the wall." she whispered in the smallest voice while trying her best to keep him from pulling the sheet off her head which he was now doing between his choking laughter and overwhelming love which was threatening to undo him completely.
"Su Su......." he gasped between his roaring laughter and her squeals of embarrassment..... "You kill me...... you really do....." he laughed now just wanting to hold her tightly.
And the eruption of emotion wasn't due to her rather forward confession, but overwhelming joy that his Su Su was not only back and safe, but it seemed as if she may have taken on a little of Si Yin without the risk to her seal and without even realizing it, because this was more noticeable in the way she not only poked a hand out of the sheet to push him away gently, something she had never done before, but also in the way he could feel a little mischief coming off her which immediately erupted, when the sheet was yanked down and her entire body sprung forward to throw her arms around his neck. Then burying her face into his neck she lightly ran her cheek up the side of his face.
"I want to make love again....." she whispered into his ear and forcing his laughter to the back of his throat where he almost choked on it.
The look of surprise on his face was comical and she couldn't help but laugh at it, even if it was shyly and in embarrassment, something she had been feeling a little to often lately. But for that moment, she was happy.
"No. No more tonight." He replied firmly but gently and with a smile that took all thoughts of mischief from her mind seeing as her hand was beginning to slide into his hair, the only move she always made when she was feeling amorous.
"Our son will need your attention soon, and then you rest, we have both had quite a scare." he replied with a grin he knew would be plastered on his face for the rest of the night, being the first time she had ever asked him for it while also a little warier of her. The change in her wasn't that big, but it was definitely there.
And as he leaned down to pick up the sheet, which he wrapped firmly around her body, her head lay itself gently on his shoulder where they then remained for the next half hour just relishing each others closeness, life, and the unknown which they both knew they would have to face again, and no doubt soon, now that she was drawing a little closer to bringing her two personalities together.
