"So you're my mate?" Y/N asked shyly looking at the very cute man in front of her... She was so relieved finally finding him after all of the horrid years she had spent waiting.
A growl escaped his lips as his sent surrounded her whilst she had been pulled into the raven-haired man's arms. "Omega," He whispered his face in her neck inhaling her sent.
She couldn't lie about being utterly terrified... Most Alphas were mean and fierce although as his arms made way around her it seemed as though the whole world around them stopped as gradually she began to relax into his touch...
She could feel everyone in the bars gaze as that only made her fear come back as lightly she pushed her mate away earning a growl from his lips.
Gosh, sometimes she hated being part wolf... Y/N didn't want a mate because she knew that this would happen- She knew that he would turn out like all the other men that she had ever met-
"Alpha?" She questioned looking at him in shock. "Shouldn't we-"
"Get out of here?" He asked with a smirk pulling away from her, his hand then came in contact with her hand causing sparks as he leads his mate out the door... This may be what the wolf gods want but that still couldn't keep Y/N from being nervous.
"I-I'm Y/N," She whispered her voice cracking causing a mental scold to come about.
"Don't be nervous," He whispered turning around to face her.
"Who are you?" His mate questioned in a low tone.
"I'm Sweet Pea," He whispered looking her up and down. "And boy am I lucky,"
"I-"
"Sweet Pea who's the pretty lady?" Someone asked from behind them as they turned, the raven-haired man's fist clenching.
"Tallboy leave," He growled looking at the other man for a split second.
"Boss wants you to go on another run-"
"Tell him I'm busy!" He exclaimed his eyes never leaving his mate's terrified ones as both people both jumped at his sudden change in voice as the long-haired man left without another word.
Sweet Pea knew that FP would be pissed however iin all honesty, he had finally met his mate and at that moment she was all that mattered.
Y/N flinched when suddenly his hand was placed on her shoulder causing shivers. "Don't be scared 'Mega... I could never hurt you-" His words actually seemed reassuring... Even if her mind protested everything else told her that what he was saying was the truth.
"Who was that?" She suddenly blurted wrapping arms around herself with a shiver.
"Here," He whispered wrapping his leather jacket around her.
"You never answered my question," She tried holding her force as suddenly her knees went weak as his strong scent was around her.
"You don't need to worry your pretty little head," He whispered looking down at her. "You'll find out when... When the time is right,"
Y/N sighed looking down at her shoes... "I better go then,"
"Oh no... I've waited so long for this little omega," He growled catching her by the arm. "You can't leave me so soon,"
"W-What do you want to do then?" She asked confused finally looking up at him as his face was shining in the moonlight.
"You'll see," He whispered turning around and walking away as she quickly followed.
Oh god. She thought totally freaking out. She had a curfew... This was not going to end well.
He opened up the car door, as she slid in... His scent even stronger than before causing her to suddenly gasp with delight. Stupid fate... Y/N hated this feeling- All she wanted to do was care about herself not have to care about another person as well.
"Where are we going?" She asked after a while watching as they made their way out of town... She wanted so desperately to just leave and go home and act as this had never happened. Y/N knew that if she was late home there would be punishments.
"We're almost there... Don't worry," He whispered trying to reassure her.
"I have a curfew... I can't just-"
"Were mates," He whispered taking a quick glance at her. "I finally have you after waiting for so long... I can't let you go so soon,"
"Y-You're not like other alphas are you?" She asked the question that was lingering in her mind.
"How do you view other alphas?" He questioned confused as he parked the car in the middle of nowhere.
"Uh... They're mean... Violent and possessive-"
"I'll never be mean to you... Now that I have you I can't let you leave me!" He exclaimed causing her to look down. "I'd kill for you-"
"That's exactly what I don't want," She mumbled looking down.
"Well, I can't promise anything... But I can try," He countered gaze never leaving his mate.
"Why did you bring me here Sweet Pea?" She questioned causing shivers to run down his spine at the sound of his name escaping her soft pink lips.
"It's nice to look at the stars here," He claimed getting out of the car and running to the other side and opening the door for his mate.
"Thanks," She whispered jacket still over her shoulders as they laid in the grass looking up at the beautiful sky. "This is beautiful,"
"I'm so glad I finally found you," He breathed looking at his beautiful mate in shock thinking that it was just too good to be true. "You don't know how long I've been waiting,"
She smiled as he looked down at her as she looked up at him, fingers running across her chin slowly cupping it as suddenly she was no longer afraid of the touch as shockingly she began to crave it. "Can I kiss you?" He asked leaning in closer breath fanning her face.
She nodded eagerly as suddenly an amazing sensation was tingling across her lips, as his soft ones were placed against her plump ones. Her hands entangled with his hair as she didn't know what had gotten into her but couldn't help liking it.
He was warm... And made her feel safe- Something that she needed in her life. Y/N was thankful that she went into that bar... That she had finally gotten the courage to go onto the southside against everything that she was raised in.
They were mates... And finally after being eighteen years old Y/N had finally found him- Now she didn't have to be scared anymore... Now she might actually have something to live for. Everything about him reassured that maybe he wouldn't be like the other alphas... Maybe he was the perfect man for her- And the thought of that made goosebumps form across her skin.
Yeah, Y/N had never really believed in mates... Well, that was until Sweet Pea came along. He was the person that suddenly entered her life and meant everything to her. As for the raven-haired man well when he first saw her he saw everything that he would have ever needed- But true love isn't at first sight but every sight.
His cold hands traveled up her back as before she could even stop him his hands felt one of the cuts as she couldn't help the cry in pain that left her lips... She knew that he would find out- Gosh she didn't want it to be so soon.
Sweet Pea pulled away looking at her with darkened eyes. "Did I hurt you?" He asked confused looking at her in shock.
"N-No..." She stuttered never meeting his gaze as suddenly his fingers brushed against her cheeks. "I-It's nothing-"
"Who did this to you?" He asked with a loud growl, causing her to become scared... This only seems to make him madder as a loud growl escaped his lips.
"P-Please don't hurt me," She cried jumping up and away from him.
"I would never hurt you my omega," He whispered looking at her through pained eyes. "I just want to know who hurt my mate-"
"I don't want you to kill him-"
"Him?" He roared shaking with anger she cowered away from him not able to help her fear as his eyes slowly softened. "Don't be scared of me... I just need to know!"
"N-No you don't," She mumbled backing away.
"Yes, I do... It's so that I can protect you!" He exclaimed causing her to sigh.
"It... It was my-my father-"
