No one's POV
"Dahyun."
When those words exited Momo's mouth, Sana froze. Why would it be Dahyun? How could Dahyun be her childhood best friend?
"Wait, Momo? Why do you care about a friend?" Sana asks softly so it won't sound harsh. Momo looks at Sana with worried eyes.
"S-She said that her childhood friend had helped her throughout middle school. I just wanna know who it is so I can thank them," she mumbles. Sana nods.
"Wait but if it is Dahyun, why did Tzuyu start to bully her?"
"Beats me, all I know is that she was helpful." Momo shrugged and walked back to her seat. Sana frustratedly walked back to her seat next to the pale girl. The said girl noticed Sana's anger and asked.
"I'm fine Dahyunnie, just a lot on my mind." Sana sweetly smiled at the pouting girl beside her who knows she's not fine. But, she didn't want to disturb Sana's thoughts so, she pulled out her phone and went onto Snapchat. Little did she know, a certain Japanese was watching over her shoulder. A few minutes later, Sana pulled out her Language Arts binder and started to do homework. She didn't notice that she was freezing until the homeroom teacher walked in and the door brought in a cold breeze. It was the middle of December, but it hadn't snowed. And Sana really wanted it to snow. All she was wearing was a scarf. Dahyun cleared her throat,
"Sana-chan, you look really cold. Here," She handed Sana an over-sized hoodie. At first, Sana was going to refuse to say that she could live through it but once she realized her nose was about to fall off and the administrators will take a while to turn the heat on, she accepted it. The entire homeroom period, Sana's mind was on Tzuyu and Dahyun. Why had Dahyun helped her?
Then it clicked. When Tzuyu was younger, her grandma and mom had gotten into a car accident. Tzuyu's mom had survived but deeply injured her waist and legs giving her polio. Tzuyu's mom is in a wheelchair. The doctors said it was minor so Tzuyu's mom could walk any time soon just not as well as she used to. Tzuyu's grandma had gotten killed. She skipped school for about 3 weeks before she was done grieving over her grandma. Sana remembered when Tzuyu had told her. Tzuyu's dad was always traveling to get medicine for her mom so, Tzuyu eventually moved out. Towards Tzuyu's last middle school years, she had fallen into a deep depression. That carried on until her sophomore year. She's now a senior with the rest of the girls. She had stopped telling Sana when she was having an episode more so telling Momo instead.
If Dahyun had helped her, why does Tzuyu bully her? What happened?
Sana slipped on the hoodie Dahyun gave her. It was really comfortable. She felt the warmth from it immediately and relaxed. "Thank you, Dahyunnie!" she exclaimed, grinning widely. Dahyun reciprocated the smile, her eyes turning into upside down half moons.
"Psst! Dahyun," Dahyun looked around the room at the person who called her. It was Mina.
"Yeah?"
"I have a plan for Chaeyoung. I need your help. Don't tell Sana!" she whispered. Mina sat on the left of Dahyun, Sana on the right. Mina's whisper was quieter than her normal voice, which is really quiet because Chaeyoung was right next to her.
"Okay, when will you tell me?"
"Meet me in the garden during the free period."
"Okay, but what if Sana asks?"
"I don't know, uh, make up an excuse," she says smiling. Dahyun smiles back.
Mina and Dahyun are pretty close. Their parents are really close friends. They met at some party and Mina and Dahyun clicked instantly because of their similar personalities. Both Dahyun and Mina were quiet but outgoing. They separated once Mina started dating Chaeyoung. That's when Mina met Tzuyu and she fell under Tzuyu's curse of being mean. She wasn't that mean though. Only a little name calling every now and then.

Dahyun ran as fast as she could to the garden. She thought of her excuse the entire science period. Fortunately, it worked. She saw Mina sitting on the bench on her phone. "Minaaaa, I'm here." Mina looked up and smiled making Dahyun smile.
"Dahyunnie! I really need your help on my project!" she exclaimed, hugging Dahyun. Dahyun hugged her back.
"What is it?"
"Chaeyoung really likes puppies, specifically Pomeranians. I really wanna give her one because I've been talking to a breeder about adopting one but, Chaeng told me if she was going to get a dog, she would want to move in with me first. That means moving in with someone before school ends! Oh my god, my parents will kill me!" Mina whined.
"Minari, maybe you should talk to Chae about this. Maybe your parents too. I know they love Chaeyoung." It's true, Dahyun would overhear Mina's parents talk about how lovely the girl is.
"I know. I just want school to end already!" Mina whined, even more, causing Dahyun to chuckle.
"Maybe you should put this aside for now. Wait till after finals-"
"Oh my god! I completely forgot! We have finals! I'm so dead!" Mina gasped before leaning her head on Dahyuns shoulder.
"You're gonna do fine, Mina. You always do."
"I dunno, this year a lot of things happened. This problem is one of them!"
"We should all study, you know, all eight of us."
Mina gasped, once more, "We should!"
"Well, we have one week, and free time is almost over so, shall we go?" Dahyun looks at her watch. Mina nods,
"I'll stay here for a bit. Thank you so much Dahyunnie!" Mina says, hugging Dahyun. Dahyun walks away thinking,
Operation Michaeng, in action!

"Dahyunnie!"
Dahyun looks around to see who calls her.
"Hey, Sana-chan,"
"What connection do you have today?"
"P.E."
"Ooh, lucky, I have health," Sana pouts.
"That sucks." Dahyun chuckles.
"I'll drop you off to the gym though," Sana smiles, "So, it doesn't really suck,"
Dahyun blushes at Sana's boldness. Sana takes Dahyuns hand and leads them to gym B. "Well, health is here. See you later Dahyunnie." Sana smiles at her then does something that surprises them both.
She leans in and kisses Dahyun on the cheek.
Dahyun blushes the second Sana's lips came in contact with her cheek. She looks at Sana hazily while she walks away. Not before winking at her though.
What was that all about?
Of course, someone sees this from a distance and walks up to Dahyun. He roughly grabs Dahyun's shoulder. Dahyun jumps and turns around.
"Jimin,"
"Why did she do that?" Jimin growled, gripping harder on Dahyun's shoulder making Dahyun whimper.
"J-Jimin I seriously gotta go. I-I will tell you after connections," Dahyun shrugs her way out of Jimin's grasp. She runs to gym A before he could change his mind.

After connections, Dahyun waits for Sana to come to pick her up. She blushed thinking of Sana and the previous interaction with her. She sees Sana with her charming smile walking down the hall. Sana sees the pale girl and runs to give her a big hug. Dahyun sees this but realizes that Sana is sweaty because in health they merged with the other P.E. class that Dahyun wasn't in. Dahyun dodges the hug making Sana embrace air.
"Take a shower before you hug me," Dahyun smiles cheekily.
"Aww man. I'll go take a shower since it's free period then."
Dahyun watches as Sana trudges playfully to the shower room. She sits down on the bleachers across from the room and whips out her phone. She decides to scroll in the school's news. She heard a deep voice that she knew all too well.
"Dahyunnie,"
"Taeeeee!" She jumps into her brother's arms.
"I finally got some time to see you," Taehyung smiles.
Dahyun smiles. They both got the same smile from their dad. Soft but charming.
"How's Jungkook?" Dahyun asks.
Tae blushes at the thought of his friend.
"W-We kissed."
"You did? That's amazing!" Dahyun gasps.
"You've liked him for so long!"
"I know!" The two siblings jumped in glee. What they didn't know is that there was a Japanese staring at them, a warm fuzzy feeling in her heart seeing the two interact joyfully.
'I will treat her well, Taehyung.'

The duo was walking to lunch, arms linked. They were about to pass the bathroom when Sana needed to go. She told Dahyun to wait there. Of course, Dahyun had completely forgotten about her encounter with Jimin so, with a large smile plastered on her face, she waited for Sana.
What could go wrong?
