A/N: I think I'm going to write anything important up here and do my regular notes at the end of the chapter. So with that said, I'll see you guys at the end of the chapter :)
*Juliet's pov*
"Let's go do something, maybe it'll take your mind off of things." Matt said.
I looked at the time, it was 6 o'clock.
"I think there's a free concert tonight at Central Park. Do you want to go?" I asked.
"Yeah! Let's take everyone." Matt smiled as he dialed a number.
"Who are you calling?" I asked.
"Cameron." Matt said as he talked to him.
"So he's coming over later. Do you want to call anybody?" Matt asked.
"Yeah but seriously Matt, call more people than Cam." I laughed as I dialed Michelle's number.
"Hey girl." She answered.
"Hey! There's a free concert tonight. Do you want to go?" I asked.
"Yeah! I'm coming over now, I'm going to pick up Lesley too." She said as she hung up.
Matt and I hung up our conversation at the same time.
"Who'd you call?" We said in unison.
"You first." I laughed.
"I called Shawn."
"I called Michelle."
Soon, after a few phone calls, we got all of our friends to be over my apartment.
Everyone was either sitting on the couch or floor. They were eating food, playing video games, or just talking.
"Did you call Hayes?" Matt asked me.
"Was I suppose to? I can't even look at him without bursting into tears." I said.
"Just invite him. Nash is coming soon." Matt said.
I went to the kitchen and called Hayes.
"Hey babe." He answered.
"Hey-y." I coughed.
I can't do this, but I guess I have to pull through this.
"I was wondering if you could come over because we're all going to go to a free concert." I said.
"I'd love to. I'll be over with Nash in a little bit." Hayes said as he hung up.
I sat on my counter and sighed.
Cam came into the kitchen.
"Hey Juliet? What's wrong?" Cam joined me on the counter.
"Nothing. It's fine." I put on a fake smile.
"Tell me." He said.
I put my head on his shoulder and told him.
I told him everything, about someone texting me and threatening to hurt Hayes unless I get away from him.
"Sounds like Melanie's back." Cam laughed.
"I have to break up with him, Cam." I cried.
He wiped some of my tears away.
"I'm sorry. You know we support you guys. If Melanie gets in the way I will do anything in my power to get her to leave." Cam said.
"Thank you. You're the only person that understands." I hugged him.
Someone knocked on the door of my apartment.
"I got it!" I heard Carter yell.
I got off the counter and walked over to the door.
I hugged Nash and I looked at Hayes.
"Hey babe, I haven't seen you in forever!" He said sarcastically as he hugged me.
I hugged him back, because I had no idea when I was going to see him again.
We pulled apart and I walked over to Cam.
He patted me on the back.
"You'll be strong." He whispered.
"When does the concert start?" Taylor asked.
"It starts at 7." I said.
"Who's even performing?"
"Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande-"
All the guys cheered.
"Um...Rihanna, and The Vamps." I said.
Lesley and Michelle fangirled.
I fixed my flower crown and patted my dress down.
"Let's go?" I asked and everyone nodded.
We walked to Central Park as one big group.
I was avoiding Hayes, because of the unknown number.
Matt looked back at me and I smiled.
"Juliet, is everything okay?" Lesley asked.
"Y-yeah." I said nervously.
"I know you're not." Michelle said.
So I showed her the messages and told her everything.
"Juliet..." Lesley hugged me.
"I have to break up with him." I sighed.
"Are you going to be okay?" Michelle asked.
"I guess I will be. But I'm still going to see him. As much as I don't want him to get hurt, I can't stay mad at him." I said as we entered the Park.
It was crowded.
Michelle, Lesley, and I pushed our way to get a good view.
We were cheering our heads off for Ed Sheeran. He had such good music.
People were dancing around me as Ariana Grande came on, I looked around for the guys, and they were jumping up and down.
Then someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around and I was smiling ear to ear.
Hayes grabbed my waist and danced.
He was jumping up and down and grabbed my hands to make me jump with him.
Ariana's song, Problem, ended and everyone was clapping.
Hayes hugged me.
"You're such an awful dancer." I laughed.
"I try." He laughed and kissed my cheek.
It was Rihanna's turn, and Hayes continued to dance with me.
He was dancing like a spastic monkey, which made me laugh.
"My dancing isn't that bad!" He yelled over the music.
"Of course it isn't!" I said sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes, and continued dancing.
I laughed and kissed him softly on the lips.
Rihanna sang one more song, which was called "Right Now." It was fast and upbeat.
I jumped up and down and Hayes picked me up and put me on his shoulders.
The view was so much better.
After the song ended, Hayes put me down and we danced for real, not jumping up and down.
The Vamps were going on soon.
"Hey, I'm going to go back to the guys. If we get lost we're going to Matt's apartment." Hayes said and I nodded.
I kissed him on the cheek.
"Be careful." I whispered.
"I will be." He said as he left.
But he had no idea.
I went over to Lesley and Michelle.
"He'll be okay." Michelle patted me on the back.
"Hopefully." I said.
Bradley grabbed his guitar and he seemed to notice me because he winked at me.
My jaw dropped.
"Did he just..." Lesley stared at me.
"Yup." I said, basically speechless.
"Hello New York!" Bradley said in his cute British accent.
"There are a lot of cute girls here." James said.
"Very cute." He said, looking at me, and winked again.
I was about to faint.
"I might die, guys." I said.
They first sang Wild Heart, then their new song Somebody to You, and then they sang Can We Dance.
"Goodnight Central Park!" Tristan waved and they all left.
The concert was over, which means the time has come for the worst part ever.
When everyone is leaving.
First, it was all talking, maybe a few fans screaming, "Encore!"
Until I heard gunshots.
That was when chaos erupted.
Everyone was pushing to the exit, and my head was spinning.
"Juliet!" I heard somebody say, as the person grabbed my arm and ran.
Two people grabbed my arms and was running with the crowd.
I was breathing heavily, crying my eyes out.
What if that gunshot was for Hayes?
I was running with the crowd, until the two people guiding me went into a building.
It was my apartment.
We ran up the stairs instead of the elevator, and someone popped me down on the couch.
I focused on the two faces staring at me.
Lesley and Michelle.
"Is everyone okay?!" I freaked.
"We..um....we don't know..." Michelle said.
"You don't know.." I repeated.
Then I looked on my phone.
There was a text.
Unknown: I warned you, bitch.
