It stays like that for a while. Just me dad and steve. Summer is coming to an end and I'm going into fifth grade! Dad wants me to skip a grade since I'm so smart but I dont know If I want to.
For the last day of summer dad wants to have a beach day. I ask if I can bring abbey and dad says yes.
I send a suit to pick her up early in the morning. She finally gets here!
"Abbey!" I yell hugging her
"Woah you were right this house is big" she laughs looking at the Malibu mansion
"How was the flight" I smile
"Extremely fast" she laughs
"Y/n is this your friend?" Steve asks and abbey raises her eyebrows and looks at me
"Uh yeah pops this is abbey" I smile and he puts out his hand
"Well any friend of y/n is a friend of mine" steve nods his head and walks away
"Wow that's your other dad" abbey says almost drooling over him
"Oh stop it. He's like a hundred years old" I laugh
"Abbey!" Dad yells opening the door
"Hello mister stark" she smiles
"How many times have I told you to call me dad or tony?" Dad shakes his head and abbey shrugs
"Get Ready to go girls" dad pets my head
"Come on" I smile to abbey and we run upstairs to my room
"This is so different from New York" she exclaims
We pack up and hop in the convertible.
"You got the food right babe" steve asks dad
"Yes stevie just get in" dad says honking the horn
"Okay gosh" steve laughs
We drive down the palm tree lined road watching cars pass by.
We stop at the beach and take all the bags and towels with us.
We find a more secluded spot and lay our things down.
"It's such a nice day" pops smiles grabbing his sketch book
"What are ya gonna draw pops?" I ask
"Probably the ocean, the sand, the cliffs, the rocks, or tony" Steve shrugs
"Paint me like one of your French girls" dad mutters which none of us understand
"I don't get that reference" steve and I say at the same time
"Never mind" dad rolls his eyes
We have fun at the beach for a while but after a couple hours it gets kinda boring.
"Well hey! Let's invite some people over and have a pool party." Dad says sipping on a scotch
"Sorry to say it. Just got an email from abbeys parents she's gotta go home" dad frowns
"At least you got to spend most of the day with us!" I smile and we ride home
At home abbey leaves and dad sends out an invite to all the avengers. Looks like we are hosting a party!
One by one the avengers start showing up.
"Come on I couldn't miss a party with you knuckle heads" I hear aunt nat say
"Nat!" I yell and run towards her to give her a hug.
"Y/n! My favorite!" She laughs
"Guess who I found on my way here" she rolls her eyes and points behind her
"Are we early" I hear Bruce ask
"Dr banner!?" I smile as he takes off his glasses
"Woah is it just me or did she get taller?" He looks me up and down
"Did I!?" I gasp
"He's definitely messing with you" dad laughs coming over to hug Bruce and nat
"Where's the old man?" Nat asks with a mischievous smile which makes me wonder if they know about dad and pops
"Eh He'll be around. I tried to get him to wear a cute outfit who knows if he will" dad shrugs
They walk into the lounge room and we sit.
"Dad do they know about you and pops?" I whisper
"Yes hunny they do" he whispers back
"There he is!" Nat cheers
"The star spangled banner himself!" Dad smiles
"Pops wowza look at you" I gasp at how dashing steve looks in his dark blue suit in contrast to dads red one.
"This is surprisingly comfy" he laughs and I hug him
"Hun you look stunning" dad says standing next to us
"Look at you guys.. perfect family" Nat says almost with tears in her eyes
*ding dongggg*
"Is that Robin Hood?" Dad smirks and we walk to the door
"Hey hey! Am I late?" Clint asks looking confused
"Right On time barton" pops shakes his hand
"Clint! How's the girlfriend?" Dad laughs as Clint rolls his eyes
"How's the boyfriend" Clint barks back
"By the way when's the wedding" Nat winks
"Very funny Nat" pops shakes his head
"Where's Thor?" I ask
"Well sweetie Thor is worlds away. We don't really know how to talk to him" dad shrugs
"Awe okay" I frown
"Yeah tony stark biggest brain in the states and that's the one thing he can't figure out" Nat smirks
"You're gonna get pushed in the pool later for that one" dad rolls his eyes
After a while of hanging out and playing games we get ready to go in the pool.
"Come on Pops hurry up!!"I yell to steve who has been in the bathroom for everrrr
"I'm sorry I didn't want to wrinkle the suit!" He says feeling guilty coming out of the bathroom with a nicely hung suit
I change into my suit and meet everyone downstairs and then it's out to the patio with our pool.
"Look we can watch the sun setting" dad says
As the sun is actually almost gone by now
"Dad it's basically gone" I laugh
"Whatever it was just a distraction anyway" he smiles before pushing me in the pool
"Dad!" I laugh coming up from the water
"It was just too easy Kid" he laughs and I watch steve dive expertly into the deep end
Clint and Nat have a cannon ball contest and Bruce goes down the ladder to get in.
"Tony come on" Bruce beckons him
"Yeah get in here!" Clint splashes around
"Nah can't mess up the hair" he says sipping his scotch
"Pleaseeee" steve and I beg
"Fine" he rolls his eyes and sits down on the side of the pool putting his drink beside him
We pull dad in and splash around for a while until it's very late. Everyone goes in to have some drinks. I just have sparkling grape juice.
"Guys we have to hang out more" Bruce laughs
"Agreed!" A very tipsy tony chimes in
"Time to hit the sack I gotta go" Clint smiles getting up
"Awhh don't go!" Dad stumbles up to hug him
"I have to go with him" Nat laughs hugging dad also
"Well we hope you come back soon" pops nods his head laughing at dad
Soon all our guests are gone so it's only pops dad and I.
We decide to play monopoly and dad ends up knocking out so pops and I play.
"Look at him" I laugh at the way dad lays on the couch
"He's adorable" pops fluffs his hair and moves his metal pawn
"You guys are like meant for each other I swear" I smile and pops grins
"I like to think that too" he says as he takes my money to put in the bank
"I don't want summer to end" I sigh knowing school starts tomorrow
"Y/n!! School starts tomorrow doesn't it??" He exclaims
"Yeah" I shrug rolling the dice and pops checks his watch
"It's almost 2 in the morning." He sighs at me in disappointment
"So what?" I smirk
"Get some sleep kid. You're just like your father" he starts to pack away the game
"Sleep? Sleep is for the weak." I smirk and pops glares at me
"Bed now please" he chuckles
"Fine!" I laugh running upstairs and getting everything ready for school
I come downstairs to brush my teeth and see Steve cleaning up.
I go into the bathroom and when I come back out Steve is laying on the couch now under dad with a blanket on top of both of them. Steve is reading as dad cuddles into his chest
"Night kiddo" pops says turning a page of his book
"Night" I yawn going to bed
