"Midoriya. This is to also test your fighting spirit. I don't believe you've got it in you to say those words. So come at me with everything you've got until the very end. It'd be an honor." You said as he smiled at you.
"Ready?" Present Mic screamed.
"Right!" He replied to you as you both got into fighting stances.
"Start!" Present Mic announced.
"HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" You yelled as your energy shot up and a white aura of energy surrounded your body. "Alright, here I come!" You yelled as you dashed towards Midoriya.
"Now...!" Midoriya thought as he raised his hand towards you and flicked his finger towards you.
What you didn't expect was a huge amount of force to be sent towards you, and the strong winds pushed you all the way back and almost knocked you out of bounds. You stepped away from the edge and looked at him in shock.
"What was that?" You thought before being surprised at Midoriya once again as you saw his finger had actually been broken. "He's hurt..." You thought before shaking your head. "No matter how I look at it, I can't let him just get by. He has to learn, and I can't hold back anymore." You said before powering up and charging back to the fight.
As all the students were watching you and Midoriya fight, Ryu was sitting in his chair with his eyes closed when he heard someone step near him.
"Umm, Ryu? Can I talk to you for a minute?" He heard someone ask him as he saw Ojiro standing next to him.
"What do you want? Your interrupting my rest." He said in an annoyed tone as Ojiro felt even more nervous, but sat down near him.
"Umm, you're fighting Shinso, right?" He asked.
"And what about it? He's shown himself to be a weakling, and weaklings deserve to be thrown in the dirt, and that's exactly what I plan to do. Do not underestimate me." He said angirly.
"I-I'm not! I swear...but...you shouldn't underestimate him either..." Ojiro said as Ryu opened one of his eyes.
"What are you on about? Don't be ridiculous." He said.
"I'm serious. Since you're fighting next, don't you think any information on your opponent will be beneficial to you?" Ojiro asked as Ryu suddenly stood up.
"You don't get it, do you? I am Ryu Shiozaki. Heir to my father's hero association and his rightful successor. I do not need any help from anyone who would give up the chance of being noticed by pro hero associations." He said as he walked away towards the waiting rooms.
As he entered the room and kicked his feet onto a table to relax, Ojiro once again came in.
"You're wrong, his quirk is something that even your or Y/N might not be able to handle!" He said as Ryu was angry now.
"I'd watch what you say next. Don't push me." He said as he stood up.
"Shinso's quirk, it's a quirk that can control people. It's too strong to beat head on." Ojrio said.
"How can you know it's so strong to beat head on, when you don't even remember what happened?" Ryu said angrily.
"I'm trying to tell you, once I answered his question, that's when my memory blanked out." He told Ryu.
"So what you're telling me is that if I even utter one word to him, he'll win most definitely." Ryu said as Ojiro shook his head.
"I said I barely remembered anything until almost the end, right? When we were running away after Shinso stole Tetsutetsu's headband, it looks like I ran into one of the horses on Team Tetsutetsu. That's when I snapped out of it. I remembered what happened clearly after that." Ojiro told him.
"So I have to pinch myself to not space out when he uses his quirk on me? Don't be ridiculous..." Ryu said before the screen in the waiting room turned on and showed you beat Midoriya and helped him to his feet as he was taken to see Recovery Girl.
"Ryu." Ojiro called him as he stopped in the door. "I'm going to say something selfish... but please do your best for me, too." He said as Ryu remained silent.
"Your worry about other people is going to hold you back. Sometimes, you need to worry about yourself first before anything." He said to him without turning back. "But there is something I will call admirable and respectable about you..." He trailed off as Ojiro looked at him. "You have great pride in yourself and your beliefs, don't let anyone take that from you, fight like hell to keep it." He said before walking out as Ojiro smiled and returned to the spectator seats.
As Ryu was walking out to got to the arena, you passed him and smirked while he ignored you.
"Show him your power, Prince." You said as he ignored your call.
The crowd roared into cheers as the torches re-lit around the fighting stage and Present Mic spoke up.
"Thanks for waiting! Next up is...these guys!" He announced as a picture of Shinso and Ryu popped up on screen. "Sorry, he hasn't done anything to stand out yet! From general studies, it's Hitoshi Shinso! Versus-- Some of you may know him or his father! The son of Genji Shiozaki, and prince to his entire legacy, Ryu Shiozaki!" Present Mic said as the two of them entered the fighting stage and you entered the student spectator box with Midoriya.
"Sorry about that, Midoriya." You apologized.
"It's alright, just win for me in the finals." He said as you smiled at him.
"You two were amazing." Momo said as she sat next to you.
"It's alright, Deku-kun. A lot of people noticed you in the prelim and the cavalry battle." Uraraka said as she cheered him up.
"Hey, they're just about to get started." Iida said as everyone looked towards Ryu and Shinso.
"I hope he listened to what I said." Ojiro mentioned.
"What'd you tell him?" You asked.
"Shinso's quirk is the ability to control people and their body. Answering him is what lets him activate the quirk." Ojiro said.
"Oh, well I wouldn't worry too much about it then. Ryu is definitely going to answer him." You said as Ojiro was shocked.
"Huh!? So he didn't listen to me, even after I warned him!?" He said in frustration.
"Ohh, no. He listened." You said as everyone looked at you. "Ryu before anything, even before a hero, he is a warrior. He'll take into consideration any information he has on his opponent. What he does next will be unexpected however." You said.
"So, he's going to be able to avoid it?" Midoriya asked as you chuckled and crossed your arms while looking right at Ryu.
"No...He's going to go right through it." You said.
"Start!" Present Mic yelled as Ryu stared down Shinso.
"So, I'll give you one chance. Give up, and I might let you get out alive." Ryu taunted as Shinso smirked.
"That bravado of yours is going to be your downfall. Say, you're a prideful person aren't you? What do you think of that loser who gave up the chance of joining a hero organization? Pretty stupid isn't it?" He asked.
"Hmph, what's stupid is your confidence. I am Ryu Shiozaki, and you are done for." Ryu said before a sharp pain shot through his head. "AGGHHHH!!!!!" He yelled as he dropped to his knees while holding his head.
"I've won." Shinso thought with a smirk. "Now, get up, and walk out of the stage." He told Ryu as his body suddenly began to shake.
"Whaa?! What's this!? The match has just begun, but now, Ryu is moving away from Shinso!" Present Mic announced.
"In terms of strengths, Ryu out-classes Shinso by a huge gap. Ryu would have no problem putting him down quickly. Now is only the matter if Ryu can break out of Shinso's brainwashing in time." Aizawa thought while looking at him.
"Yes, that's it. Walk on out, 'prince'. After you, I'll deal with your partner next." Shinso taunted as Ryu's eyes shot open in anger and he stopped in his tracks.
"Grr....! GAAAH!! I refuse!" Ryu said as he turned towards him. "You have no business with Y/N. He is my only objective!" He retorted as he continued to resist the control.
"Hmph, it's arrogant to fight back, you'll only strain yourself and run out of energy to even move. I've won, now get out!" Shinso told him.
"GAH! No! Get out of my head! I already told you!" He said as he glared at Shinso. "I...! Will not be distracted by this anymore! I won't!" He said as he clenched his fist tightly and energy surged around his body.
"You all might wanna hold onto something." You suggested as everyone grabbed their seats.
"what the...?" Shinso said as he took a step back and a bright aura surrounded Ryu.
"It will take more than head games to stop me! You may have invaded my mind and my body, but there's one thing I will always keep! MY PRIDE!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as he transformed and his energy shot out in all directions while emitting a blinding light, making everyone cover their eyes.
After the light dimmed, Shinso was on the ground and looked up in shock as Ryu was stood over him.
"By the way, for him to protect his pride like that, is much more admirable than whatever you could've done. You're a disgrace." He said as he blasted Shinso out of the stage and he crashed against the wall unconscious.
Everyone stared in shock as Ryu turned back to normal and began to walk away.
"Shinso is o-out of bounds! Ryu advances to round two!" Midnight announced as Ryu left the stadium speechless.
As he made his way back to the spectator box, he sat down and closed his eyes as everyone stared at him jaw-dropped.
"Did you have to be so dramatic?" You asked as he scoffed and ignored you while you chuckled and look forward.
The fights continued on through the day, and both you and Ryu cleared the first and second rounds with ease. You and Todoroki squaring off and you aiding him in seeing who he can really become, while Ryu senselessly beat down Bakugo and got him angry. After countless fights, third place was set for Bakugo to earn, and the final match would determine first and second, but it would also be the most intense fight in U.A. sports festival history.

"Ladies and gentlemen, students of all years! It's the final round of the U.A. sports festival! The top of the first years will be decided with this one match!" Present Mic announced as the crowd erupted into cheers. "The final, so to speak! From the hero course, Ryu Shiozaki! Versus-- Also from the hero course, Y/N L/N!" He introduced you two as everyone in the stadium roared into cheers. "Huh!? And they're not wearing their U.A. sports uniforms! Was this allowed?" He asked as he looked at the two of you as you and Ryu were both wearing different clothes
"Yes! It most definitely is!" Midnight said as she stared at Ryu's toned body and licked her lips, making him groan in disgust while looking away from her.
"This is going to be a big battle." Kirishima mentioned.
"Those two are so strong, I'm actually nervous to see who comes out on top." Mina said while looking away slightly.
"Y/N will win, I know it." Momo said, having complete faith in you.
"Your son, Y/N, he was trained by Ryu's father, was he not?" All Might asked.
"He was most of the time. But when he was at home or didn't feel like leaving the house, he'd beg us to train him and help him get stronger. No matter what training you put him through, he always pushed himself to his limits, and came out smiling." Your dad told him as the little girl he was holding smiled as she reached out to you.
"Onii-chan! Y/N onii-chan!" She giggled.
"Well, she's a spiteful little one isn't she?" All Might said as your dad agreed.
"Y/N Onii-chan!" She called for you as you turned around and smiled at her, making her grow a big smile and giggle.
"Y/N. Focus. I want you to be at one hundred percent when I beat you." He told you as you nodded.
"Yeah, let's go, Ryu." You said as the two of you got into your fighting stances.
"For this fight, you are not allowed to use your transformations. Your power would destroy the arena. Fight to the best of your ability." Cementoss said while sitting in his chair.

"Hmph, with my strength, I won't need to." Ryu taunted.
"Really? That's just what I thought." You retorted as he glared at you.
"Start!" Present Mic and Midnight yelled.
"HAAAAA!!!!" You both yelled as the stage surged with amazing power and there was a massive explosion, forcing everyone to cover themselves.
What came next shocked everyone, as there was sparks exploding in the smoke before a huge shock wave blew away the dust and revealed you and Ryu throwing punches at each other at inhuman speeds.
"W-Wow! I can't keep up at all!" Kirishima said.
"They're so fast, how...?" Jiro trailed off in shock.
"What's wrong, Ryu? Still warming up?" You asked while blocking his attacks.
"Maybe, but you seem to be as well." He fired back as you smirked.
"I might be. HYAAAA!" You yelled before kicking him to the ground.
As you landed in front of him, you ducked under his kick and swept his other leg to trip him. He back flipped and fired three energy blast at you as dodged two and cut the last one in half. After that, the two of you flew forward and began to trade hard blows, you blocked his right punch as he dodged your left kick. With each attack that clashed, it sent a shock wave through the stadium and made everyone stumble around in their seats.
"Wh-What amazing power!" All Might said as he was tossed into the back row behind him.
"Y-Yeah! These two really grew up! Whoa!" Your dad said as he held onto the little pink girl and the railing so he wouldn't fly off.
"Hmph, I expected more from this school." A voice said as everyone turned to see Ryu's father stood in the aisle with his arms crossed.
"G-Genji! Good to see you! Whoa! You here to see your s-son!?" Your father asked he simply stared on at the fight.
"I wish to see what progress he's made, and if he is worthy of being the prince to my agency, as well as my belongings once I am no longer a part of this world." He said while looking at him.
You both yelled as the power between the two of you rose higher and higher, creating strong winds that cracked the floor underneath you. Seeing an opportunity, you ducked under his right hook and kneed him in the gut, making him spit up.
"KYYAAA!!!" You kicked him in the chest and towards the out of bounds line, but he slid to a stop just before reaching the barrier. "Darn. So close." You said as he wiped his lip of blood.
"You're going to have to try harder than that." He said.
"I figured. Then how about this? HYAAAA!!" You yelled as your energy exploded and a red aura covered your body. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" You raised your voice as your energy shot up higher and higher.
"WHAAAAAA!? What's this!?!? A secret quirk he's been hiding!? What else does Y/N have up his sleeve!?" Present Mic said as Ryu glared at you.
"So, you're bringing out that novice trick, huh?" He spat at you.
"What's going on? He's on fire!" Uraraka said in worry.
"But he looks alright." Iida mentioned while looking carefully at you.
"Young Y/N...What are you doing...?" All Might thought while staring at you with intent.
"Hmph, so he brings that out." Genji said, catching the other pro heroes attention. "My wife taught them that, but my son despises the technique and won't use it. He says he's too good for it." He told them.
"That...is the kaioken technique." Your dad said as everyone stared at you in shock.
"Kaio....what...?" They all thought.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! KAIOKEN!!" You yelled before exploding at insane speeds towards Ryu.
You appeared in front of him faster than he could react and landed over a hundred punches on him already. Growing frustrated, he yelled as he caught your fist and punched you square in the face before powering up and blasting multiple energy blast towards you. To counter, you sent a wave of your own energy blast, creating multiple explosions in the center of the ring, sending Midnight flying and Cementoss was pushed back. Once the smoke cleared, Ryu came flying through the smoke and grabbed your face before slamming you into the ground and flying forward, skidding you across the floor. As you neared the out of bounds, he flew up and threw you into the center of the arena before landing on your stomach, making you spit up.
"Hmph, any last words?" He asked.
"AGH! KAIKEN TIMES TWO!" You yelled as your power exploded him into the air before you flew up and punched him in the face.
You flew above him and went straight down on top of him while rapidly punching his stomach on the way down. As he slammed on the floor, you continued your attack before reeling your arm back and throwing it down towards him. However, he was able to come back to his senses and met your punch with his own, creating another explosion that made everyone duck for cover. In the student box, they all slowly poked their heads up and once more the smoke cleared, they gasped when they saw you and Ryu in your fighting stances, breathing heavily as your energy surrounded your bodies in a white aura. Both your clothes were torn slightly and burn wounds along with a few cuts were visible on your bodies.
"What an amazing match! Both fighters have sustained multiple injuries, but neither is willing to concede!" Present Mic said as your smirked.
"Well, I don't know about you, but this has been pretty eventful, won't you agree?" You asked as he smirked as well.
"I told you, we're in a whole other class compared to these students here." Ryu said.
"Well, I'm sorry to cut things short, but we ought to wrap things up." You said while getting into a stance.
"I agree." He said before you smirked.
"If I do this, then I'll be way too weak to even move after this...But I'll win..." You thought as you looked towards him. "It's been a while...so I hope the toll isn't too great." You said as you clenched your fist tightly. "KAIOKEN...!" You yelled as your body was engulfed in its red aura.
What shocked Ryu however was that it was going higher than expected. The ground underneath you began to rise from the ground and your energy overflowed in the entire fighting arena as you raised your voice and your veins were popping out of your muscles.
"What's happening to Y/N!?" Mineta cried as he was blown from his seat and landed on Shoji's face.
"I can feel his power all the way from here!" Midoriya gasped while trying to hold on.
"He wouldn't..." Ryu thought as you dispersed the energy from your body and everything calmed down for a second.
You took a deep breath as the arena was silent before looking Ryu in his eyes and gritting your teeth.
"KAIOKEN....TIMES THREE!!!!!!!!!" You yelled as the red aura exploded around your body and you flew towards Ryu.
Once you were in front of him, you kneed him in the stomach before reappearing behind him and kicked his knee in. You disappeared again and appeared in front of him as you punched him repeatedly in the face and kicked him before grabbing his arm and spinning around in rapid circles. After one last spin, you slammed him on the ground before punching him in the gut, then his face, and finally using all your strength as your shirt had torn off completely, kicked him out of bounds.
"WHOOOOAAAAA! After an intense battle, the winner of this year's first-year U.A. sports festival is...from Class A, Y/N L/N!" Present Mic announced as as held your chest in pain and were wheezing.
"Man...really have to get used to using that again..." You cursed yourself as Ryu got up and was shaking with anger.
"This shouldn't be happening. I don't understand...I am a super elite!" He said as he glared at you. "Now he's sealed his fate, he's history! I'll destroy everything! EVERYTHING!" He yelled while being blinded by anger. "DO YOU HEAR ME, Y/N!? YOU'RE FINISHED!" He screamed from out of bounds.
"This doesn't look good...he's really angry...and my body hasn't recovered from the last attack! I should've thought of something else. Please body, don't give out yet! He might do something crazy!" You scolded yourself.
"That's enough, Ryu." Midnight said as Cementoss was behind her.

"SILENCE!" He yelled at them as he wiped his mouth and looked at the blood on his glove while shaking in anger. "Who does this fool think he's dealing with? He's beneath me! I'll show him! I'll show them all! I'll reduce this place to ashes!" He grunted before snapping completely. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Y/N!!!!!! DODGE THIS NEXT ATTACK IF YOU CAN!!!! BUT KNOW THAT IF YOU DO, THIS ENTIRE AREA WILL BE GONE, ALONG WITH YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE FRIENDS!!!! GRRR...! RRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" He yelled as a purple aura surrounded his body.
"No you can't!" You pleaded as he flew up high into the sky where his energy shined down on everyone as you all looked up at him.
"THE CHOICE IS YOURS, Y/N! BUT EITHER WAY, YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed insanely.
"Get out of here!" You told Midnight and Cementoss as you turned back towards Ryu. "No, not yet! I'm worn out!" You said worryingly as Momo looked at him in fear.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....!" Ryu raised his voice while his power continued to rise.
"I-I don't have any time! It's now or never!" You said before clenching your fist and gritting your teeth. " Agh... Gnngh...kaioken time three! HYAAAAA!!!!!" You yelled as red energy sparked around you and the red aura returned to your body as you aimed your palms forward before reeling them back behind you. "Let's see how he likes a kamehameha." You said as you began to chant and charge your attack. "KAAAAAAA.....MEEEEEEE...." You chanted as the floor all around you began to rise into the air and everyone was hanging on for their lives.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!" Ryu grunted as his power rose exponentially along with yours.
Sparks were flying everywhere as the entire stadium filled with yours and Ryu's energy.
"HAAAAAA.....!" You said once more as your attack was almost done.
"NOW, Y/N!!! PREPARE YOURSELF FOR OBLIVION!!!!" Ryu told you.
"MEEEEEE...!" You yelled as your power made the cover Cementoss and Midnight were hiding behind break and they ran for more cover.
"GALICK GUN!!!!!!!! GRRR...! HYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Ryu yelled as he fired a purple beam at you.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You yelled as you fired a blue beam at his attack.
When the beams clashed, there was a huge blast that blew everyone out of their seats.
"AAAAAAAAGHHHH! GRRR!! GNGHHH! AHHHHHH!!!!" You yelled while holding back Ryu's attack.
"IT CAN'T BE!!! HIS BEAM IS AS STRONG AS MY GALICK GUN!!" Ryu said in disbelief.
"Y/N!!!" Momo yelled while trying to reach for you.
The two of you grunted in pain while one tried to push the other off.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ryu yelled as his power began to overwhelm you.
"I've got to take it further!" You thought as you closed your eyes and braced yourself. "KAIOKEN!!!!!" You yelled.
"NO! Y/N!" Both your dad and Ryu's dad yelled for you to stop.
"TIME FOUR!!!!" You yelled as you increased your energy and power into your beam, sending a huge surge of power through it.
"AAAGGHHH! NOOO!!!!!" Ryu yelled. "AHHHHHHH!!!!!!" He yelled as your beam engulfed him and exploded, knocking him out and sending him falling.
In a rush, you shot your body towards him and caught him as you both crashed into the ground below, creating a massive crater under you as you were breathing heavily.
"Agh! M-My body...!" You groaned as everyone slowly peeked up from their seats.
"We're...not...dead..which means...he did it! HE DID IT!" Mineta yelled while crying as everyone cheered and screamed for you and Momo jumped into the arena.
"Y/N!!" She yelled as she saw you crawling out of the crater. "Y/N! Don't move! Help's coming!" She said with tears in her eyes as you laid on her lap.
"Ehehe, hey beautiful..." You said with a cheesy smile as she wiped her tears and smiled at you.
"Now you choose to be cheesy, of all times?" She said as she sniffled and laughed with you as recovery robots and other medical aids carried you and Ryu away to Recovery Girl.
"Wh-What a battle! Ladies and gentlemen! Now! If you could all please head outside to be checked by medical officials, we can resume the award ceremony of the U.A. sports festival!" Present Mic said as he hobbled out with spirals in his eyes as Aizawa followed him.
After everyone inside was checked and patched up for any debris that hit them from your fight, all the citizens made their return to their seats as the mass media went into the arena and took pictures while all the students were gathered in front of a stage where Midnight was making announcements.
"All of the first-year event's for this year's U.A. sports festival have been completed. And now, we will begin the award ceremony!" She announced as music began to play and fireworks shot into the sky as the crowd roared into cheers.
From behind Midnight, confetti and smoke popped into the air as pedestals were raised and once the smoke cleared, it was shown as you were on top of first place, Ryu, who was looking away with his arms crossed, standing on second, and Todoroki standing on third. What Midnight said next however surprised you.
"In addition to Todoroki, there is also Iida in third place, but he left early for family reasons. Thank you for understanding!" She said as she put her finger to her mouth and winked to look cute.
"Was that for the media?" Tokoyami wondered.
You looked at her before looking at Midoriya and only finding Uraraka with him.
"Iida-kun...?" You wondered before Midnight spoke again.
"Now, we will award the medals! The presentation of the medals will, of course, be by this man--" She cut herself off as she looked at the top of the stadium.
"AHAHAHAHA!!" You heard a familiar laugh and chuckled from it as you saw him on the roof of the stadium.
"It's All Might!" A spectator said as he leaped down to the pedestals you were all on.
"--Our very own hero, All Might!--I have brought the medals here!" She talked over him as he landed.
The stadium was silent and awkward as he turned to her shaking in embarrassment as she put her hands together.
"I talked over you..." She said as she apologized.
"This year's first years are so lucky." Someone said.
"They've got the number one hero watching them!" Another spectator said as Midnight held the medals.

"Now then, All Might, please present the medals, starting with third place." She said as he grabbed on medal and walked up to Todoroki.
"Ahahaha. Young Todoroki, congratulations. I assume there is a reason you did not use your left side in the final fight like you did against Y/N?" He asked while standing in front of him.
"I had an opportunity during my match with Y/N, but then I became unsure of myself. And if I had faought Midoriya like I had hoped to before, I think the same outcome would have been produced. I think I understand a little of why you are so interested in him. I wanted to become a hero like you. But I didn't think it would be the right way for me to be the only one to break away. There is something I still must settle." He said as you smiled at him and All Might nodded.
"The look on your face is completely different from before." He said before giving Todoroki a hug. "I won't ask about the details. I'm sure that you will be able to do what you need to do." He patted his back.
"Yes." He replied as All Might walked up to Ryu.
"Now then, Young Shiozaki!" He said as Ryu didn't look his way and looked down. "I understand the conflict in your heart. You acted without thinking and were only trying to be at the top. It happened to more than hundreds of pro heroes before, acting in a way without thinking that was not a very good choice to make. We've decided to move pass that with you because we understand you are still young and full of energy. Hold your head up high and keep your pride in tact, prince. Your journey is not over yet." He said as he placed the medal around his neck and left him in thought as Ryu clenched his fist.
"Shut up...old man..." Ryu thought as he felt weight lifted off his chest.
"Young Y/N!" He said as he stood in front of you and placed the medal around your neck.
You were expecting a long speech from him as well, but what he said instead left you speechless.
"Your mother would be proud, Symbol of Hope." He said to you.
You stared at him as the sun shined behind him, and behind him on the roof on the stadium, you saw your mother sitting on the edge, kicking her legs while smiling and waving at you. The sight brought you to tears as you collapsed to your knees and All Might caught you.
"Mother..." You gasped out as All Might rubbed your back in a calming manner before lifting you back to your feet as you wiped your tears away and smiled as he looked towards the other students.
"Well, they were the winners this time! But listen here! Anyone here could have ended up on these podiums. It's just as you saw--Competing! Improving each other! And climbing even further! The next generation of heroes is definitely sprouting! So, I just have one more thing to say! Everyone, please say it with me!" He yelled as everyone got hyped. "Ready, go--Thanks for your hard work!--Plus Ultra!" He and everyone in the entire stadium yelled all at once but differently.
"What!? It should've been "Plus Ultra!" there, All Might!" The crowd began to scold All Might for choosing a line that wasn't as cool as "Plus Ultra" at that moment.
"Well, I thought everyone worked hard..." He said in embarrassment.
After the ceremony was over and everyone cleared out and headed on home, Momo was walking out the stadium with you, carrying your other torn clothes when you felt something hug your leg. You looked down and saw the pink little girl again who was smiling at you.
"Y/N Onii-chan!" She said happily.
"Ohh, it's you. Where's my dad?" You asked.
"Over here." Your dad said as he walked up to you and the girl climbed on top of her head.
"Y/N, who's this little girl?" Momo asked.
"I don't know, before my fight, I found her in our class's waiting room scribbling on a paper." You said as she got comfortable on your shoulders.
"Onii-chan! I'm hungry!" She said which surprised you.
"She developed speaking skills so quick. Before she could barely say a word. Incredible..." You thought before smiling. "What do you wanna eat?" You asked.
"Ramen!" She said excitedly.
"Haha, alright, we can have ramen tonight. Wanna join us, Momo?" You asked as she blushed and nodded.
Once you made it home while buying ramen on your way, you were all at the dinner table eating happily before your dad brought up something.
"So, what are you gonna name her?" Your dad asked.
"Name her? Dad, she might have a family member looking for her." You said.
"Nu uh. I searched everywhere during the recreational hour at the festival. I even left the festival grounds to look, and no one claimed her. She must have been abandoned..." He said as you all looked at her eating happily while slurping up noodles. "Why don't we take her in? And you should name her." He said with a smile.
"Well, if I had to name her..." You said as you stared at her for a minute before coming up with one. "How does Liliana sound?" You asked.
"I think it's nice." Momo said.
"21!" You heard the girl say as she smiled widely at you. "I wanna be 21!" She said happily while grinning.
"21?" You asked as your dad remembered something.
"Ahhh, right! She saw an advertisement for a game and a female character caught her eye. It was this one." He said as he pulled up a picture of the character.
"She's from a game called 'DragonBall FighterZ', a fighting game....love that game..." He said lowly as he looked at the spot he hid the game in.
"Hmmm, but wouldn't being called a number be weird?" You asked.
"I wanna be 21!" She pouted cutely at you before you chuckled and patted her head.
"Alright, from this day on, you'll be called 21." You said as she giggled.
As you all continued to eat, Momo brought you to the hallway where they couldn't hear you two talk.
"Y/N." She said in a serious tone.
"What's wrong?" You asked.
"I know I might be jumping to conclusions, but she looks like that villain you fought back at USJ." She said as an image of buu flashed through your head. "I don't mean to assume, but..." She said as she looked at her eating.
"No, I see it too now...but if she is somehow connected to him, then she'd be trying to kill me now. Instead though, she's calling me big brother and eating with me. Maybe this will be leverage against him. I don't know, but don't worry, thing's will be okay. I'll watch over her." You said as she looked worried.
"I just don't want you getting hurt..." She said as she leaned against you and nuzzled into your chest as you hugged her.
"I won't, she's only a child as well. I'll teach her between what's good and bad." You said as the two of you stared at her.
"I just hope she stays on our side. Who knows what kind of tricks she could be hiding..." Momo said as 21 slurped up her soup and grinned while licking her lips.
