"Hey, where's Mikasa and Eren?" I ask Reiner. Reiner and I are close, I would even consider him my best friend.
"Not too sure, sorry Y/N." He replies. I mess with my silver bracelet and think.
I haven't seen Mikasa since that stupid conversation with the Captain happened. I actually don't even know where the higher ups are. Hm... Strange. I thought they might be strategizing along with Armin but, even then, Squad Levi would be with them. Only Petra from Squad Levi is gone.
I go over to a random cadet I don't know and ask the same question. His face pales and he answers.
"They're in court."
"What?"
"Eren appeared out of a titan, so he is being put to trial to see if he is going to be killed by the MPs." He continues.
Shit.
He gives me the court details and I rush over there.

I quietly enter the court room to see Captain Levi beating the shit out of Eren.
That evil Idiot.
I go and stand beside Mikasa, who looked like she was ready to jump over the fence and attack the Corporal. I place and hand on her shoulder and she calms a little and smiles at me. She fills me in with some details and we continue to watch the 'show'.

In the end, Eren received guardianship to the Survey Corps.
Well specifically to Captain Short Pants.
According to Commander Hanji, our squad and her own, needs to move to a castle so we can 'test out' Eren's new found powers and keep him on close watch underground. I don't mind much except we do have to pack up everything.
At the HQ, I load my small amount of items onto my dark grey horse, H/N, and I walk over to the Commander and Captain, and we wait for the others. I mess around with my silver bracelet while we stand I silence.
I can't remember when I first got this bracelet. It's always been a part of me. There's no clasp on it, so I am unable to take it off. I've had it since I was a baby, and I'm sure my wrist size has changed, so I'm not sure how its always fitted me. It's a small simple chain with a small curved rectangle on the upright part of the bracelet, so it is visible to others.
"Tch... I don't know why you are still here." I hear the Idiot speak, "My reason must've met standards."
"It did in a way, but Y/N doesn't seem bothered by it. Are you?" The Commander glances at me.
"No..?" I answer confused by their conversation.
"So she shall remain on the team. Your written account didn't seem overly serious since nothing of sorts really happened Levi."
"Tch. She just doesn't remember." The Captain says glaring at me.
I stroke my beautiful horse and ignore him.
He doesn't know what I remember and don't remember.
Although concerning whatever they are talking about, I don't remember.
Mikasa and Eren ride up to us and stop next to me. We start having our own conversation, before the rest appear. Gunther waves at me and I wave back before he stops next to me.
As weird as it may sound, he smells and talks like someone familiar. My hands holding the reigns begin to shake a little.
No, no, no. Not a panic attack.
The Corporal tsks and then Gunther moves away to Petra and I start to calm.
Wait. Where do I know him from?
The Commander says Goodbye to us and Hanji leads us to the Castle.

We arrive to the old castle, that apparently used to be the old HQ, just to be told by the Corporal we must all clean at least 3 rooms. I don't mind cleaning, I find it therapeutic sometimes. I grab some cleaning materials and start cleaning the first room.
Staying here is going to be nice because we don't have to share rooms and the plumbing isn't bad for an old building. Every room has an en-suite.
Unfortunately for Eren, he has to stay underground.
I continue cleaning my 5th room when I hear the typical "Brat."
I sigh and glance at the Corporal. "Sir?" He is so rude.
"Show me the rooms you've cleaned."
I go to the first room and he inspects it. He slides his fingers under the table and there's no dust. Obviously I cleaned there. He goes over to corners and inspects for molds or spiders. He grits his teeth when he notices there aren't. He then inspects the window sill, which there isn't any dust on it, but anyway, he yells, "Cadet!"
"Yes Sir?" I answer.
"This window sill is filthy."
Knowing it isn't, I glare at him and walk to the window sill.
"How Sir?" I say staring at it.
"Well its obviously covered in dust." He says glaring at me. I swipe my finger on it and look at it, Yup, no dust. I show him the finger and he tsks.
"Get back to work Cadet." He says leaving the room.
"Idiot" I mutter.

2 days have passed since we arrived at the castle. I get up and put on my uniform. I believe today Eren is going to do some experiments. I tie my hair in my usual ponytail and walk towards the 'Mess Hall'. Its basically a room and we put a dinning table. I sit down next to Eren and we talk about today. Eren ruffles my hair and I go to fix it again when my bracelet gets caught in it, forming a knot.
"Shit." I say, trying to get my bracelet out. This catches everyone's attention, especially the wonderful Corporal.
"What, Cadet?" He asks.
I glance at him, "Nothing." This shouldn't be too hard. I yank my hand and yelp when I feel some strands rip from my head, but the bracelet is still stuck.
"Y/N let me help you." Eren says getting up and trying to fix the problem, but only making it worse.
"Tch, you can't do shit Jaeger." The Corporal says standing up and heading to the kitchen. He comes back out and moves behind me.
Snip.
Snip Snip.
I immediately move my head away. I stare at him with my mouth hanging. I notice my hand by my side, so he did get the bracelet out. He glances at me but goes back to my hair, holding my ponytail tight.
"You can't fight titans with your hair this long." He says, continuing to cut my hair.
My Hair. I liked my hair at that length. My dear H/C hair.
"You don't get to decide whether my hair is short or not. I've killed enough Titans with this Hair to say that isn't true!" I say removing his hand from my ponytail.
"What's done is done. You won't be as useless anymore. Its not that short anyway. Make sure you sweep up your disgusting hair though. Its all over the floor." This idiot wants to die. My face heats up because of how angry I am getting.
"I am NOT cleaning up after YOUR mess." I say standing up and going to my room. I need to see how bad my hair looks.
I open the door and enter the bathroom. I stare in the mirror already expecting a nest on my head but surprisingly, it doesn't look too bad. It used to be down to nearly the middle of my back but now it is just past my shoulders. He also cut it so there are layers.
I guess the rumors about him cutting his own hair is true.
But I'm still pissed.
This is technically assault, right?
I head outside and I see Squad Leader Hanji and Shorty talking with Eren. I walk over to Mikasa and observe.
