Anxiety didn't know what happened.

One moment, he was glaring at himself in the mirror - a hobby of his - and the next, he was lying on his back, staring at the ceiling - another hobby of his, but this time it wasn't his choice.

His head was dully thrumming, and his body ached as if all of his bones had deconstructed and and reconstructed in a completely different shape. He groaned and struggled to his feet,  his eyes meeting the mirror.

He screeched.

Or rather. . .

She screeched.

Anxiety frantically looked him- er, herself over, desperate word fragments sputtering from her lips. She gave another horrified look at the mirror and there was no denying it.

Her makeup was slightly more complex and there was now the addition of matté black lipstick. Her hair was significantly longer, the tangled brown and sangría locks falling almost stylishly over her shoulders and hanging just above her hips. Having already taken off her sweatshirt, it was easy to view her slim, curved figure through a loose MCR crop top tank and ripped black shorts. Chipped black nail polish decorated her fingers as they explored this new form. She had to admit, if she had been into girls, she would've been incredibly attracted.

As she put her mind back to the topic at hand - how? - her expression darkened and she put her low - yet feminine - voice to the test. "PRINCEY!"

As she stormed into the commons, she realized she wasn't the only one afflicted by the inexplicable circumstance.

The girl she assumed to Morality didn't look all that bothered, flashing a bright smile and showing off her - admittedly adorable - dimples. "Well, hey-a, kiddo!" Her soft hair was styled in a rather fitting shoulder length cut, with a butterfly clip keeping it out of her eyes. A light blue sweater clung to her female body and trailed against her 'mom jeans'. Althought her clothes weren't as revealing as Anxiety's, it was easy to see her love handles and slightly thicker figure. It was. . . cute.

Contrary to Morality's acceptance, Logic looked undeniably irritated. Her hair was shaved partway, leaving short locks on the top of her head that hung just to the side of her vision as if commanded to stay put. Her arms were crossed over her sleeveless white blouse, which was tucked impeccably into her black pencil skirt. "I'm sure we've all come to the conclusion of who's responsible for this predicament."

As if cued, a figure stumbled into the commons. A heavy exhale escaped the rose-colored lips as a hand ran itself through the long wavy hair, pushing it back. Prince looked shocked upon seeing them, blinking a few times. She seemed perfectly content waltzing around in a white sports bra and red gym shorts, showing off her athletic and curved body. "You all were affected too?"

Anxiety stepped forward, eyes narrowed as she placed her hands on her hips. "Oh, so you know what happened?" She drolled in a tone that heavily implied that she was fully aware Prince would know.

Prince's wide eyes remained locked on Anxiety, bright red starting to dote her face.

Anxiety groaned loudly, rolling her eyes as dramatically as was possible. "Prince, you useless lesbian, can you focus for six seconds?"

Prince snapped to attention, clearing her throat. "A-Ah! Right! Well, as you can see, you're all females."

Anxiety prepared for a sarcastic response, but Logic cut her off. "No shit."

"Language!" Morality immediately jumped to the parenting role, turning a stern glare on her counterpart.

"English." Logic mocked back.

Anxiety raised in inquisitive eyebrow, still waiting for an answer. Prince fulfilled the silent request. "Well, long story short, it's a dragon witch's curse. I'm. . . working on it."

"We're doomed." Anxiety moaned.

~~~
Anxiety finished brushing her hair and sighed. It had been a solid week and Prince was no closer to finding a cure than he was when it happened. Explaining it to Thomas had been. . . interesting, but he had handled it well enough, all things considered.
Everyone seemed to adjusting in different ways. Morality seemed to accept it just fine, although the first time she had to put on her bra, she got stuck.
Anxiety had spent the first two days wondering why it hurt when she walked normally. Logic then explained that - due to the female shape - it was imperative to narrow the space between feet and sway hips to keep balance.
Logic had become furious when she realized all her ties now sat awkwardly against her blouse and had screamed for a solid minutes. Afterwards, she sat down with some tea and a book, acting as if nothing had happened.
Prince was seemingly unbothered by the developments. She was constantly singing Disney princess songs in their original key or acting out scenes from Heathers to herself. Although, Anxiety frequently caught her staring, red-faced, at them. (Mostly Anxiety, but she ignored that.) She supposed it only made sense, considering that Prince was the only one of them who still retained some attraction to females.
However, despite Prince's valiant efforts, it seemed like they were going to be stick as females for a while.
Anxiety sighed as she stared at her ceiling - by choice this time. Her new form had benefits - and yes, she was known to complain about her old body - but it just. . . wasn't right.
She missed herself.
She sat upright. "Did I just. . . admit that to myself?" She breathed. "I miss myself. . ." She spoke again. The words rolled off her tongue and she realized she meant them. She missed herself and she missed being herself.
"It's about damn time."
Anxiety bolted up to her feet, eyes wide and panicked. "Who's there?!"
The shadows converged before forming a unfamiliar figure, wearing a deadpan expression. She was slightly taller than Anxiety, only showing the right side of her face. Her lips were dark and pressed thin in annoyance. A black leather jacket took place on her shoulders over a yellow crop top. A short black skirt laid over top black tights and black boots. When she turned her face completely towards Anxiety, her identity became clear.
"Deceit?"
Deceit rolled her mismatched eyes. "Do you know how hard it was to hold out for a week?"
The door crashed open and Prince stood there, panting. "I got. . . your text." She looked up. "It worked?"
"Obviously." Deceit hissed, crossing her arms, where fingerless yellow gloves cling to her pale hands. Yellow and black pattered each nails as they drummed against her triceps.
Anxiety's gaze swiveled between them. "What the actual hell is going on?! Are. . . are you behind this?!" She jabbed a finger at the snake-faced facet.
Deceit gave her another flat look. "I'm Deceit, Virgil. Trait of lies and master of mimickery and illusions." She placed a hand and her hip and flicked a finger towards Prince. "I was recruited for this particular illusion."
Prince shuffled nervously. "I. . . understand you might be mad."
"Clearly."
"But. . ." The sorrow in Prince's eyes shocked Anxiety, "we all hear you and see you bring yourself down all the time. You act like you despise yourself." She rubbed her arm. "And that hurts us, because we love you a lot. Just the way you are."
"That's where I come in." Deceit bowed. "Princess asked for my help and I - being the loving and compassionate persona I am - graciously complied."
Prince raised an eyebrow. "You're making me clean your room for a week-"
"Never mind all that." Deceit waved her off. "Besides that, I used a bit of my power, whipped up an illusion, and bam!" She winked. "Females."
Anxiety's wide eyes turned to Prince. "You did all of this. . . just because you wanted me to like myself?"
She chuckled nervously. "Well, when you put it that way, it sounds really stupid and complicate - mmph!" She teetered back, red exploding on her face as Anxiety's lips crashed against hers.
"Oh, whoa! Ugh!" Deceit exclaimed in disgust as she turned away and threw her arms up to shield her eyes. "A little warning next time! Ugh. . . affection is disgusting."
As Anxiety pulled away, Prince wrapped her arms around the smaller girl. "I thought you didn't like girls?"
"I don't." Anxiety blushed, letting her hair fall into her face. "But I like you. No matter what you look like."
Prince pressed a kiss to Anxiety's forehead before adjusting her gaze to the illusion master. "Deceit, could you - ?"
"As long as you never do that in front of me again." Deceit raised her hands and clapped. Reality seemed to distort for a few moments before clarity returned. Deceit was gone and both Prince and Anxiety sat up from where they had - once again - been knocked to the floor.
Wide grins broke out in their faces as they took in the familiar forms they had missed. Surprisingly, Anxiety was the one to close the distance, throwing himself at Prince in another embrace. After what seemed like an eternity - yet ended too soon for their liking - Anxiety pulled back. Their lips inched towards one another again.
As they neared connection - close enough to feel each other's labored breath - it seemed like it was only them in the world.
That soon changed.
"LOGAN, I CAN'T GET THIS BRA OFF!"
"BUT, PATTON, MY TIES!"
~~~

Anticlimactic? Yes, very much so.

I dunno, I kinda liked the concept.

Wow. That was. . . not negative.

The writing sucked, but the concept. . .

There it is.

Anyways, guess, The Q & A will be out shortly. Production is underway.

Quick announcement - remember that play I was in not too long ago?

Yeah, that one?

Well. The play - remember - was called "Almost, Maine". My character's name was Glory. I suggest looking up the Synopsis sometime if you're going to follow through with my next request.

My good friend -

- the one being brutally stabbed by us - has created a WattPad account.

Lman_15

He had started a story called "Almost, Insane" and it's kind of like a horror sequel to "Almost, Maine". It's really good and it centers around my character - Glory's - return to Almost.

Again, it's really good and you should read it.

I really hope he doesn't see this, I'll never hear the end of it.

Random shoutout to TrulyNothingEnds because guess what?

I still love her.

Okay, that's all. Bye.
