TONI'S POV
KT comes skipping over, she's so happy right now, probably the happiest she's been since she got here.
"MOMMIES!" She screams as she reaches the table "I taught Juniper and Dagwood how to play hockey!"
"That sounds fun!" I answer
"Kait, go sit uncle Sweetpeas lap," Cher says because he's right across from us
"We have something to tell you," She starts calmly "Sweetie, mommy's.." she stumbles tearing up
"Sweetie Mommy is sick,"
"Like the flu?"
"No not the flu, Sweetie mommy has breast cancer," I say starting to cry
I can tell Kait is holding back tears.
"I know this is a weird question but you said 'mommy' so which one of you has c-ca-Cancer"
"Oh sweetie I forgot about that" Cher says laughing through her tears "It's me Kait,"
Kait looks down at her hands.
"That's why all of you were crying yesterday?"
"Yes,"
"How long?" She asks looking at Cheryl "How long have you had it?"
"The test was last November,"
"Oh, m-may I g-go to the bathroom?"
"Ya sure," Sweetpea says
KT walks away and Cher starts bawling.
"Cher, hey calm down," I say pulling her into a hug
"She doesn't deserve this Toni," she says through sobs "She shouldn't have to put up with this,"
"Babe, you don't deserve what You're going through," I say
"Who should go talk to her?" Cher asks "she was obviously upset,"
"I will," I say "Stay here ok?"
"Ok babe,"
I get up and walk towards the bathroom and once I reach the door, I put my ear up to the door. I hear water running and that's about it. I walk in and see Kait looking at the mirror putting water on her cheeks and trying to make herself calm down, finally she slides down the wall to sit on the floor.
"Kait?" I said walking in fully
"What?" She says frustrated "sorry that was rude,"
"It's ok kid, what's on your mind?" I say sitting beside her
"Well, Cheryl has Cancer and its probably all my fault,"
"Why?" I ask confused
"Well doesn't stress cause cancer? Or like make it worse?"
"Not to my knowledge kiddo," I gave a small laugh "Stress usually just gives you acne and a tummy ache,"
"Oh, well thanks for being my mom, are my bags in the car? I hope Cheryl gets better" she really starts to cry now
"What?"
"Well I assumed that's why Mrs. Mergers is here," KT says confused "She's the one that dropped me off at your house, she also took me away from my Montreal family after the incident,"
"What lady?"
"The one in the restaurant, the one with dark hair, sitting across from a red head, she's really pretty.
"Lodge," I mumble "Well I don't know why she's here, but it's definitely not for you. I love you ok?"
"Love you too, can we go back out?"
"Whenever you want," I say
She gets up and wipes her eyes. We walk out together and Kait decides to sit on Cheryls lap.
"Hey buddy,"
"Hey mommy, I'm sorry,"
"It's ok Kait, I understand,"
"Cher get this she didn't even walk away because of your cancer, she thought we were giving her away and sending her back to Canada,"
"Now why would you ever think that?" Cher says kissing Kait on the cheek.
"Because of Mrs. Mergers," Kait says shyly
"Who?" Fangs asks
"Lodge-Andrews over there," I nod my head in her direction
"Why would Lodge take you away?" Cheryl asked concerned
"She was the one that dropped me off at your house, she also picked me up from the police station after the Montreal incident, she took me to Toronto and I lived with her for almost a week before my foster family had a room, she said if I moved again, she'd be back. She's really nice though, she always listened and brought me ice cream."
"Well, shes not here to take you away,"
"You know I did lie to Hiram and Archie and Veronica, I told 1 other person about Kayden, I told Hermione too," 
"YOU DID WHAT?" I say shocked
"Well ya, I kinda had to," Kait says "There had to be a reason I was... distracted,"
"Okay, why don't we go say hi," Cheryl says
"OK!"
Kait skips across the restaurant and Toni and I walk behind her
"Hi Mrs. Mergers!" She says excitedly
"Hey Kait! I forgot you moved to Riverdale," She says giving Kait a hug
"Yep!"
"Hey Hermione, sorry for being rude earlier but when we've encountered Lodges' in this restaurant lately things haven't gone so well," Cheryl says
"What do you mean?" Hermione says confused
"Well Hiram came and intimidated me, then when Toni and Cheryl figured out what he had said, he came back with someone named Archie? And tried to kidnap me and then well held a gun to my head, sot a gun at Cheryl and held a gun to Toni's temple," Kait explains
"And then your daughter accused us of abusing KT and then I sent her to prison for rape among other charges," I say
"Archie did what?" Fred says from beside us
"Oh, hi Mr. Andrews," KT says
"You know him too?"
"Ya he lived in Toronto," She says non chalantly
"Well, in what country  are you asking?" Cheryl asks
"What did he do in CANADA?"
"Broke my leg, and helped kill someone," KT says
"Oh my god, that boy," He says "I'm so sorry,"
"It's ok Mr. Andrews."
"Why are you here if its not to pick me up?" KT asks
"Were moving back into the Pembroke,"
We continue talking until Jug tells us they are going to the docks.
"We have to get going but it was nice catching up with you,"
"You as well,"
We leave and go to the river. Kait goes swimming with Fangs and Pea and the the rest of us sit down on the grass. I half sit/half lie down propping myself up with my elbows. Cheryl gets off her phone and lies down beside me with her head on my stomach.
"That was the doctor," She starts "we are all set up for tomorrow at nine,"
"Okay babe that sounds good," I say rubbing her arm.
"I asked for a week or two off treatments in September when KT goes back to school,"
"And what did they say?"
"He said I can have 5 days in September, Which is good," She says
"That's great babe, plus its Riverdale Central Public School, so she'll be ok,"
"I know, she will be ok, but will you be ok Toni?" She says looking up at me
"I'll be fine babe, why?"
"Well, I'll be in the hospital at least 6 days a week,"
"I'll come visit as often as possible, ok? Nothing has to change,"
"KT wont come, she hates the hospital, with good reason plus I don't want her to see me like that,"
"She will come sometimes and babe between the stooges and Betty, we have a village."
"True," she laughs "Babe make me a promise?"
"Anything,"
"They said after some of the treatments I'll be irritable and say things I don't mean, please don't take it personally, and please don't leave me,"
"Never Cher,"
"Babe I'm gunna be a total bitch, like before I met you bitch,"
"Well, I never met the 'Before Toni' Cheryl, but if she's anything like the Cheryl I met at the drag race, she's hot, but she is a little hmm how do I say this, she was a total bitch" I say jokingly
"You are such a bitch," She rolls her eyes and sits up to eye level to me.
"shut up," I say
"Make me," She smiles and pulls me in for a kiss
We end our kiss and I pull her into a hug. I hear her silent crying.
"Cher are you ok?" I whisper not breaking our hug
"Toni I'm scared,"
"I know babe you will get through this,"
"But, what if I don't,"
"You can't think like that Cher,"
"Yes i can Toni, its the only thing I can think about it," She says bawling
"You will get through this ok? You will be fine,"
"I know," She says breaking the hug and looking me in the eyes "Because I have you,"
