Chapter 14

We finally pulled up to my house. Luke asks
"Are your parents home?"
"Nah, my mom is visiting dad at his work this weekend." I reply getting put of the car.
He follows me into the house.
"You were right, I can't really see that well out of my left eye."
"Ha! Told ya so!"
"Congratulations!!!!! You winnnnnothing. Now fix my face."
I just laugh a little and go to the cabinet with the first aid and medicine stuff. I take out some rubbing alcohol.
"Now this is gonna hurt a bit."
"Okay." Is all he says. But as soon as I made contact with his skin he flinched. I smirked to myself. As I continued around his face, him sucking in a breath as I went directly over his cut jaw. I lightly shook my head while holding back a smile.
"What?" He asks
"You thought it wouldn't hurt. And you're trying really hard not to show that it really hurts." I say
"Weeeeellll....."
"Don't even."
"Fine. It hurts." He barely mumbles.
I put the last bandage on his cut jaw, and had him hold a ice pack to his eye.
"Hey, uh, since its late ya wanna just stay here for the night? We have a guest room you could use." I say
"Uh, yeah, that would be great." He groans as he gets up
"Ok, its down the hall, first door on your left."
"Thanks Nik, goodnight."
"Night Luke." I say back. He called me Nik. No one does that. Oh well, I don't really care that much. I think I kinda like it.
