Xander kissed Violet’s forehead. Tulog na tulog ito sa braso niya. The smell coming from her is so heavenly. What happened a while ago was different from other women he had bed. With her, he didn’t think it would be so beautiful.
He didn’t expect Violet to do such thing. His sweet little and hard-headed Violet made him lost all his control. She was…
He smiled remembering what had just happened, and damn for he just was having a hard on! He can’t hurt her again. She must have a rest first. His desire for her can wait. For now, he’s contented to have her in his arms.
“I love you, Violet. And I’ll be glad to forever have you in my arms.” He said and gave her a kiss on the lips and drifted off to sleep.

Nagising si Violet nang maramdaman niyang may kamay na gumagapang sa braso niya.
“Morning, Sweety.” Xander’s smiling face greeted her.
She went red when she remembered what happened last night.
“You’re blushing.” Tudyo nito sa kanya na may nakakalokong ngiti. He gave her a smack then stood. He’s topless and is wearing jeans. The same old jeans that he was wearing last night that she insisted to be unzipped!
“What happened?!” Bigla niyang nasabi kahit alam naman talaga niya ang nangyari. >//////<
“You want to reinact what happened, Let?” sabi nito at bumalik sa kama niya at pinaibabawan siya.
“Hoy!” Pilit niyang pinaalis ito sa ibabaw niya.
“What? You’re asking what happened, right? Mahirap ikuwento Let eh. Mas maganda kung ulitin na lang natin.” Hindi ito natinag, unti-unti pa rin nitong nilalapit ang mukha sa kanya.
“Umalis ka nga diyan!”
“Why?” He asked looking so innocent.
“Tatayo na ako.” She said.
“Okay.” Umalis naman ito sa pagkakaibabaw sa kanya.
When she’s about to pull the covers, she realized she’s not wearing a thing under it! Tinapunan niya ng tignin si Alexander na titig na titig sa kanya habang nakaupo sa sofa kaharap ng kama niya. Nakasuot na rin ito ng pantaas.
“Why, sweety?” he asked innocently.
“Hmmm.. ano… ahmmm.. labas ka muna… “
“Bakit naman?”
“Tatayo nga ako.”
“Wala na ako sa ibabaw mo. You may stand.” He said with a naughty smile.
“Lumabas ka muna nga.” She frustratedly said.
“Why? Cause you’re not wearing a thing underneath those sheets? Nakita ko na yan Let, I’ve also touched and kiss—ed! Whoah!” Napatayo ito dahil binato niya rito ang alarm clock na nasa side table niya na alerto naman nitong naiwasan.
“Labas! And control your mouth for Pete’s sake!”
Tawa naman ito ng tawa.
“Aye aye sweety, buti na rin na lumabas ako. Baka maisipan kong sunggaban ka, I know you won’t resist but I wanna give you time to recover.” He winked and walk towards the door.
“Alexander…”
“Yes, sweety?”Baling nito sa kanya ng may hope ful look. “Is it unfair that I’m on my jeans?” He said teasing her.
She gave him a ‘don’t-bring-that-subject-look’.
“Ahmm… “ Jeez.. she can’t find words to say.
“Don’t worry, Let. What happened last night is just between the two of us. I’m happy to be your first though I feel guilty for losing control. I love you so much Let.”
She gave him a genuine smile. “I- I wanted it too.” Yumuko siya nang sabihin yun, last night was wonderful. It did hurt but Xander tried to be gentle as much as possible.
He chuckled. “ I know. That’s why you can’t wait and we had a pre-honeymoon. Go change, sweety. I’ll tell them to prepare breakfast.”

“What’s for breakfast?” Tanong niya kay Xander ng matapos siyang magbihis at bumaba para sa late breakfast nila.
Inakbayan siya nito at sabay silang pumunta sa dining area. “Your cook prepared hotdog and egg. Mas madali raw i-prepare yun.”
May panunukso sa paraan ng pagkakasabi nito ng ‘hotdog and egg’ kaya tinanggal niya ang pagkakaakbay nito.
“Kumain na nga lang tayo.” Sabi na lang ni Violet para mawala ang tensiyon na nararamdaman niya. Nauna rin sa pag-upo.
WAH!!! How could I do such thing last night?!
“Namumula ka Let.”
“Umupo ka na lang at kumain, Alexander.” Sinimulan na niya ang pagsubo pero nakatayo pa rin ito at kahit di niya ito tingnan ay alam niya na titig na titig ito sa kanya.
“I’m not hungry… for food.” She looked up to see him staring at her with the same look as he had last night. She knows what he wanted to imply.
“Eh di wag kang kumain. Wag ka dito, di ako makakain ng maayos. “ pagtataray niya dito.
“Hahaha. I’ll just eat with you then.”
Umupo ito sa tapat niya at nagsimula na ring kumain. A smile was plastered in his lips. At madalas ang pagsulyap nito sa kanya.
“I didn’t know that you easily get jealous, Let.” He suddenly said.
“I’m not jealous!” labas sa ilong na sabi niya. Naamin niya sa sarili kagabi na selos talaga ang nararamdaman niya.
“You sound guilty.”
“Whatever, Alexander.”
“Dapat pala lagi kang nagseselos eh. “
“I told you I’m not jealous.” tanggi pa rin niya.
“Yeah, yeah.”
*SILENCE
“Hmm… sweety?” si Alexander.
“Bakit?” somehow the ‘sweety’ endearment is pleasing to hear.

“About last night, Let. The woman you saw, she’s nothing Let. I swear. I didn't even remember her name. ” He held her hands and look at her.
She gave him a warm smile. “I do believe you.”
“Thanks, sweety.” He stood and huggged her from behind.

“Violet!” she heard Josh calling him.
Naiilang siya kay Josh dahil may nasabi siya rito na hindi maganda nung minsan ay hinatid siya ni Alexander.
Hindi siya naihatid ngayong araw ni Alexander dahil may hinahanap raw ito na isang recording artist na hindi sumipot sa mga pinirmahan nitong kontrata.
“Ah,good morning Josh.” Naiilang niyang bati sa binata nang makalapit ito sa kanya.
“Morning too. Mr. Yu told me to hand this to you. He said you have to make the documentation of our system. For future references.” Inabot nito sa kanya ang folder na may nakalagay na ‘highlights of the process’.
“Thank you, Josh.”
Tumango ito at akmang tatalikuran siya kaya nagsalitaulit siya.
“Ahmm, Josh, i-I wanna say sorry for last time. It’s very rude of me.” she apologized sincerely.
“It’s okay. You’re right anyway, your fiancé is a bigtime man, samantalang isa mulang akong officemate.”
Now she’s really guilty for what she said. “I don’t mean anything, Josh. Marangal pa rin naman ang trabaho natin. We should be proud.”
Ngumiti ito sa kanya. “It’s really okay, Violet. But if you still feel guilty, can you accept my offer? Let's have lunch together.”
Gumanti rin siya ng ngiti rito. “Sure.”
“Hmm, how about your fiancé? Asan nga pala siya?” Napansin siguro nito na walang naghatid sa kanya.
“May kailangan siyang asikasuhin. Urgent matter raw.”
“Oh, I see. Hindi ba siya magagalit?”
“Hindi naman. I’ll tell him we’re friends. Beside, it’s just a friendly lunch.”
“I’ll fetch you later then.”
“Okay.” Nakahinga siya ng maluwang. Ayaw niya ng nakakailang na atmosphere sa office.

“When is the wedding, Violet?” tanong ni Josh sa kanya pagkaupong-pagkaupo nila. Gusto sana siya nitong dalhin sa labas pero mas pinili niyang kumain na lang sila sa office cafeteria. May baon din kasi siya na prenipareng mommy niya.
“2 weeks from now.” She answered.
“Kaya pala pinapadali na ni Mr. Yu sayo ang documentation.”
“Hah? Anong kinalaman dun ng pagpapakasal ko?” natawa pa siya sa sinabi nito.
“I heard that you’re going to resign, gonna build a family right after the wedding.”
Ano raw?! ”Where did you get that crap?”
“Well, the documentation will be for the person na papalit sayo. Kinausap raw ng fiancé mo si Mr. Yu na you’re going to quit the job dahil nga magpapamilya ka na.”
She fell into a deep thought. Is she going to sacrifice the job she loves the most? And that man, di man lang sinabi sa kanya na kinausap nito ang boss niya! He decided for her!?
“Violet!” she heard Josh snapped. “You seem preoccupied.”
“Hindi naman, may naalala lang ako bigla.”
“Ambilis mo naman siyang mamiss.”
Nginitian na lang niya ito.
She had to confront that man.
