summary : in which you find yourself falling for the popular senior in your school because the drama teacher decides to cast the two of you as Romeo and Juliet.
Grayson's Pov :
I never thought that I would look forward to going to drama practice. But (Y/N) made me want to go everyday.
It's been a few weeks and (Y/N) and I started getting much closer. She helped me a lot with the pronunciation of the words and memorization and I helped her with being more comfortable speaking out.
"Grayson! (Y/N)! We need to practice Act 1 Scene 5!" Mr. Moore yelled catching both of our attention.
(Y/N) and I haven't read that scene yet so we were nervous that Mr. Moore would scold us for not being productive.
I helped (Y/N) onstage as the rest of the cast sat and watched.
"Start from page 5, line 92," mr. Moore scanned the script.
We both turned to the page and started.
I reached out for (Y/N)'s hand as it said and began to speak, "If I profane with my unworthiest hand

From time to time I'd glance at her to see if I was doing the pronunciation right. She always nodded encouragingly.
"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss," (Y/N)'s voice spoke a little shaky
She was nervous, this was our first time practicing in front of a crowd even though it was jut the class.
We went on quite smoothly until it was my turn to read, "Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take.
Kisses her."
I had to kiss (Y/N). I looked up to see her eyes wide as saucers.
We were silent for a little bit until mr. Moore spoke up rather loudly, "Why have you stopped?"
"Sir, it says I need to kiss her, do I really need to do that?" I asked making (Y/N)'s face contort in a wow really? face.
"No Grayson it's there for decoration, Yea you need to kiss her!"
"Like on the lips or?" I questioned making everyone laugh.
An embarrassed blush crept onto (Y/N)'s face.
"Yes Grayson," was all mr. Moore said.
There was silence yet again as I just stared at (Y/N), who looked just as nervous as I was.
"Um mr. Moore," (Y/N)'s small voice almost whispered.
"Speak up young lady!" He exclaimed causing her to jump a little.
"I um, I'm not comfortable with the kiss on the um lips," she barely stuttered out. Did she not want to kiss me?
"It's just a kiss (Y/N)," The instructor tried to reason.
"But um I've never had a uh-" she looked around before continuing, "a kiss."
The whole auditorium went quiet before the popular kids and my friends starting an uproar of laughter.
"What a Virgin Mary!" One of the guys yelled.
"I'm not surprised, no one would want to kiss her anyways!" Talia laughed with Jake.
"Haha that's sad I'm sure even Jimmy has gotten kissed," he referred to the dorkiest kid in our class who had a thing for bugs and picking his nose.
Jimmy nodded with confident smile.
"She's never gonna get kissed and she shouldn't, if I were Juliet sir, I wouldn't have a problem with this scene," Talia smirked as she strutted onstage pushing (Y/N) out of the way.
She grabbed my neck and shoved her lips onto mine.
I've made out with her before and I've always liked it but now it felt wrong.
I had even noticed (Y/N) ran out until Talia pulled away.
Talia smirked and walked offstage earning hoots and hollers from her fellow classmates, I stood there shell shocked.
Just as fast as I gained (Y/N)'s trust I lost it just a fast.
Yet again, I missed the opportunity to stand up for her. I went home and couldn't find myself to think of anyone but (Y/N) and how stupid I was for not saying the things I should've said.
This part is ok, I will post the last part maybe tomorrow. I've been so busy because prom is this Saturday and I have so much things I need to get.
