I wake up and I get up from my bed. Then I take a shower.
I get dressed into a black shirt with blue jean shorts. I slip on these really cute white converse. It has a Chanel lipstick painted on it.
Then I grab my makeup bag and I do my makeup. I just put on a little bit of pink blush, black eyeliner, mascara and my pink lipstick. I redo my messy bun.
Suddenly Junior texted me.
J: Good morning Steph
S: Good morning dork ☺
Then I grab my pink backpack and I go downstairs for breakfast. I go to the kitchen.
"Good morning everybody!"
"Good morning!"
I sat down at the table. My mom served us pancakes with eggs and bacon.
I finished eating, then I hear a loud honk outside.
"It's probably Junior. Bye mom Bye dad."
I closed the front door behind me. Then I get inside Junior's car.
"Hey Steph!"
"Hey Junior!"
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yep I did and you?"
"Me too."
"That's good."
"I think im going to have a party this Friday."
"Really?"
"Yeah Because I'm going to be home alone until Sunday."
"That's cool. I get to see your house."
"Yeah."
We finally arrived to school. Junior parked near Desiree's pink convertible. We get out of the car and we walked towards the gym.
Junior tells me goodbye. I waited for Caro to arrive. Then I see Caro's older sister's car park in front of the gym.
"Bye Dani!" She slammed the car door.
"Hey Steph."
I say hi to Dani and she drives off.
"You look pretty today steph and I love your outfit and your shoes are awesome!"
"Thanks I love your outfit too."
"Aw! Thanks sis."
We started walking in the halls to get to algebra.
Then we see Desiree and Jazmine. I took out my two algebra books from my backpack.
Desiree and Jazmine passed by us and Desiree pushed me causing my books to fall.
"Great!"
"You bitch!" Caro yelled at Desiree.
"Oops! I didn't see you!" Desiree replied.
Desiree and Jazmine started laughing. They walked away. Caro chased after them.
Then, a really cute guy came up to me, "Can I help you carry your books?"
I looked up. He was the most gorgeous guy I had ever seen. He had short black hair and he had tattoos on his left and right arm. He's 5'9. He's slightly tan and he has beautiful hazel eyes.
He was wearing a gray v-neck shirt with some jeans and black sneakers. He looked cute!
"Uh yeah thanks. Stupid Mr. Cooper gives us two algebra books." I said, I felt my cheeks turning scarlet.
"Really? That sucks. Cause I have him right now."
"Really? I haven't seen you before."
'It's because today's my first day."
"It's the middle of the semester and it's your first day."
"Tell that to my parents."
"Well sorry I don't know your name."
"Derek, Derek Sanders."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Stephanie Marie Gonzalez. You can call me Steph. Everyone calls me that."
"Okay Steph. Nice to meet you."
"So you have Mr. Cooper right now?"
"Yeah. Trust me. He can be a royal pain."
He let out a laugh, "You're funny."
"Can I see your schedule?"
"Sure."
He gives me his schedule. I scanned at his schedule.
Algebra with Mr. Cooper
Lunch
Social Studies with Mrs. White
"It looks like you have algebra with me."
"Cool. You want to me to walk you to class?"
"Sure."
We started walking to algebra.
"You're a junior also?"
"Yeah I am."
"That's cool."
Then we finally arrived to algebra. Mr. Cooper was lecturing. We were probably late.
"Thanks for holding my books."
"No problem Steph."
We opened the door and Mr. Cooper saw us.
"Ms. Gonzalez, You're late."
"Sorry I was showing Derek around."
All the girls started drooling over Derek.
"Oh, Mr. Sanders, they told me that you were coming. Take a seat wherever you like."
Then, all the girls started telling him "You can sit here."
He ignored them and he sat in back of me. They got pissed. It was funny. He suddenly touched my shoulder letting me know that he sat behind me.
"Hey!"
I smiled and I said hi back to him.
"Now that you found a seat Mr. Sanders, come forward and tell us about yourself."
Derek got up from his desk and presented himself in front of the class.
"Who's that?" Kim asked.
"I met him on my way here."
"He's cute." Caro said.
"I met him while you left chasing after Desiree and Jazmine and he carried my books."
"Aw! How sweet!"
"Yeah he is."
Then everyone clapped.
"Well hope you enjoy this class. Thanks for sharing."
He passed by and sat back down at his desk.
"Alright class, Let's get back to work. Who would like to share their notes with Mr. Sanders?"
Then all the girls raised their hands and had their notes in their hands.
"Thanks girls but Steph is going to share her notes with me."
Then all the girls started to give me dirty looks.
I smiled, "here's my notes."
"Thanks."
Then Mr. Cooper gave us a handout to work on.
Fifteen minutes passed and the bell rang to go to lunch.
"Alright see you all tomorrow. Please work on your handout."
"Here Steph, I finished copying your notes."
"Thanks."
I put my notes and handout inside my backpack.
"We haven't met, I'm Kim and this is Caro."
"We're Steph's best friends."
"Cool I'm Derek."
"So are you guys ready to go to lunch?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm starving." Derek said.
Then we all started walking to the cafeteria. He started talking about where he's from and all.
We were waiting in line to get our trays. They were serving chicken nuggets. We sat at our table.
"So you're from LA?" I asked.
"Yeah. My dad got transferred here."
"That's cool." Kim said.
"Yup I was a quarterback at my other high school. So I want to tryout."
"So how's LA?" Caro asked.
"Hot but it's cool. I love it! But I moved down here."
"That sucks. I would like to go to LA." I said.
"We should go this summer. I have a beach house."
"Really? Yay!" I said.
"I'll invite you guys also."
"Really?" Kim asked.
"Yeah."
Kim and Caro were both excited.

Desiree and her groupie saw Derek in Steph's table.
"Who's that cute guy doing with those losers?"
"I don't know but he sure is hot." Jazmine said.
"I heard that he's new here." Chloe said.
"Really?" Desiree said.
"Yeah."
"Damn! He's so fucking cute! Where have you been all my life?"
"He's so cute." Chloe said.
"Hey! He's mine." Desiree said.
"Okay fine." Chloe pouted.
We were talking with Derek until Steven comes.
"Hey everyone! Hey baby!"
He gives Kim a kiss on the cheek.
"Who's this?"
"Steven this is Derek. He's new here." I said.
"Oh what's up man?"
"Not much."
They do a bro fist.
"So how you like it here?"
"Well it's a nice place but I miss my other high school back in LA."
"That sucks."
"Yup thanks to my father. He got transferred here."
"Hey Steven you think that Derek would still have a chance to tryout for football?"
"I think. I don't know. You should ask the coach. He'll let you probably. Besides we need another quarterback."
"Okay thanks."
Then the bell rang to go to our last class.
"So you want me to walk you to class?" Derek asked.
"Sure. But you're going to be late for social studies."
"Nah, it's my first day and besides I don't think the teacher would mind."
"Okay."
Steven took Kim to biology while I was with Derek and Caro walking to Home Economics. We finally got there. Caro went inside the class.
"So what kind of class is this?"
"It's Home Economics."
"It's so much better than Social Studies."
Then the late bell rang. Junior was walking until he saw Derek talking to Steph.
"You're late." I said jokingly.
"Nah, it's fine. I don't care." he smiled.
"Okay see ya later."
"Yeah later."
I smiled and I went inside the class. Junior was walking towards the class until Derek bumped into him by accident.
"Oh sorry man."
"It's fine."
I was talking with Caro about Derek.
"He's so cute."
"Yeah I know."
Then Junior came and sat down at our class table.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine."
Then Ms. Desjardin came.
"Hello class! I want you all to get started on baking your cake."
We went to our assigned cooking lab. We got started on baking our chocolate cake. We all helped on putting the ingredients together.
Then Caro took the cake out when it was done cooking.
When it was done, we all had one piece. Ms. Desjardin had one piece and she liked that we put chocolate chips in it so she gave us an A.
Caro and I washed the dishes while Junior dried them.
Five minutes passed, the bell rang.
Junior took off and I caught up with him.
"Hey! Wait up!"
He turns around.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"Nothing Steph, I'm going to be late for practice."
"Oh ok. I'll meet you outside like last time."
"Yeah sure bye."
Then he took off. Caro came running.
"Hey! Wait up woman!"
She was catching her breath. Poor Caro.
"What's wrong with Junior?"
"I don't know he just took off. He's been acting weird today."
"Yea I noticed."
"So you want to go to the library?"
"Yeah I want to check out other anime books."
"You read those two books in one day?"
"Yeah."
"That's awesome!"
We went walking to the library. I wonder why Junior started to act weird.
