Today is Thanksgiving and were spending it with my family. I am so happy I get to spend time with my family again and I am also happy that Max gets to spend time with them. Seeing my parents and siblings faces when Max came through the door was priceless. Although we are not related by blood I never once thought Max wasn't anything less a son to me. I am also excited to introduce Alexander to my family. Just like with Max I too see him as a son. I hope my family in a way could be an extended family for Alexander because I am all he has and I would love if he could open to my family.
When we got to my house I was surprised at the way my family acted towards Alexander. But I can't blame them because they don't trust Kevin and Tiffany also Alexander is a stranger to them. When I visit brought Max home my dad didn't even want to look at him. The start of our Thanksgiving was to an awkward start but after we came back from church everything was doing well. We all were sitting down enjoying our Thanksgiving meal talking and catching up when Tiffany fucked up everything.
"Well..." Tiffany said causing everyone to be quiet and look towards her.
"Since every one is sharing, I have something I would like to share." I look at Tiffany confused. What does she have to say? after all this time she hasn't a word and now she has something to say. I look over at Mr. Walker to see him looking as Tiffany also confused.
"Tiff---" Kevin tries to stop Tiffany from speaking, but she doesn't pay him any mind. Tiffany looks around the table and then sets her eyes on me with a smile.
Oh hell no.
"Kevin, the reason I haven't been coming home as much is that I have been seeing the doctor. I wanted to keep this a surprise until the wedding but seeing how much I have grown. I don't think I could keep this any longer. Baby--"
Please don't say it.
"Hold on---" It seems Mr. Walker knows that Tiffany is about to say, but it's too late.
"I'm pregnant."

At the moment time stopped. The truth I tried so hard deny came out. I don't know how to respond. I can't say I didn't see this coming knowing that they were together before I showed up.
Tiffany is pregnant.
Even knowing that Tiffany could be cheating on Kevin. It doesn't change the fact that Tiffany and Kevin could still be fucking. Hell, they are getting married. They even have a date set. Tiffany still wears the ring that Kevin promised to her.

I tried so hard to be patient. I thought if I just waited he'll come around. He'll choose me. Bu-But I can't wait anymore. I am sick and tired. I have been staying a house here my lover's fiance lives. I have been treaty like a slave and worked to the bone to please this man and where has that got me? I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
"This bitch." I hear Mr. Walker say. When I slowly open my eyes I see Tiffany on Kevin's lap kissing him. Seeing Tiffany lips on Kevin's set me off. I quickly took my cup of wine and poured it on top of their heads. Tiffany yelled and pulled back from the kiss. Both of them looked over at me in shock. I look at Kevin straight in his eyes and get up " I quit." I said leaving the dining room.
"What kind of foolery this?" I heard my father say.
As I am making my way towards the staris. I feel someone grab me by the arm. I turn around to see Kevin who has wine dripping down from his hair.
"Jackie--wait."
"Kevin. I am sick and tired. I am done." I said trying to push his hand off me, but he doesn't move.
"Jackie please this isn't---"
"What what can you say to get your way out of this Kevin? You heard her!" I yelled feeling my anger rising. "She's pregnant. So what you're just going to tell me to wait again?" I felt my eyes becoming watery and I quickly turned my head. "I wait. I wait and I wait. How much longer Kevin?" I said letting out a sigh.
"Ahh" I heard Kevin yell and suddenly he let go of my arm. I turned around to see my brother Jr. jumping on Kevin.
"You little bitch!" He yells as he gets on top of Kevin and starts to punch me.
"How dear you break my sister's heart! Do you have any idea how many sacrifices she had to make for your sorry ass!" He yells as he keeps beating on Kevin.
"Stop it!" Tiffany yells and tries to take my brother off him. I decided to stop my brother because right now he is red mode and there is no telling what he would do if Tiffany steps in.
"Jr.-Jr. alright, that's enough." I said pulling off Kevin. When I finally pull him off he is breathing heavily. I look down at Kevin who now has a bloody nose and a bruised up cheek.
"Kevin" Tiffany says coming to his side. "Oh my God, hold on ok. I'll call the police." She says going into her purse to pull out her phone.
"Tiff--"
"Shh, don't speak. I'll make sure these savages are locked up. My parents will take care of everything." Tiffany yells look over at everyone.
"Savages?" My mom said confused.
"Hold up did she just call us savages?" Esther said stepping up. Oh Lord, now it seems like my whole family wants to fight. As much as love them for having my back, I don't want to see a pregnant body on the living room floor.
"Guys, please," I said stopping them from going off. I looked down at Kevin who still on the floor in pain.
"Kevin. listen well because I won't say this again. I am done waiting for you. Enjoy your life with Tiffany because I no longer want to be apart of it."
"AND GET THE FUCK OUT!" My father said. "TAKE THAT BITCH WITH YOU AND EVER COME BACK TO THIS HOUSE! IF I EVERY CATCH YOUR ASS NEAR MY DAUGHTER. YOU'LL HACE TO SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR SON AND UNBORN CHILD."
"Dad!" I yelled in shocked.
"I meant he wouldn't see them. I wouldn't dear harm children you know that" My dad said. I let out another sigh. I'm getting a headache.
"Jack--ie." I look up to see Max how eyes are watery.
"I'm sorry Max---"
"You're leaving me again?" He says.
"No, I am leaving Kevin. Look, Max, I can't look at your right now. I need to be alone." I said.
"But--but you'll come back right?" He asks.
"I'm not going back to the house Max. I meant what I said. I am done. But I'll still support you."
"No, no" He said shaking his head. "If your not their I'm not going back either. I spent my whole life looking for you so we could all be a family again. Not this shit. No, I am not living in a place if you're not there." He says crossing his arms.
"Max, please don't do this. You need to be with your father. It's not like we won't see each other again." I said trying to get him to see reason.
"But---"
"Max for once can you just stop thinking about yourself. I AM DONE!" I yelled surprising myself. Max jumped at the sound of my voice. He doesn't say anything and runs out of the house.
"Max--" I tried to stop him but it's too late.
"I'll go look after him." Alexander says leaving the room. I turn to look at Kevin who is in Tiffany's arms.
"Get out," I said pointing towards the door. Tiffany and Kevin slowly get up and make their way towards the door.
"Jackie, you have my given up but I am not done. I will get you back."
"BOY WHAT DID WE JUST SAY! YOU WANNA ASS WHOPPED AGAIN!" Esther yelled still heated at what Tiffany said.
"Kevin lets go" Tiffany said hiding behind Kevin. As they both walk out the door Mr. Walker follows right behind them. I don't look at him as he leaves. Once the door is closed my legs give out and I fall onto the floor.
"Jackie!" Esther says coming towards me. Tears slowly fall down my face.
"Oh, honey," Esther says kneeling on the floor and pulling me into her arms. I cry into her chest and don't say anything. It's really over. Kevin and I are done. That fool still had the balls to tell me he's not over me. After every fucking thing, he put me through. I know he told me to trust him and I do. But this I can't get behind. I can no longer deny the truth. The ring, the wedding, and not a baby. Just what kind of fool does he take me for?
I don't know how long I stayed in my sister arms crying, but when I woke up I found myself in my room. I felt too sick and tried and I didn't want to get out bed.
"Woo" I looked over to see my dog Bobo with his head on my bed. Reached out to pet him. Letting out a sigh the memories of what happened comes back and I feel my body curl up into a ball. I pull the covers over my head.
"I hate you, Kevin." I whisper to myself.

It's been a week since the Thanksgiving dinner and I have not once come out of my room unless to shower since that day. I decided to take a walk with Bobo because taking at home keeps reminding me of that day. I am wearing a back sweater with a long black cardigan and black Adidas sweatpants. As I take a seat the park bench I notice I am alone. It is a Tuesday morning and everyone is either at work or at school. Also it very cold today. As a cold breeze passes by I pull the scarf that's around my neck a higher. As I am enjoying the peace and quite someone comes to sit next to me. When I turn to look at the person its someone I never thought I would see anytime soon.
"Please just listen." Said Kevin who is dressed in all black. He is wearing a long black coat with black gloves and a black hat.
"How did you find me?" I said under my breath trying to calm myself.
"Let's say someone told me." He said.
"So you've been watching me?" I asked.
"Well until I stop the person who is after us even if you hate me. I will not stop protecting you." He says.
"I can protect myself. I have been doing that for years now." I said.
"Jackie." There is a long pause.
"I meant what I said." I said.
"And so did I." Kevin said. "I am still fighting for us. I have a plan--"
"Did that plan involve Tiffany carrying your baby?" I asked.
"No," Kevin says said looking down.
"And how you do know if it's even my baby?" Ask Kevin. I smiled. I know the giving the information Mr. Walker gave to me that there could be a possibility that the child could not be his. But I want Kevin to come to his own truth. I am sure he knows where Tiffany goes off to every day. I just want him to admit. And to choose me. If he comes clean and stops pretending not to know then I'll know that we still have a chance.
"So what are you implying?" I asked waiting for his answer. When Kevin wouldn't answer I let out a sigh and rolled my eyes.
"Kevin. Let's be honest. You never did see a future for us. Since the day I saw you about to get married on the beach we lost our chances." I said.
"That was before I found out you were alive. Jackie please--" He stops to turn towards me and takes my hand. "You got to believe me. I love you and I still do. I just need you too--"
"Again with the fucking plan!" I yelled turning to face him. "How much longer do I have to wait for Kevin? until Tiffany has your baby? don't you see Kevin you moved on the moment you gave her that ring." I push his hands off me. "I was just to blind to see realize that."
"H-how can I make this better? what can I do for you to come back?" He says.
"Comeback to where? to being your fucking maid? No, Kevin, that's not fair. I am tired!" I said. "Can't me go?" I said.
"You mean like how you left me?" Kevin said sitting back.
"After everything we have been through your just going to give up? just like that?" He says.
"I am not giving up. I am keeping the promise I made to you in that letter. I do want you to be happy Kevin. And Tiffany is giving you something that I can no longer give you."
"And what it's that?" He asked.
"A chance to start over. A chance to be a real father." I said. "So please Kevin, I love and I will always support Max and Alexander. Go be the man I love to Tiffany."
