Alexis's pov
"Well thanks for looking..." I sighed deeply and hung up
"Who was that Baby girl?" I jumped and turned looking at Harry as he walked to me I looked down
"Sasha... I was checking to know if she's seen Nuk Nuk or the guy that took him" it's been almost a month I know at this rate the likely hood of him being alive and well is not high
"Alexis" he started but just shook his head he was thinking the same thing as me I know it he came behind me and hugged me "I love you" he kissed my neck
"I love you too" I smiled weakly then jumped up making his break away from me unfortunately "Wait what time is it?"
"7:30" he answered I gasped
"I gotta be at work by 8" I took off I heard him following after
"I don't have to go to the den today my father is training another wolf to prep for when we have pups..." he trailed off
"Lucky you" I grumbled and quickly primed my eyes doing natural looking brown shades of eyeshadow
"C-can I come with you to work?" I looked at him and his little pleading puppy face matched his whiny tone
"Harry I dunno if you'd really want to I work in a makeup store" I know he knows next to nothing about makeup
"B-but I wanna be with you" god that face is killing me I faced the mirror to try and ignore him but he continued to whine like a puppy I sighed deeply
"Okay! Okay fine get clothes on" I rushed him finishing my makeup I ran and pulled on a plain v-neck and jeans pulling him out the door with me
We got in the car and I started rushing to the mall
We pulled in with a minutes to go before 8 I jogged to the store and Harry was behind me both of our phones and my purse in his hands I clocked in and huffed catching my breath I laughed I know I was being overly dramatic but I thought I was gunna be late and I pulled up just in time I wasn't gunna be late then
I walked to my corner of the store by the waxing station/makeover station Harry walked over I set my stuff in the biggest drawer of the table and looked at Harry who was looking around
"It's bright in here" he commented
"Bright so you can see shimmers in the shadows" I shrugged
He sniffed the air and shook his head "mmm perfumes" he batted his nose lightly just how a dog would I smiled
"Yeah I hate them too" he nodded and looked at the table
"Smells like honey" I nodded
"We use a honey based wax" his eyes lit up
"The thing you do? Here" he pointed to his upper lip I blushed I had my own wax kit at home and he'd caught me waxing my face a few times
"Yes" he walked to an aisle and picked up an eyeliner he looked at it and put it down then picked up a Too Faced chocolate palette he hummed
"Why is there chocolate in here?" I walked over and took it from him
"That's not to eat it's got coco powder in it to make it smell like that" I explained he stared
"Why put food in it if you can't eat it?" He pouted
I shrugged "for the smell I suppose" I put it back he looked around and saw a lipstick he touched it and looked at his finger "I like when you wear these but it doesn't smell like yours"
"That's because I don't use that brand the brand I use smells like vanilla" I grabbed a wipe and wiped his finger clean
He looked around he saw the highlighter and tilted his head he rubbed it with his finger and examined in his finger after he sniffed it
"Excuse me Miss" I spun around to a girl
"How can I help you?"
"I'd like to set up an appointment for a wax" she sounded unsure
"Oh okay I can do that" I nodded and pulled out a planner and grabbed a pen "what day and what time?"
"Tuesday at 3pm" I nodded and filled it in
"Can I have a phone number and name?" I glanced up and gasped seeing Harry was just rubbing the makeup on his shirt to clean his hand "here I'm sorry give me a second can you fill those in please?" I passed her the pen and ran to Harry
"What are you doing?" I whisper yelled grabbing his shadow stained hand and wiping it
"Touching" he mumbled confused why I was upset I groaned he didn't know better I guess
"Don't get it on your clothes okay? Some stuff is hard to get out" I left him a clean wipe to hold "wipe your fingers on this" I ran back to the customer
"sorry about that" I apologized smiling she just smiled "well that's it thank you I'll see you Tuesday"
She went passed me to the aisles
I sat down then realized
I don't see Harry
I stood up and looked around he's taller than the aisles why couldn't I see him
I whistled, I whistled like I'd whistle for a dog I sighed when he popped up from the farthest aisle and looked at me he walked back and as he got to me I crossed my arms so he did the same just copying me "you called for me?" He questioned
I nodded "yeah don't wonder off Harry stay where I can see you okay?" He frowned deeply
"Why? I wanna look" I shook my head
"No definitely not look at you you've already made a mess of yourself" I pointed to his multi colored shimmer smear covered tee shirt
He looked down and shrugged "you can fix it" he smiled
"Even so it doesn't mean I want you intentionally doing it just because I can fix it" I sighed deeply "please just stay where I can see you"
I checked the time "I've got an appointment now she'll be in soon if I find out you've gone out of my sight you are sleeping on the sofa"
He whined "no Alexis nooooo I'm good boy" he grabbed my hand putting it on his head wanting me to pet him I rolled my eyes a smile cracking my face
"You need a leash Baby" I kissed him
He smiled still holding my hand on his head "oh I'd like that I want it" he nodded "that means I have to be close to you and I love that" his eyes were filled with excitement
"I'll look into getting one" I indulged and saw someone waiting I took my hand back making Harry groan
"Hi are you here for a makeup appointment?" She nodded "lovely sit down" I glared at Harry and mouthed 'Stay Put'
"I'm looking for a smoky eye" I nodded and followed her instructions I started and glanced up at Harry who was watching shifting from side to side playing with the end of his shirt
He acts like such an awkward puppy sometimes instead of the scary ass wolf he really is
He's so adorable
