Tord's P.O.V
My eyes landed on a wet box, I swear to satan I just heard it meow. When I heard a faint meow again I peeked inside.
A dark gray and black cat was laying on the middle. It was clearly shaking. I quickly took it in my arms and hold my umbrella properly above us.
I grab my phone in my pocket and call Edd. Not even a second he answered..
"Oh! Tord! What's up--"
"Sorry Edd. I can't go to the party. Something urgent happened."
"Oh uhh.. okay?"
With that I hung up and hold the cat fairly tight to give it warmth. It seems that it's shaking was calming down.
"Let's get you patch up." I say before walking to my apartment. I opened the door and shutting it behind me.
I quickly ran over to my bedroom and lay the cat on my bed. I took off my eye patch, putting it on the table next to my bed and then look down at the cat,
"Water.. and food." I mumble to myself before running to the kitchen and prepare the cat's goods. Realizing that I don't have any cat food. Well I never had a cat in the first place.
I opened my fridge and then the shelves to see if there was anything for the cat to eat and soon then decided to just run to the closest vet to get some.
I raced back to my room and lay a glass of water beside the cat. Then I lay a blanket on it. I stared down at it, "damn.. I suck at this.." I mumble to myself as I scratch my scarred cheek and rub my one blind eye.
"Wait.. Edd has a cat. Edd should know where the closest Vet is.." with that I grabbed my phone and called Edd again.
"Tord?"
"Edd where is the closest Vet by my place?"
"What? Why--"
"Just answer!"
"About 15 blocks away from your apartment, also if it's okay get ringo some--"
"Got it."
I hung up and walk over to the cat. Petting it's head gently, "don't worry.. I'll buy you something to eat." I say before running out of my apartment without an umbrella.
Halfway across my apartment I realized... I forgot something..
"FUCK MY EYE PATCH!!" I yelled making the people all around me to jolt up in surprise. I couldn't care less..
"Oh fuck it." I mumble and raced to the Vet. When I got there I was greeted by a nice old lady.
"What can I get you, sweety?" She asked as she grabs her cane by the counter. I went over to her as I wipe my face dry, "I found this cat on a box on the streets. It seemed cold so I took it in but I don't have any cat food for it to eat." I explained while she nodded while listening.
I looked around and found out that there was literally no one in the Vet.
She then went over to an shelf, "hmm.. is this cat.. by any chance color gray?" She asked interrupting me when I was pacing back and forth worriedly.
"Y-yes. With black stripes!" I replied, she seemed to pause and then she smiled at me. Soon she walks back to me carrying a bag of cat goods.
"Do you have a girlfriend, sweety?" She asked while smiling sweetly to me. She puts the cat goods in the bag while waiting for my answer. I gently cupped my scarred cheek,
"No. I'm not into.. women, ma'am." I replied feeling quite embarrassed of myself, she nodded and hummed in response. I knew I would be yelling at this person right now if she hadn't been an old lady for butting into my life.
But for some reason... I felt like I could trust her.
"Oh wait. I might be adding some other cat... stuff too.." I say to her and walk over to a couple of shelves and came back with a kitty bed, food bowl and a blue collar in my hand.
"Not into women? Hehe.. teenagers this days. So interesting.. may I asked what happened to your eye and cheek?"
The question caught me off guard, making me stay quiet and think..
She continued to scan the other stuff I brought as she waited. I clench my fists and forced a smile,
"It's just some.. experiment that exploded.. killing both of my parents." I replied while looking down sadly.
"You know.. faking a smile won't heal a broken heart." The old lady says as she hands me the bag of the cat goods I bought. It took me a minute to realize that I have to pay.
I jolted up in realization and quickly took out my pocket, but suddenly a hand rested on top of mine. I looked up and saw the old lady smiling.
"No need to pay, Sweety."

The rain was still pouring as hard as ever. It seemed like it wasn't stopping soon. But I didn't care being rained upon because something more confusing is stuck in my head.
"What?" I asked as I looked up to the old lady. She let out a faint giggle,
"Surprised? Well.. don't be, Sweety. There's a bigger surprise for you waiting in your room."
I paused in my tracks.. realizing I am standing in front of my apartment. I walk to the door, unlocking it.
"What does she mean by that.." I mumbled to myself. I open the door and close it behind me.
"Probably better to just forget about it.." I say, taking off my red converse and stepping inside. I quickly walk to my room but I pause when I heard faint voices inside,
"Looks like I've found my new owner. All I have to do is to protect him at any costs, right?"
"Yes! I'm happy for you Tommy! Cherish your new owner, okay? I gotta hang up now! Good luck!"
"Got it."
As soon as I heard a beeping sound I bursted inside my room.
Instead of seeing a cat laying on my bed. There sat a naked Boy.. around my age. He had a brown spiky hair with gray cat ears on the side. A gray tail attached on his butt and scratches everywhere on his body.
He had a device on the bed with him. That I was sure that wasn't there before..
My gaze soon traced up to his face. He had a soft looking lips, cute cat whiskers and an eye that is as black as voids...
I stepped back as the bag I was holding fell down on the floor making a huge thud. I raised my hand up and pointed at the guy..
"W-who are you?!" I asked, the guy let out a nervous chuckle,
"Hey?"
