I slowly opened my eyes when I suddenly heard my phone alarm.
I searched for my phone but I could not find it under my pillows.
But what kind of dream was that?
Jungri.. Is she alright?
I sat up and found my phone on the bedside table. Wait. This is not my bedroom.
I looked around, trying to familiarize the room. This is not my room. This was OUR room. Kihyun and I.
But where is he?
I snoozed the alarm and checked the time on my phone.
7:41pm.
I slept for three hours.
Damn.
I feel so stressed.
"You awake?" I looked up and saw Kihyun by the doorway of the bedroom.
"Eo. I'm sorry I slept too much."
"Don't worry about that. Come downstairs. I prepared dinner."
"Okay. I'll be right there."
Before I stood up, I didn't realize that I spaced out. I stared blankly at the floor before I could even wear my slippers.
Kihyun sat beside me and caressed my back.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I think I had a bad dream. It was unclear but I feel uneasy."
"Do you remember any fragments of your dream?"
"I think it was about Jungri. I just don't know why I suddenly dreamt of her."
"Would you like to check on her? Do you want me to call her right now?"
I nodded.
"Okay. Just a moment." Kihyun then took out his phone from his pocket and called Jungri. "It's ringing but she's not answering."
"Really? Maybe I should call either Wonho or Hyungwon oppa." I said.
I quickly grabbed my phone and called Wonho oppa.
"Yoboseyo? Oppa? It's me, Sohee."
"Sohee.. How are you doing?"
"I'm fine." Oppa sounded weak. "Where are you right now?"
"I'm at home."
"Is Jungri with you? Is she okay?"
Oppa did not answer immediately.
"Yoboseyo? Oppa?"
"She's fine. Is Kihyun with you?"
"That's good to hear. Yes, he's with me.Why?"
"Nothing. Get some rest, okay? I'll call you back tomorrow. Goodnight."
"Ne, oppa. Goodnight."
"So how is she?" Kihyun asked after I stopped the call.
"He said she's fine."
"That's good then. Now let's eat before the food gets cold."
"Arasseo. I'll be right downstairs after I fix myself."
"Alright."
Although Wonho oppa confirmed that Jungri was fine, I still cannot shake the feeling of uneasiness.
I better go and see her myself.
I'm worried about her.
I went downstairs and ate dinner with Kihyun.
I told him that I want to visit Jungri back at home tomorrow morning. He agreed and said that he'll come with me.

The next day, Kihyun and I left early.
While on our way, we decided to buy cake for them.
"Hyungwon oppa will seriously like this. It's his favorite." I said happily.
"He doesn't seem someone who likes cake though."
"Many people mistake him as a strict and unsociable guy but deep inside he's a softy."
"Especially when it comes to you."
"It's because he was raised by a wonderful family." I said.
I could not explain it in words but I really feel so proud meeting the people around me right now. They never left me alone. I felt bad for running away before. It was so cowardly of me.
When we arrived at home, I happily greeted eomma and appa. They also welcomed me warmly. I hughed both eomma and appa as soon as I saw them.
"I missed you both." I said.
"We missed you too." Eomma said.
"Good to see you again, Kihyun." Appa said.
"Good to see you again too, Mr. and Mrs. Kim." Kihyun replied.
"I brought cake!" I exclaimed excitedly.
Eomma took it from me and took a peek inside.
"Hyungwon will seriously love this." She said.
"He will." I smiled. "But where are they?"
Eomma looked at appa worriedly. Their expressions suddenly changed.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Sohee.." Hyungwon oppa suddenly appeared and smiled at me. But that smile.. something's wrong.
"Oppa.."
"Hyungwon-ah," Eomma signaled him with her eyes. Something's really wrong. I wonder what..
"Good to see you again!" Hyungwon oppa suddenly changed his expression. He is trying to keep something from me. This is bothering me.
"I missed you, oppa!" I went and hugged him.
"Where's Wonho oppa and Jungri?" I asked.
"They're not here." Hyungwon oppa said.
"Where are they?"
"Actually, there is something that we would like to tell you. Will that be okay if I talk with you privately?" Hyungwon oppa said.
"Sure." I knew it. Something is not right in here.
"We will take care of Kihyun while you two have your time to talk, okay?" Eomma said.
"Arasseoyo, eomma." I smiled. I then looked at Kihyun and he signaled me that he will be fine.
Hyungwon oppa and I then went to his office stationed at home.
"Would you like some tea?" He asked.
"No, thanks. I already had one this morning. But thank you for asking, oppa."
"Okay. Have a seat."
I sat down in the couch and he sat beside me.
"So what is it?" I asked.
He sighed.
"The thing is.." He paused before he continued. "we already found out who initiated your abduction and sent the photos around your company."
My eyes widened.
"Really?! Who?! I must clear my name. I will have that person go to jail!" Suddenly, anger surrounded me.
It brought back the memories I had when I was abducted. I was so scared and helpless.
"And it's someone we know."
"S-Someone we know?"
"Yes."
I paused for a while.
Who..?
"Don't tell me it's..?!" I exclaimed.
Jungri?!
"Is it Jungri?!"
Hyungwon oppa hesitantly nodded his head.
"W-Where is she?"
"She is with Wonho right now. She is about to turn herself in after Wonho convinced her."
I felt my body go weak.
Although she did hate me, I never thought she would go to that extent just to hurt me.
I feel betrayed by my own self. I trusted her too much and I didn't even think of the possiblities. I expected more about her, that we will be fine one day. But I guess I was wrong.
She hate me that much.
I don't even know if I can forgive her now.
It was such a shame that we can never be good as sisters.
I feel upset.
And angry.
"Oppa, can we go to them right now?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I want to talk to her."
Hyungwon oppa sighed.
"Arasseo."
We went down to where Kihyun and our parents are.
"I have to go." I said.
"I know. They already told me. Go and talk to her." He held my cheek and smiled.
"You both take care." Eomma said.
"We'll leave now." Hyungwon oppa said before I followed him out.
He drove all the way to the precint. We didn't talk while we were in the car. I just feel angry and curious as to why she could reach to that extent.
When we arrived, we saw Wonho oppa standing by the doorway of one of the rooms in the precint.
"Hyung.." Hyungwon called out. Wonho oppa then turned around and went to us.
"You came." He said.
"Oppa already told me everything. Where is she?" I asked.
"She's being interrogated inside."
"I want to talk to her."
"She will be done soon."
I looked down and sighed. Wonho oppa then moved closer and hugged me tight.
I rested my cheek on his chest as he wrapped me around his arms.
"Mianhae." He said.
"Why are you sorry? You did nothing wrong."
"It's because I considered to protect Jungri when I found out."
"It's okay, oppa. I understand since she is your sister."
"But you are our sister too. Always remember that." He added.
"Komawo, oppa."
We stayed outside the interrogation room and waited for another half an hour. Hyungwon oppa received a call from Kihyun while we are waiting. He asked if how are things going.
I can understand that he didn't call me since he might have thought that I am talking to Jungri.
After half an hour, Jungri walked out of the interrogation room.
Our eyes met but she suddenly looked away.
I looked at her face, down to her wrists, with the handcuffs on.
"Excuse me, officer. I don't think you need to put a handcuff to my sister." Wonho oppa said.
"It's for reassurance that she won't run away." The officer answered.
"She is--"
"It's okay, oppa. I'm fine with it." Jungri smiled half-heartedly.
"But I feel uncomfortable seeing you that way. I can't bear to look at my family member with the handcuffs on."
"Officer, I'm Lawyer Chae." Hyungwon oppa handed his business card. "Please take off the handcuffs. I assure you she won't run away."
While they negotiate about the handcuffs, I just stood there, spectating the whole scene. Jungri never spared a glance on me. She just kept on looking down.
After sighing, the officer finally agreed to take the handcuffs off. He then led us to a private room where we can talk.
"Oppa-deul, I want to speak with her alone." I said.
"Arasseo."
I then entered the room where Jungri is sitting on the other side of the table.
I slowly sat down on the chair infront of her.
We were silent for a few minutes.
"Speak. Let's get over this one." She said.
I scoffed.
"Can you explain why you have to send some goons to me?"
"Because I want you to suffer."
"Why?"
"Because I hate you."
"Why? You got what you want. You have your life as a Kim. What else do you need from me?"
"Need? I need you to disappear. Even though I am with them, all their attention and thinking are on you. I feel like a stranger in that house."
"That's not true. They all love you."
"Love me? Okay. Let's say they do love me. But the love they have for me is not the same as the love they give you."
"You know what, I really, really hate you right now. I am so angry that I wanted to throw you in the cells myself. But you know what's stopping me from being so angry at you? It's my family. Your family."
"Don't act like you're the victim here. Coz it's supposed to be me."

"Damn you! Don't give me that crap!" I slammed both of my hands on the table as I stood up. My chair fell down and then I heard somebody rush inside the room from behind me.
Jungri's eyes widened in shock.
"You don't know how much I struggled. You don't know how much I suffered. You don't know me so don't act like a bitch. I really, really wanted to say this to you. You're weak! You don't deserve what you have. How can you even say that they don't love you when you yourself doesn't make any effort to make them love you? Do you remember being nice to them? Showing them that you are happy to be a part of their family? No. Coz all you do is spend all the money that they give you and complain! So don't give me shit about how I am acting like a victim here because you are useless. Get that?!"
My heart is rapidly beating.
I lost it.
I am so done with her.
She is so stubborn.
"You know what? You can just stay as you are. Don't change." I said out of sarcasm. "So you could live behind those cells comfortably. That's what you want, right? You don't care about the consequences so you just do what you want."
She just sat there, looking shocked.
I couldn't stop myself from saying all those things to her. And I don't regret it.
"But remember this," I leaned closer to her, "they wouldn't have accepted you if they didn't want you. I gave to you what's supposed to be yours. You think your brothers here doesn't care about you a little bit? Do you think they would waste their time on you like this? Please think. Realize how much love you're wasting. You don't deserve them if you're gonna continue how you are right now."
I think I'm losing it.
I just have to say everything I have to say. This could lighten up my heart. I need her to change, although I still hate her.
I then turned around and headed to go out of the room.
"So.. hee.."
"Ssss.."
"So.. So.."
I passed by Wonho oppa, Hyungwon oppa, and Kihyun. I heard them speak but I continued to walk out.
I need to breathe out.
I need some fresh air.
Kihyun pov
I decided to follow them here in the precint but I didn't know that I will be able to witness for the first time how Sohee gets so angry.
I got scared when she said some bad words and yelled on Jungri. It must be how it's like to get on her nerves.
I gulped.
I better be careful in the future not to trigger her anger.
But what if she's pregnant?
They said if women are pregnant, they get mood swings too like how they have their period. I better find ways to make ger feel better on those times.
"Kihyun.. Ya, Yoo Kihyun!"
Hyungwon tapped my back. Was I daydreaming??
"N-Ne? Mian." I snapped back to my senses.
"You better go to Sohee. We will stay here and talk to Jungri." He said.
"A-Arasseo." I then walked out and followed Sohee.
Damn, I feel like I'm crazy for thinking about those things while we are on this situation. How can I even think about Sohee's pregnancy at times like this?!
I shook my head and snapped out of that mini daydream.
I then found Sohee sitting in the staircase outside the police station.
I bought drinks from the vending machine and sat beside her. I handed her the banana milk that she likes and waited for a few minutes before I talked to her.
"So--"
"I feel a lot better now." She suddenly said. That startled me for a bit.
"I-I see. So what are you planning to do now?"
"I don't wanna see her for now. I'll just talk to her again if she realizes her wrong doings."
"I understand. I have never seen you that angry before. So would you like a hug?" I smiled at her.
She scoffed.
"Ya, if you cheat on me even once, I will really kill you. You will see that angry face again."
I gulped.
It's not like I have plans to cheat, but she is so scary. I don't want to see that side of hers again.
"I will never cheat on you. Come here." I then wrapped her around my arms. She then rested her head on my shoulders.
I'm glad that she feels a lot better now. But I wish they will all get along soon.
So I could do my thing.
