Weeks passed since their wedding. Everybody in the mansion had been busy for a party which would be held on Christmas day and when Baekhyun asked what the party was about, Chanyeol said it marked 20th years anniversary of Phoenix's existence.
It was just Baekhyun felt that way or Chanyeol really did not act like a beloved husband to him. After their wedding on Chanyeol's birthday, the taller had to follow Mr. Hong's business trip to Japan so thus their honeymoon was cancelled.
Lonely days continued for Baekhyun until Chanyeol came back. However, unexpectedly instead of lovey dovey actions between usual newlyweds, Chanyeol acted too calm to sleep beside him, no touch no hug no sex.
It had been a pain in the heart and Baekhyun was too embarrassed to tell Kyungsoo about it because whenever he saw Kyungsoo, Jongin was beside him.
"Kyungsoo said you didn't eat lunch."
Chanyeol, who returned the headquarter after the long day, asked Baekhyun.
"No appetite."
He answered without moving a bit from his position of lying on the bed with his back to Chanyeol.
"Dinner is ready."
"I don't want to eat."
Baekhyun knew Chanyeol hesitated for a while but when he left without asking for the second time, a tear ran down from the doctor's eye. The married life he expected was way too different from current one.
"We haven't filled the official marriage yet..."
He gave up his dream and his job for this one man but why wasn't he the first priority for him?
He did not know.
He wanted to give up everything.

A simple white turtle neck sweater made Baekhyun look cuter than all the people at the party who were wearing branded dresses and suits. Baekhyun never knew that an anniversary party of a gang would be that grand so he just wore casual clothes. Chanyeol was also stunning in black suit.
"Why didn't anyone tell me to wear formal clothes?"
Baekhyun murmured alone and grabbed a drink from the waiter. It seemed to be alcohol and he drank it one shot.
"Baekhyun hyung nim."
No one called him like that so Baekhyun widened his eyes and looked around to see the kind boy who saved him from evil Park Jihoon.
"Oh, you!"
"Do you remember me?"
"Of course. How can I forget you? By the way, what is your name?"
"I am Guanlin, I am still a junior member so you might not see me often in the mansion."
"Kind hearted boy has a great face and a great name."
Baekhyun threw a joke to make himself feel comfortable around Guanlin and grabbed another drink.
"Everyone here except me is wearing formally."
Baekhyun said after scanning Guanlin's reddish brown suit with the white underneath shirt.
"I was also about to wear casually but Jihoon hyung told me to wear formally."
"At least, someone told you."
After the third drink, Baekhyun was getting drunk a little. The younger felt the tension in Baekhyun's words so he eyed around to look for Beta but unfortunately, Chanyeol was not in the crowd.
"My beloved husband did not even tell me what to wear for the party. He completely forgot about me."
The fifth drink and Guanlin's eyes widened when he noticed Baekhyun was going to be out of control in any second.
"Beta, beta."
He nervously whispered while looking around but still, Chanyeol was nowhere to be found.
"Am I not sexy?"
"Huh?"
Baekhyun suddenly turned him around to face him and asked, grabbing his suit collar. The latter gulped his saliva nervously and nodded his head slowly with a forced smile.
"My ass is nice, right?"
"Ah, maybe..?"
"Maybe?! Don't you know it, Park Chanyeol!"
Jesus, help me!
Guanlin was grabbed by the collar and he dared not react because Baekhyun was the beta's partner.
"Aren't my fingers pretty?"
Baekhyun suddenly let go of him and showed his fingers in front of his face.
"Yes, they are."
"Baekhyunee."
Guanlin forced a smile at Beta when he finally appeared from somewhere to pick his drunk Baekhyun.
"Shall I give you a hand job here?"
Guanlin's eyes widened at Baekhyun's words and immediately looked away because Chanyeol's stare was too strong for him to look back.
"Then, excuse me."
The underage boy ran away from his sight and Chanyeol looked at the drunk Baekhyun in his hands. Jealousy was its finest and Chanyeol wanted to explode right here right now, but Baekhyun was half asleep.
"Park Chanyeol..."
Baekhyun talked in his half sleep.
"Yes?" Chanyeol replied while sitting on the nearest chair then put Baekhyun to sit on his lap, lean on his shoulder.
"You.. do you really love me?"
Chanyeol shockingly stared at the boy who was sleep talking with his eyes closed.
"Why do you ask? Of course I do."
"I want you to hug me, touch me, kiss me, ask me patiently when I don't eat meals, wake me up in the mornings and make love to me at nights...."
Chanyeol brushed the sleeping beauty's cheek softly.
"How can I know these when you don't tell me?"
"You don't love me."
"Don't say it again. I really love you. I love you so much."
"So.. when did you fall for me?"
Baekhyun's pouty lips were testing Chanyeol's patience and the taller stole a peck quickly.
"I don't know. Maybe when you came to change the IV needle, or when you were unconscious because of me, or when you drowned, at the wedding, or in the bed. So, stop acting drunk and open your eyes."
Chanyeol kissed him each time he mentioned a time and Baekhyun opened his eyes, put his arms around the taller's neck and now he was like a baby in Chanyeol's embrace. Baekhyun looked around and caught everyone staring at them.
"Oh my god."
He hid his face in Chanyeol's shoulder.
"This is a command as a Beta, anyone who opens his eyes till I tell you to do so will be punished."
Chanyeol said and the gang obeyed him well.
"Look at me baby. I don't know when I started falling for you but," he cupped Baekhyun's face and kissed the lips softly.
"What I want for Christmas is you."
