I walked into the parking lot which was as usual,with people hanging out,by their cars,chatting and gossiping about probably something stupid.
Most of them were rich spoilt brats,with a snobbish attitude,and to be honest, i don't usually speak to many people,so i don't really know,if they're still their stuck up selves if you enter through their walls.it's always just my brother and liliana.
Now both of them have a personality entirely opposite to mine.
I am more of a staying home person,while they are very outgoing ones, i am a kind of reserved person and don't really speak much,and they,well,just hope that you find a shut up button.
But they are the only people that i talk to.
As i walked further towards the building,through the parking area,i saw her standing beside some guy.
As if sensing my gaze she looked my way,then immediately averted her gaze away from me.
Sighing i stuffed my hand in pocket the other adjusting the strap of the bag,and went to the main building,
It isn't the first time this has happened,and it's quite funny to think that the two people who used to spend most of the time together,doesn't even pass a smile,now.
Life changes,
Mine did.
As i reached the locker,i entered my combination and opened it,to dump my books in,leaving maths,which is the first class i have.
"Hey,li"someone said as i was closing the locker,turning around i came face to face with a pretty looking girl,with pale skin and strawberry blonde hairs,known as liliana,who miraculously happens to be my friend.
"Hey you"i smiled replying back.
"Well,i was asking if....ugh!this is so embarrassing"
"Let me guess,you didn't do maths homework again?"
"Uh,yeah...you see i was pretty busy-"
"-being drunk and dancing with a random stranger?"i asked,with a smile playing on my face.
"You're so cruel li"
"Ya right"i rolled my eyes,it was sunday yesterday,so after trying to pursue me to go to a party with her for an hour,she finally left angry,and probably would've returned after 12.
"Well,i was kidding,here."i said handing her the homework.
"Aww,thanks girl,i love you"
"Don't you butter me"i rolled my eyes again.
"Whatever,let's get going"
I nodded and we left for our first class.
As we reached the room,struggling through the sea of people,we walked in and,sat on our regular seat.
"So,have you heard about these really hot,new boys?"
"No"
"Well,you really should"
"Nope,m good"
"Oh c'mon li,live a little"she said while copying the homework in illegible writing.
"I've lived enough"
"Yeah,and you are sounding like my granny"
"Well,m honoured to be compared to your granny"
"You're-"
"Morning class"she was cut off,when mr.fretz entered the class.
"So today,we'll be learning more about algebra....."and he started the lecture,and started scribbling some numbers and alphabets on the white board,which made no sense to me,because let's be honest,
Hadley plus maths equals total disaster.
Still,i tried very hard to get the shit written in front of me inside my brain,and finally when it did,someone barged into the room,distracting me
This made the whole room including,mr.fretz,and excluding me,who was still trying to solve the first sum with which the class started, to turn to those stupid attention seekers.
"They were the ones i was talking about"lia nudged me,
I finally teared my concentration from my notebook and looked up to find two boys standing at the door with smirks on their faces.
Ok they're stupid.
Maybe hot or whatever these people say to handsome boys,
But stupid.
"You know you almost missed a whole period"he said looking up from under his glasses.
"Sorry,sir,but we aren't girl"one of the boy with golden blonde hairs said scratching his neck.
I am not liking them,but at his comment the class started to laugh.
Seriously?i didn't saw anything worth laughing in that.
"I am not even sorry,we got lost in this stupid building,and idk what type of sick students you guys teach here,they don't even know the directions"the other boy with jet black hairs,spatted in frustration.
Cool buddy,you come to a new school,and instead of being humble,you be a jerk.
I can totally see you making loads of friends here.
I rolled my eyes at how rude and egoistical he is.
"Well,mr.lockwood and mr.tyson,we are very sorry for the poor service we provided,but i am afraid,if you are late again,i'll have to sign a detention slip"mr.fretz said curtly,gritting his teeth.
"Yeah,as if i care"the jerk guy muttered as he,along with the blonde boy,made their way towards the back of the class,occupying an empty seat.
Then soon after the class was dismissed and we were out in the crowded halls again.
"So li,did you now met those new guys?"lia asked as we walked like turtles to our next class,
"Yeah,and i hope i never see then again"
"Seriously?are you allergic to boy?"
"Seriously?can you just get over your obsession with boys?"i mocked her.
"Whatever,see ya later"she said rolling her eyes as she made her way to her next class as i went towards english.
I took my usual seat,which was by the window in the far corner of the room.
I then took out my copy of Romeo and juliet and started going through the lines.
I was mid way of revising as someone dumped their things on the table very loudly.
Geez,do all the people threw their manners out of the window?
I looked up from the book to come face to face with the black haired guy,from maths.
This time i had an opportunity to take a close look of his face.
He was,i would admit,handsome,with the perfect sharp jawline,and grassy green eyes.
His hairs were all messy and he looked really stressed out and irritated.
I wonder what would've happened to make him frustrated in the second hour itself.
"Are you done staring?"he asked in a hoarse deep voice.
Rolling my eyes,i returned to my book,not wanting to talk to him.
I was quietly revising my work when the book was snatched from front of me.
My head automatically snapped to mr.frustrated guy.
"That's my book"i said as i saw him holding my book.
"Yeah so?"
"So,give it back,and read from your own"
"Library doesn't have one more copy and they said i'll have to wait till tomorrow"
"That's not my concern,give it back"i said trying to snatch the book from him.
"Then how am i supposed to study?"
"As if you're going to"i mumbled to myself rolling my eyes.
"What's your problem nerd?just share the book.what's the big deal about it?"
"Shut up"i said leaning back in my chair.
I seriously don't want to be here,why can't he just go and sit somewhere else?
Soon mrs.kate entered the class.
"Morning class,so today i have something exciting for you"she said with a grin and the class started cheering.
"So,as you have romeo and juliet this year,so i thought that it would be fun plus helpful to you all,if we had 'that' only for the play"she told and the class cheered again.
Our table was the only quiet one.
Me,because,i am not excited for the plays anymore.
Every year at the end,before the prom dance,there is a theatre show held by pur school,in which every grade presents a play.
Yeah,our school is more into curricular activities rather than actual studies,there are so many events held,i couldn't even name them at once.
About the play,
I used to be part of it most of the time,but that was on whole year ago.
I am not interested in it anymore.
Me,gina,and theo,we used to give auditions and try our dumb luck,and most of the time both me and gina,got a part in the play while theo was left out.
So to keep us company he used to join the decorating team.
And at the day of show,when the show ended,theo used to be the first one to stand on his chair and start clapping,while she used to hoot and whistle with him.
They were so good days.
I really miss them.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when mrs. Kate asked me something.
I could see her lips moving but i didn't heard her.
"Sorry?"i asked embarrassed for zoning out on her
"Well,i said that,the auditions are starting from today,after the school,do give it a try,will you"
No,i'll rather not.
I wanted to say but i just settled with a feeble 'sure'
It's not like she'll even know,if i came or not.
With that she went back to the front and started distributing worksheets for the class to do.
I received mine,and started scribbling the answers that i knew.
"Pfft"i heard someone call from beside me,but i completely ignored him,continuing to do my work.
"Hey"he elbowed my arm.
I ignored him again.
This time he started poking my arm with his
Pen.
Seriously?is this guy for real?
Can't he see that i am not interested in whatever the hell he has to say.
Then within a matter of seconds,my sheet was snatched away form front of me.
This is the second time my thing is being snatched.
"Seriously?what makes you think that rudely snatching away people's belongings is a good idea?"i hissed at him.
Usually,i don't even react to whatever someone is saying to me,but then there are some situations like these,which makes me almost loose my temper.
"Not my fault,i asked you three times."
"Ugh!jerk"i muttered and fell back in my seat.
I've had just enough.
