It was soon to be Christmas. The halls were buzzing with noise as usual as I walk to the Great Hall for Dinner.
I find my best friends, Harry, Ron and Hermione waiting for me at the Gryffindor table.
"Hi" I say sitting down.
"I can't believe Christmas is nearly here" Harry says.
"Yeah, there's like, what, 6 days?" Ron says piling food onto his plate.
"4 to be exact" Hermione corrects.
"Will you be staying this Christmas?" She asks us.
"I will be" Ron says.
"So will I" Harry says.
"And me" I say.
"I'm going home for it, to see my parents" Hermione says.
It was Christmas morning and I sprung out of bed and ran down stairs.
"Merry Christmas!" I scream trying to wake everyone up. I run up the stairs to the boys dorms and knock loudly on Ron and Harry's door.
"Wake up! It's Christmas!" I say loudly.
Harry opens the door.
"Merry Christmas!" He says and we run down stairs with a sleepy Ron trailing behind us.
"Yay! Let's open our presents! Come on Ron!" I call.
I open all my presents.
I get books and candy from Hermione. Harry got me a necklace which was charmed for the stone to tell you your mood and a snow globe which changed setting every time you shake it.
Ron got me candy and some really cool shoes. I got so much more too!
"Wow! There are so many presents this year" Ron says opening his presents.
"What did you get?" Harry asks Ron.
"Food, food, food, food and a whole lot of candy" Ron says.
"Why did people get me so much food?!" Ron asks.
"Because you never stop eating" I say.
"No I don't" Ron protests.
"Last night, I caught you sleep walking to the kitchens... see you probably even eat in your sleep" I say.
"She probably right" Harry says.
"I am offended" Ron says.
"Why? It's true though" Harry says.
"Hmf" Ron say crossing his arms.
"Forget about food, it's Christmas!" I say.
"Isn't the point of Christmas to eat?" Ron asks confused.
"Seriously Ron, it's not about food, it's about being with your friends and family" I say.
"Really? Oh, that make more sense then" Ron says.
After Christmas we meet Hermione back at Hogwarts.
"Thank you for the presents!" I say.
We thank each other and Hermione tells me what she got.
That night I was sitting in the common room which was extremely quiet and opened my diary to write something down when I saw a bunch of crosses over my writing.
I re-read it all..
Hermione.
"HERMIONE" I scream.
"What's up?" Harry asks looking up from his book.
"Hermione read my diary" I say.
"How do you know?" He asks.
"She corrects all my vocabulary and spelling mistakes. She even reorganised my paragraphing!" I say.
"Is something wrong?" Hermione asks running down the stairs.
"You read my diary!" I say.
"How did you know?" She asks.
""Are you serious? You corrected everything!" I say.
"Oh, I'm sorry" she says.
"Now you know everything!" I say.
"Wait, you have secrets?" Harry asks getting interested.
"Maybe a few" I say.
"Like how Malfoy is her cousin and how she likes Ron or maybe it is the secret where she once had to share a bed with Malfoy because he came over her house and the floor was uncomfortable for him" she says.
"What the-?" Harry asks.
"Hermione!" I scream again.
"Sorry" she mumbles ashamed.
"Are they all true?" Ron asks running down the stairs.
"Where you listening?" I ask.
"To every single word" he says.
"Wow, so now you know" I say.
"I know but do you?" He asks.
"Your confusing me Ron, what do I not know" I ask.
"That I like you" Ron says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Why would I joke about something like that?" He says nodding.
"Anyway.... is Malfoy really your cousin?" He asks.
"Yeah, her mum is Lucius Malfoys sister and that's how their related" Hermione butts in.
"Thank you Hermione" i say sarcastically.
"Anytime Y/n" Hermione says not noticing my sarcasm.
