“Woah! Eifel is so gorgeous!” I said scanning the whole tower from below.
“A guy might fall out of the sky you know!” Desiree winked at me mischievously.
“Ha-ha-ha Desiree. Very funny.” I said pretending to laugh at her.
We went up through the elevator and got up pretty fast.
“Pssst! Lauren, look over there.” Desiree said.
“Where?” I said.
“There!” Desiree said pointing at something.
Drew, Blake, Lyka and Leila. What a surprise.
“Oh, hey Lauren! How’s life? Having fun?” Lyka saw me looking at her and decided to come talk to me. Ugh.
“Fine and happy. You?” I said sarcastically.
Then she hugged me.
“Me? Well, making Blake and Drew fall in love with us.” Lyka whispered then let go and went back to Drew and the others.
What was the hug for?! Is it to let Blake and Drew know we’re all happy happy friends?! Don’t tell me they’ll fall for that trick?!
“I know, I’m thinking what you’re thinking, Drew and Blake are dumbos.” Desiree said.
“Hell yeah.” I said.
We ignored them flirting non-stop then we checked the other view of the Eifel. Taking pictures of each other.
“So, who’ll take a picture of us?” I asked Desiree.
“Him.” Desiree said pointing at someone.
“Mace!” I shouted running to him.
“Lauren? Hey! Sup?” Mace asked.
Okay, here’s the chance, ask him! Ask him what you want to know!
“I was pointing at him because he was cute but I didn’t expect you to know him.” Desiree whispered.
I winked at her.
“So, what you doing here?” I asked Mace.
“Having a stroll since I got nothing to do in the academy.” Mace smiled at me.
“What class are you? It says on the paper that your group activity partners are in my class.” I said.
“Oh that, I’m in class B. But I do the activities alone in the teacher’s room.” Mace answered.
“Why? You have a great result but you’re in B?” I said.
He laughed.
“You’re very funny Lauren! Hey, I’ve gotta go. Talk to you next time beautiful!” Mace said patting my head and leaving.
“That was Mace? So he should be the one in my group.” Desiree started wondering.
“Uhuh.” I said.
He’s hiding something. I just know it!

Desiree and I kept walking at the top of the Eifel tower.
“You know, I’m getting hungry.” I said.
“Same. Know any restaurants?” Desiree asked.
“Chocolate.” I said pointing at the stall over there with lots of people.
We went to fall in line and when it was our turn, they ran out of stock.
“Seriously?!” I said.
“Oh gosh! Lauren! The bus!” Desiree said grabbing my arms.
“Oh no! Don’t tell me they left us?!” I said.
“Check the time. Passed two hours already I didn’t notice it! What should we do?!” Desiree panicked.
Then it started to rain.
“I know!” Desiree said getting her phone and dialling a number.
“Hello? Drew?-” I cut her off.
I grabbed her phone and ran away.
“Lauren! Come back!” Desiree said.
Once I found a shade, I stopped.
“What’s wrong with you?!” Desiree asked.
“We’ll get back on our own.” I told her.
“We need the guys and you don’t even know the way home!” Desiree said.
It’s true, I don’t know the way back, but I’m sure asking people around here can be a big help!
“We don’t need them, come on!” I said grabbing her arm.
It’s been twenty minutes or so that we’ve been asking from people but some just ignore us or some just smiles at us then walks away. I mean, come on! As if you don’t know the most posh academy here!
“Why not go back to the Eifel tower then let’s just remember what bus we rode from the cafe.” Desiree suggested.
We’re far from the Eifel and I’m not sure of the road anymore.
“Okay, let’s try.” I said.
Then suddenly, Desiree’s phone vibrated.
An incoming call from...
Drew.
I rejected it and just continued walking.
“Why don’t you ask help from them?!” Desiree asked.
Why?
Why?!
Why?!?!?!
I don’t know actually..
I know, it’s funny. My pride just can’t handle it you know.
“We can do this. I know it!” I said firmly.
After ten more minutes of asking so many people were the Eifel tower is, we finally arrived and guess what time it is? Yes, 7pm! It’s getting late and we’re so tired and hungry already. But both of us are on ‘saving mode’ so we just want to get home.
It’s still raining very hard and it’s a good thing Desiree brought an umbrella or else I’ll be soaking wet again for the second time.
“Okay, we’re here at the Eifel then??” Desiree said.
“I don’t know..Wait, I’ll check the bus stop.” I said.
We went to the bus stop and saw the schedules of the bus. I found the cafe’s bus and guess what, the latest time was 6:30pm! You have to be kidding me!
“Oh great.” Desiree said.
“So now what?” I asked.
“You’re asking me. Let’s call them!” Desiree said.
“No!” I said.
“Why?” Desiree asked for about a zillionth time.
“Just no. I’ll find a way.” I said.
We were going to ask someone when Desiree shouted something.
“Drew!” She said.
“Drew?” I asked.
“Drew!” She said again.
“Are you obsessed?!” I asked laughing.
“No! They’re here! Dreeeeeew!” She shouted running towards me.
I turned around and saw Drew and Blake running towards us.
Then suddenly,
“Woah Desiree!” I said laughing.
Drew and Desiree hugging each other so tight. Tears were forming in Desiree’s eyes and she was blushing! So she does like Drew!
“There, there. I’m here.” Drew said patting Desiree’s back still in the hug.
I turned away from them and saw Blake looking at me.
“Hey.” I said.
I was sharing umbrella with Blake since Desiree took the umbrella with her when she ran towards Drew. I wonder what will happen to them tomorrow, will they be a couple? I wonder about that. I laughed silently on my head.
“Hey.” Blake whispered.
I suddenly remembered the brownies I was supposed to give him. It was still in my backpack and I wasn’t sure if I still should give it to him but I made it so hard..
“Blake.” I suddenly said interrupting our awkward silence.
He looked up to me with his green eyes that’s making my heart thump so fast!
“He-here..” I said getting the box from my bag and when I handed it to him, his eyes widened.
“Lauren..Thank you..I didn’t..I..” He said speechless while untying the ribbon and opening the box.
“Sorry.” I said not looking at him and to be honest, I really was.
He suddenly held my cheeks and let go of the umbrella he was holding.
The Eifel tower was just in front of us and I could feel the rain splash in my hair but who cares?
“Here. I’m also sorry.” He smiled and handed me..
The Belgium chocolate cake that I was falling in line for before! He was the one who bought it!
“Blake..Tha-” Then he cut me off.
“Shh.” He said pressing his finger on my mouth.
“I’m sorry for what I did before and for getting mad at something I shouldn’t be mad at. Sorry for not talking to you earlier. I was just..afraid that. That..you might not want to talk to me because of what happened before..I’m sorry, Lauren.” His touch tightened.
I pressed my fingers to his lips. “Shh.” Then we both laughed.

We headed home through Blake’s car and Blake was driving. I sat beside him and Drew and Desiree at the back. Desiree was snuggled to Drew and Drew leaning his head on Desiree’s head. Aww, how sweet!
I looked at the Belgium chocolate Blake bought for me and noticed something.
It has something carved in.
Lauren Finn, I’m sorry, please never ignore me ever again. Please? : )
