Kipper sobbed.
Skipper was bloody and unconscious on the floor. One side of her body had a large gash.
The robeast receded into its cave, seemingly satisfied with its work.
"Sister please wake up!"
There was no use. The female twin was out of commission.
The male twin balled his fists up in anger.
This happened because he was too weak.
Skipper was the stronger one, leaving Kipper to be more tactical.
But Mistress wouldn't let them leave until they completed their training.
Which meant it was all left on Kipper to finish the job.
"I will be the strong brother you need", he said out loud to his sister.
Slowly, the twin stood up, glaring the robeast in the eye.
"I am not weak", he told himself.
"I am not weak."
"I am not weak!"
He sprinted straight for the beast with a determined roar escaping his throat.
