I know Valentines Day has been and gone, but hey! Louis and Zoe need a little lovin' after what they've been through. Louis's POV Chapter 26
Valentines Day. One of the best days in the year for some people, me being one of them. I love Valentines Day, especially when I get to share it with someone as amazing as Zoe. She's my everything, I don't know what I'd do without her.
It's nearly our 6 month anniversary, yes I'm counting the days we've been together because every day with her is amazing. We were in my house for the weekend because Mum and the girls went to Butlins for a holiday. I have everything planned for today, today is going to be perfect.
My arms are wrapped tightly around her waist, one of my legs thrown over hers. She's still sleeping, her breathing slow and easy. I could lie here like this forever. The feeling of her in my arms makes everything seem better because I know I've got her with me. My phone buzzes beside my bed and I reach one arm out to get it. It's a text from Harry...
Harry's Text:
Hey sweetcheeks ;) Happy Valentines Day, hope you and Zoe have a good day! USE PROTECTION! Hxxx.
I chuckle and send him a quick reply back before kissing Zoe's forehead and getting up. I'm guna make her some breakfast in bed, hopefully that will be romantic enough for her. I go to grab a t-shirt and sweats but decide that maybe Zoe would prefer I hand her her breakfast in just my underwear? Yeeeah. I get into the kitchen and open the fridge to find some bread. I hoke through Pheobe's play dough stuff and find a heart shaped cutter. Aw this breakfast's guna be amazing.
I place the toast in the toaster and look out the window to see Mum's rose bush in full bloom. Hmmmm, Mum wouldn't mind if I cut a few off, would she? I run out into the garden in only my underwear and pull one of the roses off the bush. I suddenly here someone giggling so turn around to see our next door neighbours little girl peering over the fence.
"Um.. Hi!" I exclaim. She just giggles and runs off. Then I realise that she's laughing at my superman boxers. Greaaaaat.... I quickly sprint back into the kitchen and get the toast out of the toaster. I butter them and use the heart cutter on them, they look great.
I grab a little vase and pour some water into it before adding the rose to it. I boil the kettle for a cup of tea, reaching up into the cupboard to get my superman mug. I put the plate of toast, vase and a mug of tea on the tray and carefully carry it up to the bedroom. I push the door open with my foot and find her sitting upright, rubbing her eyes.
"Morning gorgeous..." I murmur, placing the tray at the end of the bed.
"Morning! What's all this for?" She smiles.
"Uhhh, Valentines Day?"
"Shit! Yes, I remembered! Of course I did! Yup!"
I chuckle before giving her the tray and watching her eyes widen as they scan down my half naked body. I wink at her before joining her back in bed again.
"Awwww, Louis! You cut the toast into hearts! Baby!" She exclaims, admiring the slice she's holding in her hand.
"To show how much I love you!" I exclaim, grinning sheepishly.
She leans in close to me and plants a kiss on my lips before moving back and resting her head in the crook of my neck, munching on her toast. I kissed her forehead before getting up and grabbing the gift bag beside the bed. I handed it to her with a smile and she looks at me confused.
"What's this?!" She exclaims, taking the bag and looking inside.
She pulls out the parcel and begins to unwrap the silver wrapping paper. Inside the parcel was a mug with 'My Gorgeous Girlfriend' written on it with a boofle bear smiling broadly at the side.
"Oh Louis!! I love it!" She exclaims, throwing her arms around me and pulling me close to her.
"I thought you should have your own mug..." I reply, grinning smugly.
She reaches in the bag for the envelope, which is huge since I bought one of the big cards. She chuckles and opens it up. On the front is two bears hugging on a bench with hearts around them. It says, 'Happy Valentines Day my gorgeous girlfriend...'.
"Oh Louis, you're so cute!"
I grin as she reads what I wrote inside. 'To My Smokin' Hot Girlfriend ;) Happy Valentines Day baby! It's nearly our 6 month anniversary and I just wanna say, thanks for putting up with me that long. I love you so much, don't ever forget that. Lots of love and kisses, Louis xxxxxx'
She smiles and kisses me softly. "Thank you baby..." She then reaches down beside her and lifts up a blue gift bag. "Happy Valentines Day baby..." She says, handing me it.
I grin and rip open the parcel. Inside it, there's a gift card for Topman, a huge Diam bar and a CD marked 'Louis's Songs'. I grinned and leaned in to give her a big kiss.
"I burned all the songs you love onto it, mostly The fray and Boyce Avenue but there's some Who Let The Dogs Out on it too." She giggles.
"Thank you so much baby, I love it." I laugh, giving her another kiss.
I almost forget about the big fluffy bear under bed for her. I reach under and pull it out making Zoe squeal. "Awww Louis!!!!!" The white bear is holding a heart that says, 'Happy Valentines Day!' on it. She hugs the bear before hugging me tightly and smiling. "Right, you better go get ready. I'm taking you out for the day." I say, nuzzling her hair. "Where are you taking me?" She asks, looking up at me and smiling.
"It's a surprise!" I exclaim, getting up off the bed and making my way to the shower.

I lie on the bed waiting for her to come out of her shower. A lot has happened between us since we got together, but I want to prove to her that she can still trust me. I hear the bathroom door open and out she comes, wrapped in a towel, her hair slicked back away from her face. "You're so pretty without make up on, why do you wear it?" I ask her honestly, gazing at her beautiful face.
"Because unlike you, I don't see what you see." She says, opening a drawer of her underwear.
"Well that's stupid." I exclaim, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her back to sit on my lap.
"You're gorgeous, don't ever think otherwise baby..." I whisper in her ear before kissing her cheek.
She blushes and kisses my cheek back, before getting up and going off into the bathroom again to get changed. An hour or so later, we're sitting in my red beetle ready to go, Zoe's hair is all natural looking today, the way I love it. She hennaed reccently so it had a nice copper tone in it. She looked gorgeous and once again, I was left thinking how the hell did I get this girl to like me?
Because of being on The X Factor, I get recognised a lot more, especially by teenage girls. They love us and I love all the female attention but I need to make sure Zoe knows that she's my one and only. "So where are you taking me?" She asks for about the millionth time today.
"I'm not telling you! Infact, put this on." I say, reaching into the back while still trying to steer. I lift out one of my ties and her it.
"You want me blindfolded?!" She laughs, looking at the tie in her hands.
"Yup! Now do it!"
"Ughhh, fine. But only because it's you."
She ties the tie around her head as I park the car just opposite the jewellers. Zoe and I are only 19, so getting married is out of the question. I want to marry her but I still want to live my life before I settle down with her. I open the car door and run round to her side, taking her hands and helping her stand up. I laugh before locking the car and walking behind her, gripping her waist and leading her to the door of the jewellers.
"Louiiiis, can I take this off yet?" She asks, holding her hands out infront of her, trying to feel her way around.
"Okay..." I untie the knot so the blindfold falls down.
She suddenly sees the rings and necklaces glistening and turns to face me, her mouth wide open. "Louis, why are we in a jewellers?" She asks, a smile playing on her lips.
"Well, don't get all hyped up yet. We're not here to get an engagement ring. Don't get me wrong! I want to marry you, but not yet. We're here because I want you to pick out a promise ring. It's like an engagement ring, only it's not offiicial, if you know what I mean. I basically want you to know that I love you, and I always want to be with you. I want you to be the one I grow old with, spend the rest of my life with. I want everyone to know that you're mine..." I explain, wrapping my arms around her waist during my speech.
Her eyes are glistening with unshed tears and she wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me in for a hug. "Oh Louis, I love you! I want to spend the rest of my life with you too!" She exclaims, pulling back and looking into my eyes. She runs a hand down the side of cheek before I place my lips on hers, kissing her hard. She moans a little, making me smile but then I realise we're in the jewellers.
"Right come on then, let's get you a ring...." I say against her lips.
She pulls back and smiles before I take her hand and lead her over to the cabnit of silver rings. I have my arms wrapped around her waist from behind, cuddling her as she admires all the rings. "Oh that ones gorgeous Louis!" She says pointing at a little silver one with a mini anchor on it.
"Even I like that ring. Excuse me! Can we get this ring out please?" I ask the little old man behind the till.
He nods and bustles over, fiddling with the keys and opening the cabnit. He smiles and takes out the ring, passing it to Zoe. "Thank you." Zoe smiles, before placing the ring on her finger. "Louis, it fits perfectly!" She exclaims, looking at me shocked. I grin, holding her hand and admiring the ring. "It looks gorgeous on you." I say, kissing her hand. She blushes, making me wink at her.
"How much?" I ask the little man.
"£130." He replies, pushing his glasses up his nose.
Zoe gasps, "Louis, there's no wa-"
I cover her mouth. "We'll take it." I say.
Zoe looks at me speechless as I slide the ring off her finger and pass it to the little man, pushing my credit card into pin machine. Zoe walks over, takes my hand. "I love you." She whispers in my ear, resting her head on my shoulder. I smile, taking my card back and taking the ring from the man, "Thank you!" I shout, walking out of the store, Zoe on my arm.
I take the ring and get down on one knee, making Zoe giggle. People who were walking past decide to stop and watch from a distance making me a little nervous. "Zoe, I love you so much. When I met you, everything changed. I became a better person because I had you to make me laugh and smile. Will you take this ring as a token of our relationship and promise that one day, you will marry me?"
Zoe's eyes fill up and tears start to fall down her cheeks, a smile gracing her face. "Of course Louis...." She bearly whispers. I grin and place the ring on her finger, standing up and wrapping my arms around her waist before looking her in the eye and kissing her, causing the passer bys to clap and aw. I lift her up and spin her round by the waist, never wanting to let her go.
"Right, shall we carry on with are day?" I exclaim, setting her back down on the ground and grinning.
She smiles back and takes hold of my hand, squeezing it tight. "So far this day has already been perfect Louis, what exactly do you have planned now?" She exclaims as we walk back to the car. I wriggle my eyebrows before getting into the car.
I drive home again and watch Zoe's expression become confused as we drive into the drive way. "So what are we doing home?" She asks, getting out of the car.
"Well, I thought we could have a cosy movie day, you know, build a fort out of duvets and cushions and just watch Disney movies together." I murmur feeling a little shy and silly for saying Disney movies.
"Did I meantion you're the best boyfriend ever?" She says, wrapping her arms around me and cuddling into my chest.
I grin, feeling proud of myself. I kiss her temple and walk into the house, telling her to go bring the duvets down to the livingroom. I, being the organised person that I am, already bought Chilli Doritos, Coke, Maltesers and Strawberry laces yesterday, so I grabbed them out of the cupboard and threw them into the livingroom. I go upstairs to get changed into my sweats when I suddenly a pile of duvets hovering towards me.
"I'll take them baby!" I laugh, lifting them from her, her eyes darting from my side swept hair to my now bulging biceps.
I smirk and chuck the duvets downstairs before grabbing my sweats and slipping them on,while Zoe watches me closely, her mouth ajar. I chuckle before shutting her mouth with my finger and kissing her gently. She sighs before smiling at me and going to get changed into her own sweats.

"Right, put the duvet down on the sofa and sit down. Then I'll throw the other duvet over you and climb in, okay?" I say, laughing at her expression after our little pillow fight.
"Right okay, you get in with me though, yeah?" She asks, making herself comfortable on the duvet.
I grin, "Of course, I need someone to cuddle!"
She blushes as I throw the other duvet over her, making our sofa look all warm and cosy. I slip in beside her and wrap my arms around her, kissing her neck gently before hitting play on the DVD remote. Zoe chose to watch Wall.e which is also one of my favourites aswell. She turns herself around to face me and cuddles into my chest, my arm naturally going around her.
"This is the best Valentine's Day ever Louis, thank you." She whispers, leaning up to kiss me.
"You deserve all of it and more baby." I reply, resting my head on hers and smiling as she sticks her hand out to admire her new ring.
