Chapter 18

I awoke to no one else in the bed except myself. I had wished and wished that it was only a bad dream, but it wasn't, it was real. Louis was gone.

I swung my feet out of bed and saw that there was a rose petal path leading out the door. I grinned insanely as I realised who must have left it.

I quickly opened the bedroom door and saw a bunch of roses lying on the ground with a note attached to it.

I was so happy, I was crying. I hugged the flowers close to my chest, never wanting to forget the feeling of my happiness. He wanted me to forgive him? Of course I would forgive him, I mean surely there was a reasonable explanation for why he went out with Dan and Anna!

I quickly ran downstairs, hoping to find him in the kitchen but he wasn't there. I noticed there was a box of chocolates sitting on the kitchen along with another note.

If he was here right now, he would know that I forgive him already! But he's not, where is he?

"He went out love, I think he said he was going to the beach." Jay says from behind, as if she's read my thoughts. "Oh, Okay, thanks." I reply, smiling. I quickly pull on my t-shirt and dungerees and head down to the beach, looking around for a hot guy with brown hair.

There were dog walkers and young families everywhere, but I saw no Louis. I looked around frantically but I couldn't see him anywhere! I turned around and a rather large message in the sand caught my eye.

I ♥ you, Zoe xx

I look over to the right of the message and there standing with a gigantic stick in his hand, was Louis, smiling happily. I grinned insanely before sprinting over to him, shouting his name so he would turn and look at me.

He turns round and I see his gorgeous face, grinning madly with his arms wide open. I run into them and cuddle close to him, never wanting to let him go ever again.

"Never, ever leave me again Louis. I'm so sorry about what I said. You have every right to see Anna if you want to."

"No baby, it was my fault. I shouldn't have been so hard on you. I hated being away from you, I hated not being able to hold you last night and tell you everything was going to be okay and that I'll always love you. I could never loose you Zoe, you're too precious to me. In the words of Aerosmith: I could stay awake just to hear you breathing. Watch you smile while you are sleeping, while you're far way dreaming. I could spend my life in this sweet surrender, I could stay lost in this moment forever. Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure. "

Tears of happiness slide down my cheeks as I hug him tight. "Louis, please, never give another speech again because you make me cry every frigging time!" I laugh. He laughs and kisses the top of my head.

"Every word in that song explains exactly how I feel about you Zoe. You'r-" "Louis! Please! I'm crying buckets already!" I exclaim. He laughs hysterically. "Okay fine, I love you." He says, brsuhing a bit of my hair behind my ear.

"Just kiss me already." I whisper, as I'm so close to his lips. He grins madly. "With pleasure." He says winking. Less than a second later, his lips are on mine. How romantic is this?!
