Chapter 15

Louis and I arrived back in Doncaster the next day at about 8pm. We were tired and could bearly keep our eyes open. "Oh my God. Straight to bed when we get in." I told him as he fumbled about in his pocket for his keys. "When you say that, you mean sleeping, right?" He asked. I laughed, "Yes Louis."

"SURPRISE!"

"Holy Shit!" Louis yelped as we opened the front door to be greeted by all of Louis's family and friends.

There was a huge banner hung from wall to wall that said 'Congratulations Louis!' His whole family was so proud of him and so was I. "Mum, you really shouldn't have." Louis said as he gave Jay a hug. "Well I did. Oh Louis, we're so proud of you. I know you're going to do so well."

I admired how Louis and his mum had such a close relationship. I was missing my mum too but when I told her the news about Louis getting through, she was over the moon and couldn't be happier for him. I actually think she feels like Louis is her adopted son!

"Did you know about all this baby?!" Louis asked as he wrapped an arm tight around my waist.

"I swear to you, I didn't!"

He tightened his grip around my waist making me smile and turn round to face him. The constant buzz of conversation was flowing in the background but something about it was relaxing. It made me feel safe and secure being wrapped up in Louis's arms and hearing everyone say how proud they are of him.

"You okay?" Louis whispered into my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"I'm fine, baby." I murmer against his chest.

He plants a kiss on my forehead and I look up at him, giving him a look. He immediately knows what I mean and crashes his lips to mine, grinning as we kiss.

"Alright Louis, give it a rest." Dan said as he whacked Louis on the back, causing him fly into me.

"Dan, watch it! You nearly made me fall over Zoe there!"

"Sorry mate, congratulations by the way! I knew you'd do it. It was only a matter of time."

"Thanks Dan, I just hope this isn't for nothing and something actually happens. I mean, just because I got through to the second round dosen't mean I'm there yet!"

"Don't say that Louis!" I butt in. He looks at me startled. "But what if that does happen Zoe? You don't know for sure that I'll get through." He replies. I roll my eys and Dan does the same.

"You'll get through, I know you will because your voice is amazing. You're amazing, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that will think that. People will vote for you and you'll be huge!" I grin.

He smiles back and starts to play with my fingers. "What would I do without you?" He whispers before planting his lips on mine.

"Fine, you two snog away. I'll be over there." I hear Dan say.

Louis and I are too busy in our own little world to notice everyone dancing, talking or singing. We're just too in love to notice anything.

The party was great but I probably would've enjoyed it more if I could keep my eyes open. Most of the time, I spent leaning on Louis's shoulder.

Everyone had got Louis a present or a card, they were so proud of him and knew he would get through. Only person who didn't believe that, was himself. I couldn't understand why though, I mean his voice is amazing. I've never heard anything like it! Why dosen't he see that?
