The Beret; Elliasse's story
Elliass's POV
Here it goes..
"CAT EARS!?"
After a few hours....
"How did you even.... Why didn't you tell us?" He asked
"B-Because... I was afraid that you might freak out a-and I didn't want to ruin my high school, I also didn't want to ruin our friendship, including Zen of course. I don't want you two to make fun of me--" Kyllaku puts his index finger on my lips.
"Shhh... Who ever told you that we won't accept you the way you are. All you need.... is to be honest, right?" This made my heart calm and light
"Thanks Kyllaku, and one more thing.... it's a WOLF'S EARS" I showed him a poker face.
"But will you promise me not to say this to any of our classmates? I just want to live a normal life, Kirru" I pleaded
"Hmm.. I don't know if that should do it."
"Pleaaaassseee!!!"
"Is there any other secret you want to share with me"
Kyllaku's POV
So Elliasse isn't so normal after all. But I'm not satisfied with just this. I want to know what she does. Maybe my ideas are true, maybe she could be an assassin. Maybe she is Sapphire!
"W-What more can I tell you?" Yup, there's more
"Like your whole story. I've told you mine why not tell yours?"
"Okay then..."
"I lied to you about the collar, but not how it functions. This collar is for training for assassins.... Kyllaku..... I'm an assassin."
Shit just came true.
Elliasse's POV

"But I can't tell you what my assassin name is."
"Is it........ Sapphire?" I can't, not now.
"No, it's not. WAAAIT A MINUITE! You were hanging out with that Sapphire girl while I was being kidnapped aren't you?!
"W-What?! No!!" He is.. what a totall liar!
"Whatever! Anyways, my sister is an assassin too. Although she wasn't at home everytime. She has a boyfriend named Slade which she lives with. I lied when I also said that I don't have any friends besides you two, but when I transferred in our school I really had none. After I joined a guild (I'll ust lie to him one more time) my friends increased. They were nice to me, and that's because we have the same experiences. Being tortured, casted out of our own homes, being told to kill people and things that we are not suposed to be doing." I was going to continue when I noticed him staring at my ears again.
"Will you pay attention here?!"
"Oh sorry, it's just...."
"What?"
"You're sloppy ears disgust me"
"PAY ATTENTION!"
"Alright! Alright! Sorry... Continue please..
"Again! I was telling the truth about my Aunt Jholine being the nicest relative I have because, the torture that my parents do to me, is far more worst than what your eyes could've seen."
"What kind? I mean how?"
"Like every kind of pain they do. Mentally, Physically, Emotionally and everything! Electrifying, breaking my bones, killing my own pets, terrible foods, medicines, locking me up inside a dark cellar, fighting for a week without rest, leaving me in a cemetery when I was just 4 where there are zombies everywhere. And when I don't get their lessons right, I suffer in a month dungeon. I was locked up several times without eating, INSIDE that scary dark cage. I cried a lot, most of the time I almost gave up. One time when I had made one friend, I was 6 then. They... made me killed him. I didn't want to do it so they sent me to dungeon for 3 months again without anything, just the walls keeping the cold away. No bed, no blanket, no nothing. It was the scariest torture of all. I almost lost my head, but I didn't give up. After three months, I killed my bestfiend. That was the most depressing and painful moment in my life." Teardrops fell from my eyes as I remember that smiled that he always shows me everyday at school
"What was his name?" Kirru asked
That was the moment that I realized....
"I..... don't... remember. Why can't I? Why can't remember?! He was....... I'm so stupid! Why did I forget such........ idiot!"
Kyllaku's POV
Tear drops was all I can see on Elliasse's eyes. He pupils became blurry because of it. I pity her, and I though I was the most unlucky child when I was born. I never knew someone else was suffering more that I did. Elliasse was suffering.... more than I could ever imagine.
I wish I could've been there for her.
.....
I wipe off her tears with my thumb. But she kept on crying. So I hugged her to make her feel warm. I never wanted to make Elliasse cry.
"Sorry, Elliasse. I'll never ask you about that again" She hugged me back she kept sobbing but I felt her shooking her head
"No, it's okay. I'll continue. You... are my bestfriend so you can keep this a secret right?" I never realized that I was showing a worried look on my face. I'm sorry Elliasse
"*Sob* After that kill, I cried and cried every single night of my life. Not once did I forgot about him. That was a lifetime torture for me. I always remember his smile and he always protect me from my angry classmates. He even said.."
*Flashback*
"I'll be your prince and your knight in shining armor Essie. I won't be gone by your side! I promise"
"Thank you, //////////. And I want to be your princess when we grow up!"
"Uh huh! That would be nice! I would like to marry you too!"
"W-What? Is that what it means? Oh well, then I promise that my heart will only belong to you, ////////////" she stretched out her hands as if she wants a hug.
"I also promise that I will marry you when we get older. Haha! I want to get older now so we can fulfill our dreams together!"
"Right!"
"Elliasse, it's time to go home"
Elliasse trembled and slowly turned to /////////// with a smile on her face
"You better keep your promise, my prince. Or else I will haunt you down!" She payfully winked at him. He smiled back
"Same to you my princess. Oh wait, before you leave. Keep this!" He smiled happily and gave Elliasse a beret.
"So you won't forget about me when we get older."
Elliasse chuckled for a moment
"You silly! I won't forget you! I definitely won't!" She smiled and took the beret. She wore it ans smiled at him.
"Does it look good on me?"
"It looks great! You look pretty even with our without that Essie"
"Thanks! Bye bye, ///////////!" With a single wave Elliasse went inside her father's Limo.
*After a few days*
"E-Essie? W-What are you doing?!"
"I'm ...... I'm so sorry...... I'm sorry!!" *Sling!*

Elliasse's POV
Tears flow down my face again. I remember that one kill that I regreted the most. I should've spent my whole life in dungeon than to kill my bestfriend.
"I was such a fool!"
"Shhh, calm down" Kyllaku hugged me tight.
My tears couldn't stop flowing everytime I think about him.
"I broke our promise and fell in love with someone else. I couldn't even keep that one promise to each other... I.... I have no right to live. He deserved to live, he was pure and kind. But I broke our promise.... Our promise to marry and to love eah other day by day!" I cried and cried
"What do you mean you broke your promise and fell in love with someone else?"
"I.......*sob*" I began to hugged Kyllaku without realizing the words that comes out of my mouth. I was really desperate for the light of love ever since I was a kid. Because I never felt one until I met my first friend.
"I fell in love with you Kirru!" My tears....... I can't control them from falling. I can't stop. Remembering those frightful days as a child. Just horrible. I don't want to experience that anymore.
I froze as soon as I realized what I just told him....
.....
I confessed.....
Kyllaku's POV
I was shocked at her confession. She was carried away and didn't know what she was saying anymore. But I knew that she wasn't lying to me anymore.
Instead of feeling depressed by making her cry, I felt like the happiest peron in the whole world. Like I could die in happiness.
"Elliasse...?"
"Hm?" She replied with such a faint voice
"Could you... repeat what you said?" She looked at me for a moment and sincerely said:
"I fell in love with you Kirru"
This made me smile
"In other words?"
"I love you... Kirru" She fell asleep after she said those words. I was yearning for her to say those words for a long time.
I took her in my apartmen since it was nearer in the park. We were so carried away about her past that we didn't even know it was already raining.
I dried her hair with my towel. I wipe and also dry her face with a warm towel.

I turned on the T.V. after drying her. And then I glanced at her for a minute.

..........
" I love you too, Elliasse"
.........
........
"From now until forever"
......
............
..........
That was the time.... where there was no one but us. That was the time when.... the moon.... is our love's witness.
