3rdPerson Point of View.

Dean eyed the pie in the display glass. Breanna was staring at it with happiness too. She wondered if she was extra nice, maybe he’d buy her a slice. It looked so good.

Her and Dean had been at a shop, trying to get online for the realtor site. They had been blocked by a firewall, and although Breanna had tried to hack it she was annoyed when she failed to do so and Dean had to call Frank.

“So tell me you got something Frank.” Dean said hopefully.

“No,”He replied sarcastically, “I’m calling to give you the score on the Lakers game.”

“What?”Dean stopped eyeing the pie in confusion.

“O’course I got something.” Frank clarified. “I figured out why you hit that firewall.”

Dean listened, while buying two slices of pie. Breanna cheered with a subtle, “Yay.”And took two forks and the plates while the cashier cut the pieces away for them.

Dean waited impatiently for Frank to reply, before he stuffed his face he said, “My silence is your cue Frank.”

Frank chuckled, sitting down at his computer. “Oh touché. So you were trying to access the GeoThrive Internal Site, and the reason why you couldn’t is ‘cause if you dig down deep, its all Dick.” He said and although Dean couldn’t see, he pointed at the picture of the politician/leviathan. Dick Roman.

“Yeah well that’d be helpful if you didn’t say that about everything.” Dean retorted.

“Yea, except I’m operating on hard fact now, you wise ass!”

“So you’re telling me that GeoThrive is part of Roman Inc?”

“It’s a conglomerate within a subsidiary within a conglomerate. Its all tied together Dean.”

“So what—the Leviathans are Walmart-ing Mom’s n Pop’s?”

“And Bingo was his Name-O.”

Breanna looked out a window to see Sam and Hope getting out of the truck. Hope’s dog sat in the front seat, looking out through the open window. She smiled, good they would all be here too.

“So we got a big ol’ field in Wisconsin, and a bunch of shoppes in Portland? What the hell are they up too?” Dean asked.

“Beats me.” He answered. “All I know is its corporate and smelly as the day is long. If I were you, I’d get out of Dodge, pronto.”

“People are dying here Frank.”

“Sure, every single second. That town ain’t nothing special.”

“Well, we’re not done here okay? And hey, we might get some answers.”

“Fine,”Frank groaned, “Call me if you don’t die.” He replied and hung up.

“So?”Sam asked,

Hope interrupted, insulted, “You got pie without me!? What the hell Breanna?”

Breanna laughed, there was only one bite left. She went to stab it with a fork, but Hope slid the plate out from under her. Her fork stabbed the table. Breanna glared at her and tried to stab the pie again, She missed. Hope laughed and they stared each other down.

“Oh please don’t let this be like the butter again.” Sam said and Dean chuckled, remembering Hope flicking the butter in Sam’s face when it was meant for Breanna.

“You don’t like a little excitement Sam?”

“No.”Sam replied as Hope snatched the last bite and ate it. “Its exhausting.”

“Yay!”She cheered evilly. “I won!”

Breanna glared at her and added, “I hope you choke.” Then laughed together with Hope.

HOPES POINT OF VIEW

****

Once we had all settled Dean told us the news. “Looks like this town has a bit of a Leviathan issue.”

“Really?”I asked. I thought we were just dealing with cursed objects.

Then Dean explained to us how main street was bought up by Bicklebee Realty which in the long run was funded by Roman Inc, linked directly to a Leviathan.

“Oh great.” Sam said gravely, rubbing his eyes. I didn’t say anything to Dean, because I knew I wouldn’t have to.

“Oh would you quit with the insomnia crap. I’ll keep working here, you go find a motel and get some sleep.”

“It doesn’t matter what I do, Dean.” He said and I watched him carefully. “Lucifer will not shut up.”

Breanna eyed me cautiously, probably wondering if this was normal. This was not.

I watched Dean as he quietly asked. “Even now?”

“He’s singing stairway to heaven right now.”

“Good song.” Dean and I said in unison.

Sam looked tiredly at the table, “Not 50 times in a row.” He replied.

“Hm,”Dean replied and Sam’s phone began to ring.

“Hey Scott,” He answered and I began to listen in.

“Please S-Sam! You gotta help me!” I heard frantically on the other end of the line.

Sam looked at the ceiling trying really hard not to look annoyed. “What’s happening?”

“I looked in one of my mom’s old mirrors and now I wanna rip my face off!” I cringed at the last part.

“I think it was cursed.” He whimpered.

“You think?” I replied sarcastically earning a look from Dean.

“Who are you talking to?”

“I can hear Scott on the phone with Sam,” I replied.

“Really?”Breanna asked curiously.

“Let me guess, he touched something he shouldn’t have and now he’s cursed?” Dean asked and I nodded. “Yep.”

“Of course he did.” Sam grumbled as Dean threw a tip on the table.

We groaned and stood up to leave. Oh well, looks like no one was going a motel to sleep.

***

Scott hung up the phone, and turned to look at Mrs. Bicklebee and George.

*****

We were there quickly, jumping out of the truck. Dean flung the jingling bell door open and we walked into the room to be greeted, not by Scott with a ripped off face, but by two real estate brokers. Scottie boy sat tied and duct-taped to a chair.

I growled, it was a trap.

“So much for the cursed mirror.” Dean said, reflecting my own thoughts.

The short brown haired woman put her hands on her hips with a small smile. “Sam and Dean.” She stated and added, “And Friends too, it is such a pleasure to make your acquaintances. Now just so you can put the names to the faces that will be eating you…I’m Joyce.” She smiled sweetly and I growled.

“Oh aren’t you feisty,” She commented as my eyes flicked electric blue, “Perhaps you’ll digest well with my Assistant here George.”

“Yea,”I replied, “I always heard Bitch couldn’t digest me very well.” George looked nervously from me to the woman.

I got in front of Breanna, and Joyce gave me a stern look.

“You’re the lady from the realtor signs.” Dean commented.

“Yes,”She said turning from me with a smile, “You like my photo?”

“Oh you might wanna lay off the whitening strips.” He said.

She chuckled, pretending to like his joke. “Oh Dean. I am going to enjoy picking you out of my teeth.” Then she opened her mouth beyond a normal angle and a spiked tongue came out along with a row of fangs. It reminded me of a black hole.

She yanked Dean and threw him into the bookshelf while George grabbed Sam and threw him into a wall. I growled and punched Joyce in the side of the face, crying out when it felt like I had just punched a metal door. She grabbed me and gripped my waist where my stitches were. I let out a cry.

“A little tender there already?” She commented, her supernatural jaw reopening. I shuddered, knowing that I was trapped. Dean smashed a statue into her skull and she let go of me, and I collapsed onto the floor.

Breanna grabbed a javelin and clunked George upside the head with it. Sam grabbed George and picked him by his collar. Throwing him into a bucket of cleaner behind him.

Dean smacked Joyce upside the head again with the statue. She grabbed him by his jacket--before I could stop her—and sent him crashing into a table, smashing the glass and breaking the table legs.

“The sword!” I heard George cry out and saw one laying next to me. He must want Joyce to get it for some reason, screw that! I’ll use it on her!

She grabbed Dean and threw him through a windowed glass door. It continued to shatter as Dean slid across the floor.

I stood up and heaved the sword up with me. She walked towards Dean, ready to kill him.

I swung the sword threw the air and it smoothly cut through her and chopped off her head. Her body collapsed, bleeding out black goo.

Her head lay on the floor, staring at nothing in surprise and Dean looked at me gratefully, “Uh, Thanks.” He grunted in pain.

I nodded, then dropped the sword aside, leaning against a wall and panting heavily as I felt the blood streaming down my waistline. “Damn it.”

I looked at Sam, who was standing right next to me, “You still got one guy to finish off.” I panted, looking at George.

“Um, he just helped us.” Breanna said awkwardly.

I raised an eyebrow. “What?”

****

We grabbed Mrs. Bicklebee’s head, throwing it into a bag and putting it in the cursed box safe, so no one would be able to get it.

“I get it, these guys mean business, but I can’t just, like uproot my life.” Scott said as I rolled my eyes.

I finished stitching up my own wounds, pulling threw the last thread with a grunt and cutting it. “The hell you can’t ‘just uproot and leave.’ Do you want to be Levi Dinner?”

“No, I guess, not.” He grunted.

“Its not as hard as you think,” Dean grunted and I limped alongside him into the other room.

“Look Scott. These Big Mouths don’t like to leave loose ends.” Sam stated, staring at George, who was off in the corner to himself.

“Don’t look back until you get to a place where you don’t speak the language.” Dean informed him.

“Japan’s nice.” Breanna chimed in. Scott didn’t look convinced.

“All right,” He replied, “I’m going. Hey, thank you I guess.”

“Don’t mention it.” Sam replied and with a jingle of the door, Scott was gone.

I looked at George in disgust, seeing over half of his face was healed by now. Lucky S.O.B. and to think, most of my stitches had been healed too, before that stupid Levi tore into them again.

“One Minute.” Sam stated, holding the sword. “That’s how long you have to explain why you helped us.”

George said something we did not expect, “Because I am dying to know what that bitch tastes like.”

Sam raised his eyebrows, and Dean looked just as confused. “Wait, let me get this straight, you want to eat your boss?”

“You gotta better way to make her stay dead?”

Dean hadn’t thought of that.

Sam,“So what, are you on our side or something?”

“Yeah…no.”He shook his head and took off his jacket “But if Joyce is alive, then I spend the rest of my life cleaning her messes. Or worse I get eaten, or bibbed.”He shuddered. “So thanks for chopping her head off for me. The thought of taking her on solo yikes—” He chuckled. “So really thanks for the assist there.” He looked past Sam and at me. I glared at him. “And of course, your welcome, for saving you.” He says and looks at Dean,“Before she was ripping into you like a Christmas present.”

He clicked his tongue, “Win-win Right? So how about that head?”

Dean and I looked at Sam.

Dean,“Yea, not gonna happen Georgie.” Sam put the sword to George’s neck. Breanna shifted uncomfortably next to me. “Now what the hell is Dick Roman building in Wisconsin?”

“I don’t know. I barely know where Wisconsin is! I’m a West Coast representative.”

Sam,“You gonna keep killing people, who don’t sign on the dotted line?”

“Hey take it easy,” He runs his hands against the sword, and licks his finger which has his bosses blood on it now. I wrinkled my nose. It smelled like trash.“Mmm…killing people isn’t on the agenda. Joyce kept getting impatient. You got nothing to worry about with me. Don’t you get it? You guys are freaking out over the wrong thing!”

“Oh you think?” Dean said darkly.

“A couple real estate deals, come on!” He threw his hands in the air, “Big picture guys! You think its just here? Its everywhere…and its a lot more ambitious than this little project. My advice, keep your heads down and stay down.”

Dean nodded, “Listen to me you gooey son of a bitch. You’re gonna tell us what your building here, or I’m gonna wash your mouth out with soap.”

George gulps, “Well, I was hoping we could play nice. But if you must know, its going to be a research center.”

Dean,“Research for what?”

“Disease. This Gentlemen, and Ladies, is where we are going to cure cancer.”

Sam raised his eyebrows, “Wait that doesn’t make any sense. I mean, why would Dick Roman want to cure cancer?”

“’Cause we’re only here to help.”

***

The next morning

I leaned against the truck right alongside Dean.

“You feeling okay?” He asked me cautiously while Sam finished hooking up the ball hitch for the U –Haul truck.

“Yea,”I replied, “I’m just tired, I don’t know how he can do it.” I motioned to Sam.“Right now all I want to do is get in bed and sleep for twelve hours straight.”

He turned towards me, and sandwiched me between him and the truck. “Does that bed have room for two?” Dean grinned and I jokingly shoved him away, only to grab his collar and pull him in for a small kiss on the lips.

He smiled, and I knew I was liking the idea of a bed for two already. However just to torture him I answered, “Of course there’s room. For sleeping.” His smile faltered as he pretended to be broken hearted. I smirked and Dean walked around to the back of the U Haul, shutting the door which had been left open.

He had been upset about what George had said to us the night before, and he was just addressing it now. “Monsters curing Cancer.” He shook his head in disbelief. “A sentence I never thought I’d say. Why does it make me so nervous?”

“Have you seen I am Legend?” I replied hastily.

“No.”

“Well we solved cancer, but we also created our own doom, everyone turned into rabid zombies and tried to kill each other.”

He pointed at my explanation, “Ah, so that’s why I’m so nervous.”

Sam replied, “Yea I hear you, so what do we do know?”

“You’re gonna sleep, all the way to franks.” Sam rolled his eyes, like sleep was even a possibility.

The drive was long, and I found myself wedged between Breanna and Dean up front, while Sam slept in the small flip down seat in the back, his feet resting on Isis as she snored.

“I think we need a bigger car,” Breanna noted. “We are all getting a little too comfortable with ourselves.” She noted me, resting my head on Dean’s shoulder.

“Yea, but at least we’re here.” I noted, “And I don’t plan on turning into Levi dinner anytime soon.

I soon fell asleep, rocking out to some oldies and leaning on Dean’s shoulder.

“Hey, we’re here.” Breanna stated, shaking my shoulder. My eyes opened, it was completely dark outside, had I slept all day.

“So I get to meet the infamous Frank huh?” I questioned tiredly as Dean turned off the engine and jumped out of the car. Sam crawled out of the back seat after we got out, Isis with him so she could run out to do her business.

“Hey Frank,” Dean pounded on the door. “Come on let us in!” There was silence, and that was when I became so aware of the silence in the area.

“Frank!”He pounded harder. Sweat rolled down my face, something wasn’t right, I could smell blood.

I turned the doorknob, forcing the door to unlatch.

“Don’t shoot us okay!?” Dean cried as I lunged inside, looking around. It looked like the battlefield we were in last night, glass shattered everywhere. Blood was splattered on the computer, where a picture of Dick Roman stood proudly on screen.

Frank was gone, leaving us to believe the Leviathans had gotten him, and he was as good as dead.
