(Pulls a G36c out and starts killing)
(Darklord : BTW ( blows clicker head off ) you carry a G36C with you, a heavy duty sniper rifle with suppressor and of course everybody favoriet melee weapon a machete, a bullet proof army vest for your bullets and combat knife ( spins kicks a clicker head off ) twin pistol or what ever kind you want i'm personal a desert eagle guy or the beretta m9 but everybody his taste right ? ( Throw a grenade in a clicker mouth and kicks the body away before it explodes ) just read the story)
You smirked when you drop kicked a infected down a floor who landed on his head and died the second he landed.
You stood up dusting of shoulders when a clicker came from behind you but you pulled the machete from your hip and turned around waiting for clicker to come closer before you chobbed the blade right in his head.
You were known as being a survivior your father used to be the best of the best he taught you anything you knew from birth, when the infection happend and you were born a bit after that he was one of the not many prepared and easy survived. He raised you well making sure you could survive the world outside the safe zone and even could fight for yourself and outpost in need of help because like he said 'if we want things to become better and this world can rebuild stronger then ever we have to help each other'
Right now you were trying to break inside of a store selling tools and parts for your daily maintence or home duties, in one of the stronghold said they needed that stuff to make sure the water could stay on so everybody could drink and shower and of course they asked you to help out and being the nice guy you agreed.
Sadly the shop had his security gate down with two infected inside so first you needed to find a way pass the gate and then battle two infected something that should be easy but not if the mall the shop was located was full of infected of any kind.
You tried figuring a way to pass the gate when you got a idea, you pulled your sniper rifle out and looked around for the button to open the gates and found it by the counter.
You filled the gun with a small bullet meant for hurting not killing and shot the button slowy opening the gate only the rattling caused the two infected to attack you,
You pulled your machete out and slashed the first one head clean off but the second grabbed you forcing you to keep his head away with your free hand then you kicked it in the leg so it became off balance and you pushed him to the wall then started punching his head over and over again until it gave in killing the infected.
You chuckled and quickly looked around the shop grabbing what you needed and threw it in your backpack then you regretted bringing your sniper rifle it was so heavy to carry linked to your backpack but hell you weren't gonna leave it.
Even how heavy the backpack felt you still threw it over your shoulder and hided behind a shelf when a lot of footsteps entered the hall coming to you soon filling the outside of the shop with three infected and two clickers all looking around for fresh meat,
You sneaked out the shop behind a infected grabbing a brick from the floor and smashed it into the back of the infected head. You ducked behind a bench when the others looked but seeing nothing they turned their heads away again.
You chuckled and grabbed the remains of the brick and threw it inside a trashcan making a lot of noise so the infected were distracted and you could run away,
You laughed to yourself feeling victories and started running through the street to the stronghold sneaking past infected like it was a daily thing all everytime you could feel your heart stop. A gunshot was heard a street or two away from you getting your attention.
Mostly you would ignore this but today you felt curious so you pulled your sniper rifle out and walked over to the sound sneaking behind cars or truck hearing more gunshots as response to the first.
The gunshots came from a big streets filled with cars and trucks but no infected only military dudes and a girl who was being restrained from attacking what looked like a general.
You sneaked ontop of a truck and lay down out of their sight aiming your sniper rifle counting about four soldiers one General and a girl probaly responsible for about six death guys on the road. It was hard but thanks to the girl yelling you could barely make out the conversation.
Ellie : let go of me fuckers !!!
General : not gonna happen now you get one chance to come peacefully and i forgot about my men getting shot like dogs.
Ellie : like you shot Joel as a dirty dog !!!
General : that man was selfish and the biggest asshole i ever seen.
Ellie screamed and kicked the man in the stomach causing him to bend over so she could kick him again this time in the face but the two others who stood by and watched grabbed her legs preventing her from doing anything.
Ellie : don't you dare to fucking say that again !!!!! He may not have been the best but Joel was a father figure to me and you killed him for what !!!!
General : for humanity !
Ellie : don't make me laugh you just want to use me to make people listen to your bullcrap or else you leave them to the infected... guess what !!? You can't have the cure im gonna make fucking sure it comes in the hand of people who actually use it for good !!
General : we will use it for good, we save humanity from the infection and the goverment.
Ellie : the goverment.... you just want to overthrow it so you can take control asshole !!! You say you want to throw it because they are evil but all you fuckfaces do is recruiting people to make them die in a fight they can't even win!!! How does sending innocent people to attack their protectors save them !!!
General : people want and need their freedom the military doesn't have the right and with the cure we can give it to them the military are the tyrants.
Ellie : well you are no different causing fights, destroying buildings and homes !!
It seemed those guys were fireflies a group you kinda disliked, they may be fighting for freedom but hey their fighting caused the death of many and maybe when the goverment was keeping a iron grip they did their best to keep so many people save and uninfected something not easy in this time.... the fireflies only made it worse by the attacks.
You nodded your head, personal you didn't hate the goverment or the military whatever they were for what they did, okay they excuted some people and maybe nobody got a thing to say but hey it the fucking apogolypse somebody needs to take charge and try to keep humans alive they aren't the best but its fucking better then nothing ot people getting shot trying to fight it because you rather lived in a safe zone very well guarded then outside of it with everywhere infected and no rules or people keeping order... if you were a normal cilvilian you kinda loved it to be the badass survivor....
And of course there was this rumor they kept the cure from everybody so you decided to help the girl out.
You aimed for the back of the head of the general who just punched Ellie across the face when she kept cursing.
General : if you don't wanna go along then we make you im not scared to punch a gi.. (BAM)
The general blood splattered over Ellie and the soldiers shocking them from the sudden shot when another silent shot was loosed and a soldier fell death down making the other three drop Ellie to the ground to take cover.
One peeked his head over a car looking for you when a bullet went through his head and he fell death down. The second soldier ran from his car to another cover place but you hit him in the chest sending the bullet through his heart killing him instantly.
(Y/n) : another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust, and another one gone and another gone another bites the dust !!! Eh !
Ellie took her chance and grabbed the handgun from the death general and went after the last one hiding behind a truck suprised to see her appearing in his view but was to late to stop every bullet who passed through his face.
Ellie took a deep breath hiding behind a truck calming herself using now the death soldier automatic gun pushing the extra mags in her pockets. She took one last deep breath and did it... she came intomview getting out her cover just when you ran past her looking like your ass was on fire.
(Y/n) : RUN BITCH RUN
Ellie stratched her head confused looking the way you came but then took off after you running as fast as she could grabbing her bag with a guitar quickly from the ground before she would be over run by the horde of infected.
You two runned over the streets followed by maybe 50 infected until Ellie spotted a arcade and you two ran inside kicking the doors open and then closed it using a broom to hold it closed while you two just pushed anything you could find infront of the doors hoping it would last.
Swearing you two highfived forgotting you were strangers when you heard footsteps behind you and you two spinned around finding just more infected walking over to you. Ellie used her stolen machine gun while you made quick headshots with your sniper so kinda quick scoping.
When your last bullet hit the ground the last infected did the same among the carnage of his infected brothers.
You wiped the sweat of your head when you felt Ellie handgun being pressed against your head threathing you not to make one damm move or your head would probaly be somewhere in that wall.
Ellie : who the fuck are you !?
(Y/n) :........... who are you ?
Ellie : who is the one having the other under gunpoint ?
(Y/n) :...... both of us ?
Before she could open her mouth you spinned so you looked at her placing your handgun under her chin.
Ellie :.... okay both of us......... why did you help me ?
(Y/n) : can't stand the sight of a girl being attacked or anybody for that matter so long their innocent or good guys you know what i mean... i also hate those fireflies i saw their mark on the armor of a soldier and they aren't really rebels more terrorists.
Ellie : so you want me to believe a stranger comes to my rescue ?
You looked at hee for a few second then retracted your arm and placed your gun in his holster showing her your hands, she started at you for a few second before lowering her own gun giving you a chance.
Ellie : well if your speaking the truth thanks.... im Ellie (offers you a hand)
(Y/n) : (y/n) (shakes her hand)
You placed your backpack on a table strapping the sniper rifle again on the backpack so you didn't have to carry it but this time pulled your G36C out replacing the ammo from the sniper with the other one and even grabbed some water taking a sip and offering Ellie some.
You also made sure the throwing knifes on your belt were okay before turning back to Ellie leaning againts the table.
(Y/n) : now i think about it why did they attack you ?
Ellie : we have a past (looks sad down with a hint of anger) but to keep it short.... im hunting them all down because they took somebody from me.... somebody closer then anybody i ever knew and i plan on making them pay.
(Y/n) :....... im sorry must be hard........ if you need a place to stay their is a survivor outpost not to far from here maybe they can sell you a room if you accept the terms.
Ellie :.... be nice to have a real roof over my head
(Y/n) : well then lets go
You seached the buildings looking for a way out and found a emergency exit blocked by a few machines but together it was very easy to pull them away. You cracked the door open slowy peeking your head out looking for infected but they were all banging on the front door.
You stepped outside keeping a eye to the way you heard the most noise not seeing the infected behind you when Ellie jumped out and stabbed it in the face with her knife killing it silenty.
She gave you a smirk then walked ahead of you out the alleyway when you remembert that you needed to point the way so you jogged after her taking lead through the empty streets of your old city to the survivor outpost watching each other back along the way making here and there a small conversation to kill time to know a few things about each other.
It wasn't long before you two found the outpost in a old school locked off with wire fenches and self made walls keeping the infected out and whoever passed would be killed by the guards. It took you a while but having the stuff they needed they allowed Ellie in the outpost if you kept a eye on her even let her stay for free because you lied she helped you out with finding the tools.
It was even harder to get her to leave her weapons with the people but after a few minutes she accepted the terms leaving only her pocket knife in her pocket hoping nobody saw it.
The leader was Japanse oldery woman who smiled brightly at you but she started speaking in something Ellie could't understand. (Note : i did this with google so its probaly wrong but i truly can't care who doesn't understand this sorry but i really wanted to to this so you have to skip this)
Woman : Ā, kon'nichiwa (y/n) wa daredesu ka?

Woman : (laughs) Otokonoko ni anata ni koi o shite hoshī to tazuneru dake de, kanojo wa hitoban taizai suru koto ga dekimasuga, anata wa kanojo ga koroshite inai koto o tashikameru tame ni mo taizai shimasu.... Sore wa kyōyū o imi suru
You nodded your head with a blush and left her the tools, you walked with Ellie to what you know was the room of people seeking shelter or just for guests.
Ellie : what did she say ?
(Y/n) : good job and you can stay in a seprarated room but i have to stay too to keep a eye on you
Ellie : hey if its a bother i can.......
(Y/n) : no its okay i can go home tommorrow i can't really let you go outside in the night..
You two walked in akward silence to a back room used to be a class but now a room for people who had to stay away from the rest living in a few beds placed in the room only you two were the only wans there. Ellie dropped her back with some of her clothes and own supplies next to one and lay down happy to feel a bed even thought it wasn't the most comvertable Ellie was happy to have a bed anyway.
Ellie : aaahhhh good people here !
(Y/n) : yeah that lady tries to keep the people nice enough to lend a helping hand.... all you own me a thank you for a few good words.
Ellie : (chuckle) thanks dude
Ellie took her shoes and socks off and lay down sighing in relief staring at the ceiling while you whistled closing your eyes. You yawned turning over on your side your back facing her while she turned to her side her back to you both ready to go to sleep.
Ellie : good night (y/n) thanks for the trust......... i own you
(Y/n) : its okay Ellie..... being in a place like this gives you a pretty cool trick of being able to judge people my father only increased it with some of his methods but i could tell you could use a nice moment and some help.
Ellie : so your able to judge people huh ?... what you all can tell about me ?
(Y/n) : being with you for a while a few things.... strong headed, protective, a burning desire for revenge but you still are nice it seems... oh and your not sure if your into boys or girls because you kissed a girl in your younger days.
Ellie : holy shit how can you tell that ?
(Y/n) : im good in it i don't know you entirely but from this point of view Ellie your okay
Ellie :...... thank you
You smiled and tried again to sleep only Ellie had one last thing to say.
Ellie : oh and dude i better not wake up and find you wandering where you should't or you regret it
(Y/n) : same to you, you unfunny poor girl
Ellie : (chuckle) screw you ! my jokes are great.
(Y/n) : and from a book !
Timeskip.......... don't pay attention to the guys throwing bodies in wood chipper.
You woke up hearing somebody play with a pocket knife but after 10 minutes you didn't hear somebody approach you so you relaxed and turned around finding Ellie just about to play guitar.
Ellie : oh sorry i got bored i still thought you were deep asleep.
(Y/n) : its okay i got up on my own..... go ahead i play some guitar i don't have much else to do.
Ellie smiled and softly tuned her guitar and started playing her song singing so beautiful you started to cry unknown to you feeling so much emotions in the song. It was so beautifull it felt like you listend for hours endless hours of a beautifull song... is this how heaven felt or getting.... no wait i can't make that joke.
Ellie saw what she did and stopped placing the guitar back to check up on you worried.
Ellie : are you okay ?
(Y/n) : sorry that was beautifull.... what i say you can sing amazing.
Ellie blushed muttering a shy 'thank you'walking back to her own bed hoping you didn't notice her blush. Lucky for you a guy knocked on the door inviting you for breakfast with the same older woman from yesterday. It was nice change from eating alone in your home enjoying the company of Ellie and the leader.
Ellie accounched that she planned on leaving town to chase after the fireflies so in a attempt to stay with her for a little longer you told her you two could travele together until you reached your safe home you could point her a safe way and stock up on some ammo. Ellie agreed not wanting to say goodbye just yet to you for some reason feeling so comvertable around you even more then she did around Joel.
You two made sure to leave with everything you two got and Ellie followed you to your home deeper in the city missing most infected and one close call with a click later you two stood behind a car showing your home which was actually a old bar only with a home above if and heavely secured. Sadly the place was filled with infected infront of your home looking for food but being in this situation before you activated a stereo far away leading them far enough for you two to reach the reinforged door and you let the two in.
The bar was dark windows boarded and the bar filled with weapons, ammo, supplies even a map of the city against the wall.
Ellie : cool place
(Y/n) : thanks..... here have a drink i grab you then something from the storage room.
You and Ellie drinked a entire a bottle of wodka together feeling a little lighheaded so Ellie switched you two to a old soda bottle you had laying around and stayed longer until she was ready to go. You two laughed and talked not caring about infected hearing you telling funny stories or jokes.
You got her the ammo and even gave her some candy you bought from a few other survivors she could actually taste something sweet when she needed a light if things could go dark. You two wiped some tears from your eyes after so much laughter after you told her a old joke you knew.
Ellie : oh god thats better then my book.... (Sigh) but its time to go
You frowned but put up your best smile giving her hand a gentel pat.
(Y/n) : its okay Ellie understand...... i wish you the best and.... be safe
She smiled and leaned over the bar hugging you her hair ticking your ear but you smiled and hugged her wondering how this girls so fast found a way in your hearth. You pointed her to the roof where you put up a zipline to sneak past the infected, she gave one last smile you never forgot and left to upstairs leaving you alone in the bar feeling after 5 minutes so empty without her.
This place felt always a bit like home quiet and dark but you liked the silence and the darkness kept you hidden from your enemies until the moment of the kill... in so less time she got you to miss her already. Hell you stayed with each other for a day but joked aroud and showed intresrest like two knew each other for weeks.
You sighned taking a sip of your drink wondering what to do feeling bad for letting the girl face hard odds on her one.... unless.

Ellie sighned walking with her head low over a highway the wrecks of cars making it look only more death but it didn't bother her, after Joel she had trouble trusting people but with you she felt so good. You seemed to care for her and saved her from the fireflies showed intresrested and for some reason she wished she didn't had to leave but she had to avenge Joel.
You looked like a normal boy with a skill for surviving but you were nice, you enjoyed life as much as you could and helped where you could and..... in her eyes you were kinds cute.
She blushed wondering how she was gonna deal with missing you when she heard a can roll over the ground because a female infected stepped against it, it looked her way and slowy avanged something that didn't even bother her anymore she just reached for her handgun when the infected brains were blown out without a sound and she fell on the floor death.
She looked up seeing you with your own handgun out behind her having a large backpack over your shoulders with guns, ammo and plenty supplies for maybe two persons. She smiled looking at the ground trying to find the right words to express herself.
Ellie : its gonna be dangerous
(Y/n) : well i love a bit of danger (walks infront of her) and somebody has to watch your back just promise me something....... don't let hate and revenge consume you and kill of the real you.
Ellie just smiled and walked ahead you by her side when you wrapped your left arm around her shoulders while she wrapped her own left arm around your waist leaning her head against your shoulder.
Ellie : thank you (y/n)....... i could use you far more then killing of fireflies
(Y/n) : (chuckle) that means two things....... but i don't feel complete anymore without you Ellie so im not gonna lose you
Ellie smiled looking you in the eyes continue walking then you two pressed gentle your lips together in a sweet kiss the sun coming up infront of you making a romantic sight. You two kissed a bit harder parting after 30 seconds of heavy lip locking and kept walking ahead to a adventure of danger and survival but so long you two had each other the fireflies light was gonna die off.
