*6 weeks later its two days before the royal wedding is due to be but Mal had made it clear if her leg hadn't healed she wanted to postpone until it had, a demand Ben had agreed to willingly, having decided there wasn't any point in keeping the date if it was ruined for her*
Ben: you nervous?
Mal: of course I am, we're supposed to get married in two days and I don't want to have it pushed back any further, we've been engaged for two and a half years
Ben: I said we should just get married then
Mal: it was the right choice Ben
Ben: I know, I can't believe we've been together for nearly 5 years
Mal: and half of that was engagement I get it
Ben: no I'm just saying
Mal: okay
Ben: I swear that leg had better have healed, I don't want to wait any longer to marry you
Mal: that's not all you wanna do with me
Ben: maybe not but we don't have to talk about what's gonna go down once we're behind closed doors in two nights
Mal: if it happens, if the wedding doesn't happen we both decided to wait
Ben: actually you decided to wait I just agreed because I would never push you into anything
Mal: how horny are you?!
*she smirks a little at the slightly strange look on his face*
Ben: very, you're very hot, I'm very lucky
*the dirty smirk on his face had her laughing her ass off*
Ben: while you're in a good mood let's get you over to the doctor to get this cast off
Mal: okay
*20 minutes later*
Doctor: there we go, that's finally off, how does it feel?
Mal: kinda weird but yeah
Doctor: no pain?
Mal: no, maybe a little tingly but not pain
Ben: that's good right?
Doctor: that's a good sign but we'll have to do an X-ray to check
*timeskip again because I'm lazy and this is a filler chapter tbh*
Doctor: okay well I have some very good news for you, it's perfectly healed, you're leg is absolutely fine, be carefully on it for a while but you should be good for the wedding
Mal: thank you so much doctor
*the doctor smiles and then leaves he room*
Ben: that's great
Mal: yeah
*she doesn't sound quite so convincing however*
Ben: you don't sound so convinced
Mal: no I am
Ben: you're not getting cold feet are you?
Mal: well my foot is pretty cold now there's no cast on it....
*she smirks and he smiles with her*
Ben: come on missy, we're getting you back, gotta do the final arrangements then you've got a party to get to tonight
Mal: if you come back as drunk as last time all you guys went out together then you and I will not be sharing a bed tonight
Ben: then you may wanna use your room, it'll be one of the last nights
Mal: oh sweetie I'm very sure I'll be using that room again not long from now, you're a lot of work, I like my own space occasionally
Ben: whatever I'm still marrying you so I'll go with it now come on
