"August Alsina is fine, just a few cuts and bruises here and there. He is very lucky man," the doctor says.
"Thank you, so may I see him?," I ask.
"Yes no children right now," I look back at the kids.

"Your welcome room 109," I nod and walk down the long hall. I look into the rooms and see family's surrounding their loved ones. I continue to walk to room 109. 107. Another sad family. Room 108. One more. 109, I walk in and see August laid out on the bed. Eyes closed. I see his scars, bruises.
"August," I say. He groans and opens his eyes. "Oh my gosh baby are you okay?," Oh yeah he can barely speak. I walk to his aid.
"Mel," he try's to speak. "What happened?," he asks.
"You got into a car accident," I say tucking him in.
"Ugh, what about my fans. They are going-,"
"Shh, calm down. Just rest," I kiss his forehead. "Just rest," I feel a warm, salty tear fall down on my face. August raises his hand and wipes it off of my face.
"Don't cry," he says. "Im fine, I'll be out of here in no time," he says. I smile and get up.
"How bout some TV?," I turn on the TV and flip through the channels.
"Melanie," I cant look at my baby in the bed right now.
"Oh look-," he cuts me off.
"Melanie,"
"Hm,"
"Come here," he says in a weak tone. I turn around and walk over to him. He pats the bed for me to sit down.
"No baby I don't want to hurt you," I say refusing.
"Mel," I sit next to him, he tries to sit up.
"No ba-,"
"Melanie," he says getting irritated. He wraps his arms around me. He winces in pain.
"August n-," he looks at me. I raise my hands in surrender.
"Much better," he says. "But a kiss would make me feel better," I look up at him, he smiles. "I need the touch of my baby's sweet lips," he says. I kiss his lips gently and softly. "I-,"
"August," the nurse walks in. I jump a little and look at her. Her scrubs are like skin tight, I roll my eyes and get up. "You need to take your pills," she says. August lets go of me, I walk over to the side. "Im sorry but you cant be in here while we are doing this," she says to me.
"Why?,"
"Hospital rules," she says. I look at her in a suspicious way, then back to August.
"Nah she staying in here," August says, I smile.
"Mr. Alsina she cant,"
"Alright fine," I give up and walk out, I walk over to Harmony and the kids.
"Mommy is daddy okay?," The kids asks me.
"Yes he is fine, he just needs some rest,"
"Can we se him?," Kailyn asks.
"Hold on let me go check," I turn on my heel and walk back to the room.

How does he know? I didn't even tell him. I shake it off and walk into the room.
"Oh Wassup babe," August says, the nurse is sitting on the chair.
"Hey," I say, I stop chewing my gum.
"We was just talking," he says, like he read my mind.
"The kids want to see you babe," August looks at the nurse.
"Oh yeah of course," she gets up. "I'll be back August," she smiles. I walk over to him.
"Wassup," he looks up at me, giving me the look I love so much.
"I just hate to see you like this,"
"I'm fine," he says. He grabs my hand and conjoins our fingers. "You love Daddy, " I laugh.
"Daddy?,"
"Yes Daddy," he puts his hand on my waist and pulls me closer to the bed.
"What kind of pills did they give you, you are crazy," he laughs.
"When I get out of here, I bet I can make you yell Daddy," I laugh.
"Isnt somebody feeling them self," he chuckles.
"But serious, you love Daddy?,"
"Of course,"
"Then you can trust and believe I will be perfectly fine," I smile and play with his fingers. My phone vibrates in my pocket.
"Your mom is here,"
"3, 2, 1," we recite and Ms, Alsina walks in.
"My baby!," she yells.
"Ma Im fine," August says. She hugs him, gently.
"Oh my gosh my baby are you okay?,"
"Yeah Im alright," he says.
"Hey Melanie, thank you for being here for-," she looks down at my ring finger. "Oh my gosh, yay," she says. "Son, why didn't you tell me,"
"Im sorry mom,"
"Better be,"
"Well congrats again," I laugh.
"Well you guys should renew your vows,"
"I-," I start talking.
"Great idea mom," August says.
"Im out," I say getting up and walking towards the door. I open the door and Devin and Kailyn run in.
"DADDY!," they kids yell.
"hey!," he tries to yell. "Oh my goodness," he says picking them up. His mother and I caution his action. "I got this," he says to us.
"Daddy are you okay?, "Kailyn asks.
"Yes I am fine, where you crying?," he asks her.
"No princesses don't cry," she says stiffening up. We all laugh.
"Your ane not a princess," Devin says.
"Yeah huh!,"
"Nuh uh!," they go back and forth.
"Stop, please," I beg of them. His mother takes a call and steps out for a moment.
"Visiting tiem is up, time for dinner then bed," The nurse says.
"Aw man," Kailyn says. "I was just about to tell daddy about my dream," I smile. Kailyn hugs August and Devin hugs him as well.
"Go wait with Aunty outside," I tell them. They nod and walk out of the room.
"Aw you want some alone time with Daddy," he says. I laugh and walk over to August.
"No you dropped the remote," he laughs and pulls me down next to him.
"Don't go,"
"I'll be back tomorrow babe I promise. Then when you get out I will take good care of you," I say look at him.
"I hope I get out tomorrow," I smile.
"Bye,"
"Bye babe love you,"
"Love you too," I kiss his lips.
"Mhmm Mmm Mhmm," I laugh and walk out. I close his room door and walk to the kids.
***that night***
I prop onto my bed and relax my nerves. Just as I close my eyes the kids walk in.
"Mommy?,"
"Hmm?," I ask sitting up.
"I think you need a hug," they crawl into the bed and hug me.
"Aw thank you,"
"You are really stressed," Kailyn says.
"I know I am, but I think its best if we all go to sleep, "
"Oh yeah," they giggle and climb into my covers.
"Yeah go ahead," I slide in next to them and shut out the light.
***the next day***
"So if the rating drop, we can just-," I get cut off with another phone call. "Hold on please," I answer the second line. "Hello?,"
"Get me out of here," August begs.
"August I can talk right now, I'll come and get you on my break okay," he sucks his teeth.
"Bu-,"
"I really have to go, love you, see ya," I hang up and finish the other phone call.
"Knock knock!," I open the door, irritated.
"Yes yes?," Autumn hands me flowers and a card. I shake my head and put them on my desk.

Love you darling. Call me please.
I set it on my desk and let it be. I finish up my work and finally get my break. I rush over to the hospital to get my baby. I walk in the hospital and walk to the front desk.
"Hi Im here to check out August Alsina room 109," the nurse looks through a book.
"Ma'am he checked out earlier today,"
"What do you mean check out?,"
"Somebody pulled him out already,"
"Im sorry do you know who?,"
"I cant give out that information,"
"Thank you, "I smile and grab my phone and call August.

"Where are you?,"
"At the house,"
"How did you get there?, "
"Don't trip babe," Okay...
"Whatever Im on my way,"

August opens the door with open arms. I walk up the steps and hug him.
"Hey babe,"
"Hey," I smile and kiss him. He deepeneds the kiss and pulls me closer.
"Mhmm," I smile and draw back.
"You hungry?," I ask him.
"Yeah," he grabs me from behind. "Let me just eat real quick,"
"Your so gross August," I say. He laughs and kiss my neck. "August," I sa trying to pull out of his grip.
"You remember when you said you were going to take care of me?," he asks me.
"Mhmm," I drop my head back on his shoulder as his touch comes down. I turn around and lead him upstairs.
