You growled and finally picked the lock of the door.
Survivor : good work (y/n)
They petted your shoulder and walked in not wanting to look at your cocky look on your face for a second. You were pretty good in surviving with your skill in battle with bow, two handguns, a machine gun. And of course your amazing katana stolen from a storm guard you killed when you used to be one of them.
You followed after them holding your machine gun strong in your grip for safety knowing what happend to the last people who went after that woman. Yes your group was sent to go after Lara croft herself spotted in this building looking for parts.
It was a old building with vehicle of the army like tanks and armored cars long ago stripped for parts and age wasn't nice for the poor things.
You guys checked the area finding a flash-light dropped next to a old car.
Survivor : she was here a while ago. (Y/n) check the halls we stay here to check the other places.
(Y/n) : me !!? You guys just don't wanna risk your own.
Survivor : yeah kinda but go !
You muttered something under your breath and walked in a hall checking each side scared wondering if she was just as scared as you.
You turned your flash-light attached on your gun on and walked the hall in looking everywhere slowy scared out of your mind.
Your foot bumped into something on the ground and you almost fired but just caught that it was just a body of a soldier who worked here.
(Y/n) : sorry pall
You just went around the corner finding still nothing then old bodies, rubble and old army gear.
A scream of a survivor scared you to the bone that you fired around you once your gun was empty.
(Y/n) thought : well thats a waste.... guess there cowardice saved my life.
You runned back in the room finding your teammates already death with arrows in them.
(Y/n) : (walks to a body and kicks it) thanks asshole for sending me away to die and then be the one dying.
You scanned the room finding nobody else then the corpes of your teammates. You kept spinning around even looking up but the woman was nowhere in sight.
(Y/n) : well im a death man.
You didn't saw her hiding under a car with her gun out watching you look around just as scared as her.
Lara thought : he is scared like me but i can't let him stop me. I gotta safe the others and i can't be without those parts for the boat.
She aimed for your head slowy squeezing the trigger but then spotted the katana on your hip.
Lara had a flash-back when she first found the stormguards.
Lara thought : that is a katana from the stormguards ! Could he be one of them or did he stole it ? maybe he knows more about the storms or atleast the stormguards.
She rolled away from the car and pointed the gun at your back of your head but stepped on a tool making a scrathing noise on the floor.
Lara : SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She jumped behind a car when you turned around firing without aiming at her and kept firing at the car while walking behind a old tank.
(Y/n) : i won't die so easily !!
Lara : while i don't want you to die !! i just want some parts and to look if you know about the stormguards !!!!
(Y/n) :...... yeah i know about them, its a long story.
Lara : mind telling me that..... even if i killed your friends ?
(Y/n) : teammates ! I hate this group i just joined because they are always better then the stormguards.
She looked over her car when you looked from behind the tank and even a bit of dirty and dried blood from a gash on her head you thought she was the most beautiful woman you ever seen.
Lara : then what you know about them ?
(Y/n) : what you say we make a deal ? I toss my weapons away and i tell you what i know if i can go.

She watched how your machine gun, handguns, combat knife, bow and arrows, some more knifes, a small handgun, and a grenade fell from behind the tank in line of sight.
You then came with your hands up in sight with your katana in his sheath in your right hand.
Lara : drop the sword !
(Y/n) : no this thing is my baby i won't let it go on this dirty floor.
She rolled her eyes and came from her cover slowy lowering the gun that it wasn't aiming for your face.
Lara : okay tell me about the story and the stormguards, oh yeah the storms too.
(Y/n) : well my parents give me as a gift when i was a baby in return of safety and they could move to a safe place.
I was trained by them until i found out the many disgusting things and secret they had.
Lara : and that may be ?
(Y/n) : well they are to start the very first stormguards from ages ago cursed with immortality by the sun gueen by eating the flesh of there victims.
Lara : eewww !
(Y/n) : yeah and thats the tip of the mountain they would rape woman to keep up there numbers, the sun gueen is nothing else then a evil bitch who refuse to dies.
Lara : what you mean ?
(Y/n) : well this storms are created by her rage because her soul is trapped in a decaying body until it would be destroyed or she find a new host but it can only be a blood related one.
Lara knew it ! She was right all along, this storms are maked but the others things scared her.
She lowered her gun placing it back in his holter.
Lara : okay were is this body ?
(Y/n) : somewhere in a ritual chamber i believe, i left when i was 11.
Lara just looked at you for a few seconds but her gaze went to your sword.
Lara : and that katana is a stormguard weapon
(Y/n) : oh yeah when i escaped i had to kill a guard and i took the sword. Wanna hold it ?
Lara : yeah
You did't know why but you liked her for some reason enough to hand your katana over. You held it to her with a shaking hand and she slowy held the handle and sheath in her own shaking hands.
She really was interested by the sword that you could tell because she looked it over and held it like a baby made of glass that even a breath could shatter it.
Lara : is this new or a old one ?
(Y/n) : old,, there stands the old stormguard symbol on the bottom of the handle and that is only used for the swords of the very first.
She slowy pulled the sword out watching the blade shine proudly.
Lara : you take good care of it.
(Y/n) : yeah i love it.
She sheathed the sword again and handed it over.
Lara : thanks for everything,... you can go i gotta find the parts anyway.
(Y/n) : what kind of parts ?
Lara : for a boat to get of this island but first i gonna put a end to this sun gueen,
(Y/n) : well i could show where they keep the boats.
Lara : really ?
(Y/n) : yeah i don't wanna go back anyway.
She smiled and hugged you.
Timeskip
You lead her to the boats and even offered her to help look because you really did't want to go back.
Right now she was at the engine looking for the part while you kept watch on the roof.
Lara : see anything ?!!!
(Y/n) : no we're alone !
Lara : okay...... hey do you really hate those guys so much that you are keeping watch for the one who killed your team
(Y/n) : oh yeah but i need to survive.
Lara : then come with us !
(Y/n) : huh ?!
You looked down seeing her look back at you with that smile you already fell in love with.
Lara : come with us ! We can use your help and if you don't wanna stay with them you can come with us of this island.
You never really though of going of this island but you would like that especially if you could go with Lara.
(Y/n) : okay.... but hurry up we got company
She looked where you pointed and saw the shadows up survivors in the hall. She ducked down while you jumped off the roof hiding your guns behind your back while they came around the corner.
Survivor : (y/n) ! Your alive
(Y/n) : of course ! The woman got them when i was gone and i just hided here.
Survivor : smart move.
(Y/n) : yeah leaving the group too.
You pulled the gun infront of his face and blew his brain out over two guys staggering two guys while you killed the others.
You shot two at the same time in the chest and kicked another one into his friend, you used both your swords to block the swing of the next guy wielding a machete and pushed him back firing in his chest.
Two guys stood up but you runned at them and gave a knee to one guy hard enough you heard his skull break but did't care and spin kicked the other guy and then wrapped your arms around his neck and snapped it.
The kast two guys stood up pulling two swords out, you smirked and dropped the guns pulling your katana from his sheath doing it slow ao they could fear the blade. Then they both slased but you blockted it without effort and kicked one in the stomach and forge the other guys sword on the ground and then slided it over the blade while going for the guy neck.
His head flew of his body and you just stepped to the side dodging the blade of the other guy and cut his hand off.
Guy : AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You just swinged again at the neck and killed him without any mercy.
You swinged the sword around to get most of the blood of it and then did a awesome sheating motion.
Lara : show off
She stood there with a hand on her hip and the parts in a bag over her shoulder.
Lara : shall we ?
(Y/n) : gladly
Timeskip
Sailor : you be home soon
The sailor left you alone by the railing, you helped Lara safe Sam by fighting against stormguards, survivors and killed the stormguard stalker but he when you thought you killed him he stood back up and swinged.
He managed to hit your arm breaking the bones but you never heard of giving up and kept stabbing him in the back and hitting places where he did't had armor like the neck and then cut his head off.
Lara : im not going home
(Y/n) : your not ?
Lara : no.... i can't go back after this, i need answer and im gonna look for them.
(Y/n) : well not alone
Lara : what you mean ?
You stood trying not to hurt your broken arm.
(Y/n) : i lived on that place i can't go back either so going with you is my best option.
Lara : it is gonna be dangerous.
(Y/n) : good cause i freaking love it.
She smiled and kissed your cheek with love in her eyes,
Lara : thank you (y/n)
(Y/n) : its okay Lara.... i love you
Lara : i love you too
She kissed you on the lips this time wrapping her arms around you neck while trying not to press her body agianst your bad arm. You smiled and placed a hand on her hip already enjoying your 'partnership'
Sam : aaahhhh they are so cute together (takes picture)
Lara : (parts) sam delete that picture !
Sam : you have to catch me first
She took off with Lara on her heels while you just smiled and watched the oceaan wondering what the furture held.
