Shu's POV:
I was sleeping on the couch in the living room for some reason I hadn't seen Layla very much for the past week she was always away before I woke up and came back to the room after I was asleep or about to sleep whenever I asked her to cuddle with me she always said she was busy, she was hanging out with everyone but me on Monday it was with Reiji and Sake, Tuesday it was Emili and Laito, Wednesday it was with Ayato and Saya, Thursday with Talia and Kanato, Friday which was yesterday she was with Subaru and Ari. I was just waiting for her to come to me so that I didn't seem clingy or jealous even though right now I was feeling both of those things.
''Shu...'' I heard a voice say whilst shaking me I pretended not to hear it and continued to sleep well pretend since I couldn't actually sleep if Layla wasn't wrapped up in my arms ''don't make me bite you'' the voice said getting kind of annoyed I just continued to ignore it that was until I felt a weight on my chest and a rush of pleasure run from my neck through my body I opened my eyes and looked down to see Layla on top of me with her fangs in my neck and sucking my blood.
I tried my best to not let a moan slip from my mouth as I moved my hands to her waist and pulling her closer to me, she pulled away making me feel kind of annoyed that she cut it short. She looked to me wiping her mouth with her sleeve
''so now you decide to wake up huh? Well no matter lets go on a date!'' I just looked to her with my eyes wide I was starting to think maybe she wasn't interested in me anymore because she kept hanging out with everyone but me but here she was lying on me with that adorable smile and saying we should go on a date... Was she trying to turn me on? ''Look its an apology for not being with you much this week I have a very good reason being around everyone but you this week and I'll tell you but first you have to come with me''
She got out of my grip and walked towards the main entrance, I was still dumbfounded about what had just happened but I decided to just follow her she said she had a good reason and I did want to know what it was plus if I get to be alone with her why would I complain about being outside for a while.
We were walking through the dark streets hand in hand, she was taking me to some show or something that's all she told me as she dragged me into the hall and into a private love seat up in the stands,
''how did you get these seats and what is this performance anyway?'' I whispered to her before it started she looked up to me and smiled
''how I got these seats is a secret and lets just say you keep saying you want to come here and see this with me and I kept saying that I wanted to see it with you so lets just relax and enjoy and when we get back to the manor there will be a surprise for you'' she whispered back before leaning on my chest I smiled a little and wrapped my arms around her as the performance began.
It was a Violinist one of the very few humans that I actually admired I liked using her songs for practice and inspiration and having my girlfriend bring me here for no reason really made me feel bad that I doubted her love for me.

After the performance Layla and I left the concert hall smiling and talking about our favourite song performed as we walked back to the manor together I was not expecting anything to happen when we got back there because I had forgotten what Layla had told me before the performance began.
Layla's POV:
We were walking down the path to the manor I slowed my pace and stopped before we got in the door I wanted the others to hear me as I knew that Ari and Saya were on listen out duty waiting for me to return with Shu. Thing is I had planned this all week that's why I was spending time with everyone and not Shu, it was his birthday and I wanted to get help from everyone to plan an amazing surprise for him and it was my idea to take him on a special date so they could all get things ready.
''Layla what's wrong?'' Shu asked as he stopped beside me I looked up to him slightly guilty even though I was doing all this for him I felt really bad for not being with him for the whole week he must have thought that I didn't love him anymore.
''Shu I love you so much. The reason I wasn't with you all week was because I was... well it would be best just to show you come on'' I said walking to the door and just praying that I had given everyone enough time to set things up and I just hoped that they had heard that we were back with their vampire hearing
I flung the doors open to the manor and everyone jumped out pulling party poppers and shouting,
''Surprise! Happy Birthday Shu!'' I smiled and sighed in relief that everything was perfect I looked to Shu who stood there surprised it was just as I thought he had forgotten his birthday so I was able to surprise him easily. I grabbed his hand and pulled him in
''You did all this yourself?'' He asked I shook my head smiling,
''not myself I had help from everyone Reiji and Sake helped me with the planning and organising everyone's jobs. I went to Emili and Laito for help with the decorations since I know they have the best style, I asked Ayato and Saya for help with choosing a place for the distraction date, Talia and Kanato baked the cake together and Ari and Subaru put together the bouquets and decorative flowers'' I said as Shu pulled me into his chest and hugged me
''We all knew you would forget it was your birthday bro that's why it was so easy to set this up'' Ayato said smirking
''Yeah but it was Layla who came to each of us and asked for our help because she wanted to make your birthday special so we all agreed to help her'' Subaru said smiling a little with Ari nodding next to him. I looked up to Shu and smiled which he returned as we all started to have fun, Ayato, Laito, Emili and Saya all got up and danced I managed to pull Shu up and Ari and Sake managed to convince both Subaru and Reiji to dance too, whilst Talia and Kanato started to cut and plate up the cake

A couple hours later in Shu and Layla's room
I walked into our room with Shu close behind me after the party everyone else had gone to bed but before I could go and change I felt Shu grab my hand and pull me into his chest. I felt him move his face down to my neck before whispering in my ear,
''Thanks for the surprise it was the best birthday I've ever had but I still want something from you'' I smiled a little at his words I knew what it was and I was fine with it I was still technically gonna give him his present I walked backwards in his arms then spun us around and pushing him onto the bed so I was on top of him.
''I guess its lucky I still have to give you, your birthday present then isn't it?'' I whispered before biting into his neck I could tell he was suppressing a moan earlier on but not this time I could hear him moaning as I drank his blood. I started to moan when he tangled his fingers in my hair I pulled back from his neck and he flipped us over on the bed so now he was on top he stared into my eyes for a couple minuets before crashing his lips onto mine in a hot and passionate kiss making us both moaning messes.
He started to move his lips down my neck whilst unbuttoning my shirt, he threw it to the floor as he started to kiss the top of my breasts I let out a moan and arched my back towards him,
''Your such a lewd woman you know that'' he whispered huskily whilst smirking I just smirked and flipped us over again as I took off his shirt and threw it to the floor before sucking on his neck then kissing down his chest as he started to moan loudly at my touch. I placed my forehead to his and smirked as I stared into his deep blue eyes
''your one to talk, looks like I'm not the only lewd vampire in this room right now'' he just smirked again and kissed me before unzipping my skirt and his trousers adding them to the pile now I was just left in my bra and pants and he was in his boxers, he kept one hand tangled in my hair and moved the other one slowly down my body I could feel him hardening under me as I felt myself getting wet at the same time.
Still kissing me he pushed me back onto the bed and unclipped my bra throwing that and my pants to the side as I did the same with his boxers, he positioned himself at my entrance and looked to me as we were both starting to get out of breath,
''Can I?'' He said I smiled and nodded,
''yes, its not like I'm gonna feel pain like I would if I was still human right?'' I whispered he smiled and leaned down biting into my neck whilst thrusting in to me I let out a scream of pleasure as he kept thrusting into me and sucking my blood. After a while he came inside me and I came too before he fell to my side and wrapped me up in his arms.
''Best birthday ever'' he whispered before closing his eyes and falling asleep I smiled and cuddled in close to his chest,
''I can bet'' I whispered back before also falling asleep.
