Our hero's have just arrived in Vermilion City and are currently walking past The S.S Anne at the docks. It was currently 5 PM
"So that's the S.S Anne....." Serena says in awe.
"Yea that's a pretty amazing boat." Ash responds.
"And your all invited to its departure party!!" Two girls? Shouted.
"It's going on tonight! So don't be late!" One shouts handing them tickets.
"It's Coooooool!!" The other one shouts.
"Well it couldn't be to bad."
Brock says.
"Not bad!? That's the most pristine cruise ship in the world!" Misty yells.
"I say we go. It could be fun." Ash says.
"Yea! It could be a new experience." Serena adds
The group heads off to explore before 7 PM when it starts.
"Hehehehehehehehehehe...." The two girls say as they run off taking off their disguises. One turns out to be James of team rocket and the other Jessie
"Did you guys get them invited?" A Meowth asks.
"We did! Dial the boss!"
Meowth gets the boss on a hologram. They were in a warehouse
"This better be good news." Giovanni says
"It is! The plan is set! It will go in motion when the guests arrive."
Giovanni starts smiling. "Good! Now I'll be there tonight. I'll arrive in a helicopter. You know what to do."
"Yes sir! Seperate them from the rest!"
"Good. Then that's when we grab them."
"Yes sir!"
"I wish you good luck and you better get it done."
"Sir!"
The hologram disappears. "Hehehehehehehehehehe...."
"Get the chopper ready for take off." Giovanni says.
"Sir." Giovanni's assistant says.
"Today's the day."
It was now 7 PM. The group were heading for the S.S Anne.
They get on board and head to the central hall. "Wow!!" Serena shouts.
"This place is amazing!!" Ash shouts.
"You weren't kidding Misty." Brock adds.
"Of course I wasn't!"
The group were wandering around taking a look at the room.
"Hey you!" Someone shouts. "A golden Magikarp for 30 dollars!"
"I'll pass.... 30 dollars for a Magikarp?"
Misty says.
"Yea we don't want it thanks though." Ash and Serena both say.
"Ok. Whatever you don't know what your missing."
"I'm sure we do. See ya dude."
The group continues. More and more people arrive. Eventually all the people invited get there.
After a few minutes one of Ash's and one of Serena's Pokeballs get pulled off their belts and are being dragged with string away from them.
"Hey! Give those back!" Ash shouts running after the Pokeballs.
"Don't steal our Pokemon!" Serena shouts following them.
"Guys wait up!" Brock shouts. Him, Misty, Pikachu, and Charla all run after them. Before they can get through the main door that Ash and Serena went through two "helpers" closed the door.
All the other doors were closed and the helpers took off their disguises revealing them all to be Team Rocket.
Without realizing it the boat started moving away from the docks. Before long they were in open ocean.
"Ok trainers! Hand over your Pokemon! They aren't our targets but it's a plus!"
Brock and Misty know who their targets are and hide one of their Pokeballs. They still don't know why they want Ash and Serena.
All the trainers in the room started to panic as Team Rocket went around gathering their Pokemon.
"Stop! Give them back!" Ash shouts as he's chasing the Pokeballs down the hall.
"Ash!" Serena yells.
Both the trainers turn the corner to see Jessie and James of team rocket. They pick up the Pokeballs and smile at the shocked trainers.
They reach down for a Pokeball but they have none. They turn around to see they are surrounded.
"Look who we have here!" Jesse says.
"What do you want?!" Ash shouts angrily.
"Please don't you even know?! It just makes it easier for the boss to explain."
"Let us go!" Serena yells.
"Sorry! We aren't failing the boss this time!" The grunts grab Ash and Serena's arms holding them still.
There's the sound of a helicopter. "And there he is now. Let's go."
"Right!" The grunts say proudly
Ash and Serena both get hit in the head by something and both fall to the ground unconscious.
"Giovanni sir! both targets are secure." James says over a radio.
"Good. Tell the grunts to lock down that room. It's time to evacuate."
"Giovanni sir!"
All the Pokemon are being held in bags or cages. The announcement goes off on their radio and they lock all the doors. They all get out through one last unlocked door. They lock it when they get out.
"Ok Misty we need to save them both."
"That's right."
Brock sends out Geodude and Misty sends out Staryu.
Team Rocket is getting ready to leave. They are putting the two unconscious trainers in the helicopter. There was a small explosion with Brock and Misty ready to save their friends.
"Leave them alone!" Misty shouts.
"Pesky Gym Leaders." Giovanni says releasing Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn. "Double Kick and Horn drill."
Both Pokemon launch their attacks hitting the Gym Leaders Pokemon immediately knocking them out.
Both trainers are about to run and grab a Pokeball.
"Na ah ah." Giovanni says waving a remote around. "One wrong move and everyone on this boat dies"
This causes both leaders to freeze.
"Don't you know about the prophecy of the two greats?" Giovanni asks.
"Yes I've read it." Brock answers
"Don't you find it ironic that these two kids have the same names as kids described in that prophecy?"
"I thought it was just a coincidence!" Brock yells.
Giovanni smiles and reads the prophecy.
Brock and Misty's eyes widen.
"Now do you see? We are making it come true!"
"Y-you can't!! They will destroy everything!" Brock yells at him.
"Weren't you listening? All of the Pokemon with Team Rocket and Team Rocket themselves will be spared!"
"You will destroy everything else!"
Without Brock and Misty realizing it the helicopter was started and started taking off.
"Stop!!" Misty shouts running towards them.
"I said no wrong moves!" Giovanni laughs as he presses the button.
There's an explosion in the side of the boat. Brock and Misty hurry over to the side to see water rushing into nthe boat.
"Oh no!" Misty shouts.
The other passengers start panicking again.
Giovanni was laughing as he shut the side door of the Helicopter returning his Pokemon.
On the Helicopter Ash and Serena were put in the only holding cell. They were starting to wake up.
"Ah my head..... What happened?" Ash says as he sits up. He sees Serena motionless next to him and notices they are in a holding cell.
"Hey! Let us out!" Ash yells. Giovanni comes through to the back.
"Ah Ash your awake I see."
"Who are you! What do you want!?"
"We want your Power."
"What Power!!?"
"I'll explain to you in a little bit. For now you need to stay relaxed."
Serena wakes up a groans.
"Serena!" Ash shouts instantly helping her sit up.
"A-Ash? Where are we?"
"Well your on a Team Rocket helicopter heading for our base." Giovanni says.
"Everyone lets go! The boats sinking get to the life boats!" Brock yells as people rush to the lifeboats.
After all of them get off there's one lifeboat remaining and it has a motor.
"Misty call your Staryu, Starmie, and Goldeen. They'll help us catch that helicopter."
"Right!" They climb on the boat get it in the water and Brock attaches the Pokemon to the boat with ropes and they head off at full speed.
"Well you never even told us your name!" Ash shouts.
"Feisty aren't you? Well my name is Giovanni."
"Why exactly are we here?" Serena asked
"Now now my little Serena... You'll learn soon enough."
Now Ash and Serena were kinda freaked out. They didn't know how he knew their names.
"Begin the process."
"Sir!"
Two blue beams are shot at the two trainers who start feeling weak and fall to the ground.
Storm clouds were starting to form.
"Cmon Misty! It's almost to late!"
"Go as fast as Possible!"
There's an island that the helicopter lands on. Brock and Misty hear screams of pain.
"Hurry!" Brock shouts.
They make it to where the two young people are laying down. They both have red eyes replacing their original ones.
Brock picks up two Pokeballs from Team Rocket and somehow Absol and Lucario come out of them. They both look over to the two and stare in horror as to what they are seeing.
The wind was picking up and it started pouring.
"Absol?!"
"Lucario I don't know what to do!"
"I do..... Now cover me!!"
"As you wish!"
Absol growls at the two gym leaders. They release Pikachu and Cover Charla so it's flame doesn't go out.
Pikachu and Absol go in the middle of the area.
"How'd those two get out?"
Pikachu uses thunderbolt and Absol uses dark pulse. These slam into the grunt sending him into a few more.
Lucario runs to the two trainers. It feels their two foreheads and feels the light fading. He knows that whatever he has to do he has to do it quick
He closes his eyes and his body turns blue.
"Stop that Lucario!" Giovanni shouts. Multiple grunts attack but a pulse of energy comes off Lucario sending all Team Rocket flying.
This time Lucario glows a really bright blue blinding everyone. Ash and Serena's eyes all return to normal. The clouds disappear. The wind and rain stops.
The two trainers try to stand. They start panting and fall over. Lucario falls to the ground also out of energy.
Brock grabs Ash and Serena and help them walk. Misty grabs the bag of Pokeballs and chases after them.
"NO NO NO NO NOOO!!!!!!" Giovanni shouts when he wakes up hours later. "I ALMOST HAD IT!!"
Brock and Misty make it back to shore. Ash and Serena have some of their strength back. Brock and Misty have asked what happened and they keep saying they don't know.
They head to the Pokémon center where Ash and Serena immediately fall asleep
"At least this incident will stop them from grabbing Ash and Serena for a while." Brock whispers to Misty.
"I hope so." Misty responds.
With that the S.S Anne is now at the bottom of the Ocean. Team Rockets plan almost happened. It failed however and now one knows when they will strike again. All the Pokemon have been returned to their rightful trainers. Ash and Serena still have no idea about the prophecy. Hopefully they learn of it at the right time...... Vermillion City is a massive city to explore..... Find out what happens next as the Journey Continues........
