Kennedy
Monday morning. Normally a day everyone dreads right ? But not me. I loved my job simply because I was living in my dream , a dream that i've always dreamed of living. I woke up this morning with the sun in my face , and my alarm clock beeping as 9 o'clock hit. I started to get ready for work , so I could get there by 10am to start the day. I brushed my teeth , washed my face , and hit the shower..in that order.
I took about 20 minutes tops , lotioned up and proceeded to throw on my nicely ironed nurse scrubs. I did my hair in a some up , some down curly type of look with no make up. Heading out of my room I grabbed my name tag , pinning it to my blue scrubs. Jogging downstairs and grabbing my keys , I headed outside towards my car , after locking my house up and setting my security system alarm.
I got to my job , and parked in my designated parking space , heading in ready to start my day as an RN.
"Hello Ms. Kennedy" said Mrs. Shiela , as I walked up to the Nurses Station. She was one of the older nurses here , she was such a sweet lady , and i've known her since I arrived here , so about a year.
I went to my desk behind the nurses station , and sat my stuff down. I pulled my clipboard out just to check for my list of appointments that I had today
"mhmm , let's see , Bentley Jones , Skylar Williams, Ava Longoria, Tanner Wright , and Andre Brewster. Today's going to be an eventful day" I spoke aloud , to no one in particular.
"Girl they say that , that Andre Brewster is a fine specimen of a man there child" I heard Mrs. Shiela say as she was still on the phone with the patient
I couldn't help myself but to laugh "Really Mrs. Shiela?"
"Sorry girl , i'm just sharing the gossip that I hear in the hallways of this here place" She said , holding the phone back up to her hear "Excuse me ma'am , yes I am still here" she said taking the caller off hold.
I got my stethoscope, putting it around my neck , and grabbed a box of latex gloves , walking back to my desk waiting for my patients to arrive
Andre
Parking my car, I hurried into the building so I would make it to my appointment on time. I walked to the Nurses Station to get checked in , and assure that I was on time
"Hello , welcome to Aventura Hospital and Medical Center , how may I assist you today Sir?" said an older woman , who's name tag read "Mrs. Shiela"
"Goodmorning , I'm here for my 2:30 appointment with a uhhh" I scrummaged around my pocket before pulling out a piece of paper , reading the nurses name I was meeting with today. "Nurse J'aior" I said , reading her the name off the paper I was given by my doctor.
"Ahh yes , you must be Andre Brewster" She said smiling
I kindly smiled back , showing off my pearly whites , "yes ma'am, that would be me"
"Say, your that popular Real Estate Agent out here in Miami Dade" She said "I love all of your houses , i've seen all your show appearances on "House Hunters" and I was fairly impressed Mr. Brewster" she said smiling big
"Why thank you Mrs. Shiela" I smiled back "You have a nice day now , ya heard?" I said walking towards the resting area , waiting to be called back
"I surely will , you to sweety" She said back , getting back to her work
10 minutes later
"Mr. Andre Brewster" I heard my name , I walked towards the door , following the assistant nurse
"Hello , I am Nurse Jacobs , and today I will just be checking your height and weight , so can you please stand on the scale for me , shoes off" she nicely asked
I slid my shoes off , and stood on the scale while she moved the bars trying to make the scale even.
"Okay 230" She said as she wrote it down on her clipboard. "Which is good since most of it seems to be muscle" she continued looking at my nice built , we shared a laugh
"Okay now can you please step over here for me"
I walked over to the height tape that they had on the wall. She took the handle and moved it down until it was on the top of my head
"6'6, okay , now you can put your shoes back on and follow me" she said walking towards a room.
I slid on my shoes and walked behind her , sitting on the patient table as soon as we reached the room
She sat in the chair , and opened the laptop
"Can you please restate your name"
"Yes ma'am , Andre Brewster"
"and your age as well as birth date"
"26 years old , June 3rd , 1991"
"Okay Mr. Brewster , and what do you do throughout the week ? active wise?" she asked sipping her water
"When i'm not working I try to workout in my in-home gym about 4 times a week" I replied
"Alrighty" she continued "It says that you're here for a 6 week Concussion Test and check up , is that correct?"
I shook my head answering her "Yes ma'am"
"Okay , well that's all I have for you, the Nurse will be right in , in just a moment , good luck" she said walking out
"Thank you" I replied before she was fully out the door
Not even 2 minutes later after she left , there was a knock at the door
"Come in" I stated aloud
The door opened , and in walked the most beautiful nurse I have ever seen
"Hi , I'm Nurse J'aior , it's nice to meet you" She stuck her hand out and smiled
I was starstruck for a moment , I mean , this woman was truly beautiful
"Hello Beautiful, I am Andre..Andre Brewster" I grabbed her hand and kissed it
"Mhm , smooth man I see" she said , we shared a laugh before getting started
She checked my heart beat and my eyes and ears , normal check up stuff
"So it says you're here for a concussion test , correct?" She said , smiling
"Yes ma'am , Gorgeous" I said smiling back , once again showing off the pearly whites
"Aww may I ask what happened?" She said "Not for buisness purposes , just curious"
"Of course beautiful, I got off work one day , met up with some of my guys , we were playing a rather serious game of football and it all went downhill from there" I explained , replaying that day in my head over again
She looked at me with a sympathetic face "Aww poor baby , with sports you have got to be more careful , especially without helmets" she reminded me
mhmm "baby" I like that.
"Okay Mr. Brewster , all I need you to do is follow my fingers" she said as she started moving her hands left to right and up and down repeatedly
I followed her hands and didn't miss a single one
"Looks like you're off to a good start , you've passed your concussion test" she said smiling widely , see me , I couldn't get over her natural beauty
"Thank you Nurse J'aior" I said smiling , staring at her
"Now I just have some questions and then you'll be free to go" She said , but I wasn't ready to leave
"Aww man , I was having a nice time admiring your beauty" I said , making her blush
"Thank you so much" she then continued "have you been feeling any pain?"
"No ma'am"
"Dizziness or Nausea?"
"No ma'am"
"Have you been experiencing any other types of pain?" She said typing everything on her computer
"No ma'am" I said one last time
"Okay well it seems like you're all good , just take it easy and slowly get back into old things , any questions you have for me? " She asked
I didn't want to seem to pushy so I just said I was good
"I just have to ask , aren't you that popular Real Estate Agent here in Miami Dade" She asked pointing at me , as if she solved a case or something
"Yes beautiful, and aren't you that popular yet most beautiful Nurse out here, in all of Miami Dade" He replied back
We shared another laugh together
"You are just to cute and kind , but yes Sir , that would be me" She replied
"Well since we're having this conversation, what's your name sweets?" I asked nicely

Sweet baby Jesus , Mrs. Shiela was NOT lying when she said this man was as fine as all out doors.
"My name is Kennedy , Kennedy J'aior" I replied back smiling
"How exactly do you pronounce that?"
I laughed and sounded it out for him because a lot of people have trouble with my last name
"It's Jaa-Or..kind of like Jay and Shay mixed together in the beginning and then just -Or , at the end" I explained
"Mhm, So like Jshaa-Or?" He said trying to say it , It was the cutest thing ever
"Yes sir , you got it" I said giggling
"I like it , beautiful name for a beautiful woman" He replied
Lordy , I just knew I was blushing
"Thank you so much , you're too kind"
"Your husband is a very lucky man" He said , I quickly shut that down immediately
"Ohhh nooo Mr. Brewster , actually i'm very single" I replied causing him to smile like he hit the jackpot
"Wow , me too, may I ask why?"
"A little personal , but I actually am tired of "just dating" ya know? I know im only 24 but I don't have time or energy to do that anymore , I just want a good man , so we can come home to eachother and enjoy eachother's company after a long days work , a man who knows the true value of a woman" I replied "Sorry I didn't mean to go in so deep" I apologized
"No don't apologize, I understand 100% , as a man whom is also looking for the same things" He replied
We both just smirked at eachother
"Really wish I didn't have to cut this short , but I have another appointment soon" I said with a little sad face
"Oh no that's fine , I had a nice time talking to you" He said getting off the table
"Me too , do you have any more questions for me Mr. Brewster?" I asked one last time
"Call me Andre , and actually I was wondering if I could take you out to eat sometime"
"Wow , I would love that , thank you" I smiled widely
"Okay , thats great , i'll pick you up say Saturday night around 8:30?" He looked down at me , being that he was 6'6 and I was a petite 5'3
"That sounds great , here , let me give you my number" I said as he pulled out his phone and I pulled out mine so that he could do the same
I typed in my info and saved my name as "Kennedy💘" and returned his phone to him , he did the same and I laughed once I seen what he saved his name as
"FutureHusband❤️💍 , really ?" I said as we both laughed
"What ? It's true" He said smiling all goofy
"Oh is it now?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Well I wouldn't mind having a fine specimen of a man like yourself as a husband , so i'm gonna hold you to that" I said being a little flirty
"And I will be sure to deliver and make you my beautiful ass future wife" He said
"Okay , get on out of here , see you Saturday" I said laughing , while changing the sheets on the table
"Okay beautiful , see you Saturday" he said , giving me a hug , I hugged him back and grabbed my computer , leading the way out to the front again
I looked on my list for the name of my next patient , as Andre walked past me giving me one last hug , before walking towards the exit
"mhmm ,I seen that" I heard Mrs. Shiela say from the Nurses Station
I couldn't help myself but to laugh , I mean this lady cracks me up
"You're a trip Mrs. Shiela" I said with Andre still on my mind even though he hasnt even left the building yet..could he really be that good man that i've been looking for?

"Ava Longoria" I heard Kennedy say , calling for her next patient as I left out the office door
I smirked to myself knowing I have a date with the most beautiful woman I ever laid eyes on. I meant what I said about making her my wife in the future , i'm tired of the same old starting over , i'm getting older and those are childish games that i'm done with..but could she really be that good woman that i've been waiting on all this time?
