Emily POV
I spun around while looking at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a dark blue dress that had one strap. It had a sparkly belt and it went down to my knees. I did light makeup and put on my aunts necklace. Then I had on some black heels.
I opened my door and walked downstairs. Austin and Evan were by the door in suits, Evan's matched my dress. I was walking down the stairs when the boys saw me, making Austin run over to me pulling me into a hug.
"Em. You look great." He whispered into my ear. I hugged him back.
"Thanks. You look very handsome." I said letting go of him and Evan replacing his spot to grab my hand. He took my hand and kissed it smiling at me, and then pulled me to the car.
"Wait. Where is Alex?" I said to Austin. I was sitting in the back while the boys were sitting up front.
"We are going to pick her up." I nodded. We pulled up at Alex's house and she came out. She was wearing a white dress that went down to her knees. It had a sweetheart neckline and she had some white heels. She got in the car next to me.
"Alex you look great!" I exclaimed.
"Thanks. You look amazing, too!" She said back. I turned back forwards and looked at Austin.
"Austin. Who's Christmas party is this?" I asked him.
"Mine." Austin said looking at the road. I sat back in my seat and looked out the window. A few minutes later the car stopped outside this really nice house. We all got out. Alex and I gasped at the house. There were tons of people walking around and entering. Evan wrapped his arm around my waist and I saw Austin take Alex's hand.
Austin and Alex walked in first with us behind them. Austin showed us over to this lady who looked a lot like him.
This must be his mother.
She had Austin's blonde hair, but she had blue eyes. Her hair was pulled into a neat bun. She had a simple dark blue dress on.
Austin hugged his mother and then she turned to us.
"Oh. Evan!" She exclaimed while hugging him. Then she looked at me. "You must be Emily. Austin has told all about you."
I looked over at Austin and he was blushing. "Oh really. I hope all good things." I said.
"Yes. Very good things." Them she turned to Alex. "You must be Alex. He has also told me a lot about you."
Austin's face was blushing really hard after she said that. Alex was blushing as well. I laughed to myself and Evan held my hand. He pulled me over to the table with our names on it. We both sat down.
"Em. Do you want anything to drink?" Evan asked me.
"Some water please." I replied.
"Ok. I'll be right back." He walk away. I sat there and then a little girl walked up to me. She had blonde hair and brown eyes. She was probably around 3.
"Hello. You are very pretty." She said sitting next to me.
"You are pretty as well. Do you have a brother?" I asked her. She nodded.
"His name is Austin."
Oh. That's why she looks just like Austin.
"Oh. He is one of my best friends." I said to her. She gasped and I laughed. Then she grabbed my hand and tried to get me to stand up.
"Come dance with me." She said. I nodded and stood up. We walked over to the dance floor. I took her hands before we got to the floor.
"I never got your name?" I said to the little girl.
"Tessa."
"I'm Emily." She just nodded and we walked on to the floor. I took her hands and spun her around. We moved back and forth till the end of the song. Then I saw some familiar blue eyes. I found Evan watching me. I smiled at him.
I grabbed Tessa's hand and pulled her off the floor. We walked back over to our table. She let go of my hand and ran to Evan.
"Uncle Evan!!!" Tessa screamed. He picked her up and spun her around. I sat down. Evan was on one side of me and Austin was on the other side. I looked at Austin.
"Your little sister is really cute." I said to him.
"Thanks. She and my other sister are Devils." He said laughing.
"You have another sister?!?" I exclaimed.
"Yeah. She is 6. Her name is Sophie. She looks nothing like me, so you will probably not notice her." He explained. I nodded then somebody tapped on my back. I turned to find Evan holding his hand out.
"May I have this dance." He said as a slow song came on.
"You may." I said getting up. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me to the floor. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he put his around my waist. I rested my head on his chest as we swayed back and forth.
"I never got to tell you. You look absolutely stunning tonight." Evan whispered into my ear. I laugh and pulled myself closer to him. He then pulled out and spun me. After the song we went back to our seats and enjoyed the rest of the night.

Evan POV
Me and Emily were dancing and she started to fall asleep. I picked her up bridal style and walked back to the table. It was already midnight. I saw Alex sleeping against Austin's chest.
"I think we should go." I said quite so the girls would not wake up. Austin just nodded. He picked up Alex and we walked to the door. We sat them in the car and he drove us home. He parked and I got out. I picked up Emily and carried her inside.
I walked her up to her room and I sat her down in bed. I didn't want to change her with out her permission, so I let her sleep in her dress. I then went to my room. I got undressed and got a quick shower. Then I fell asleep.

I woke in the middle of the night to yelling. I got up quickly and ran to Emily's room. Emily was in bed moving all around yelling.
"No! Don't touch them!!! Caleb!! Don't leave me!!! I need you!!!" Emily screamed.
CALEB?!?! Who the heck is that!!!
I brushed off that thought and ran over to her. I stood next to her and started shaking her. She kept screaming with tears running down her face. I ended up straddling her trying to get her awake.
"Emily. It's me your ok." I said shaking her. Her eyes shot open and she screamed, "Caleb!!"
I pulled her into a hug. She cried into my shoulder for a few minutes.
"Em. It's ok. I'm right here. It's ok." I said quietly. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes.
"Sorry. I woke you up again." She said.
"I will always help you." I said to her holding her tight. After a few minutes she calmed down. I looked at her.
"Do you want to go back to sleep?" I asked. She shook her head. She then stood up and walked out of the room. I followed her out and she walked down the stairs. She unlocked the front door and ran out. I quickly ran after her. I walked outside to find her sitting on the porch steps.
"Em. Are you ok." I asked her as I sat down next to her. She shook her head. I just looked at her.
"Em. I know this is not a great time. And it's kinda late, but....." I started.
"Would you go to the Winter Ball with me?" She just looked up and then she broke into a smile.
"Yes." She said wrapped her arms around my neck pulling her into a hug. I knew that I already had everything. I got the dress color from Alex and I went out and bought everything a few days before. We had school Monday and the dance was that night. Then we would go on winter break.
I hugged Emily really tight not wanting to let go.
"I love you Em and I hope one day you will tell me everything." I said into her ear. She then pulled away.
"You want to know who Caleb is a suppose?" She asked me. I nodded.
"If it's a old boyfriend that hurt you. I swear I will go hurt him!" I said getting angry. All Emily did was laugh.
"Is Evan jealous. Sorry Evan, but I kinda wish that is was an old boyfriend." She said this and then she stood up. "We need to go somewhere."
I nodded and followed her to her car. She drove us over to her old house. She then unlocked the door and took me upstairs to a room that had a lock on it. She unlocked the door and we both walked in.
It was a nursery.

Emily POV
I haven't walked into Caleb's nursery in forever. A tear escaped down my face. Evan comforted me. We sat down on the floor and I started the explanation.
"My mother was 8 months pregnant when we got in the car crash. We knew the gender and the name of the baby already. When the car crash happened they could not save the baby." I choked on the last few words, but I kept going.
"Caleb was supposed to be my new baby brother. But he didn't even get a chance to live."
