Liz's P.O.V :
He was kissing me...
I freed my hands somehow and pushed him hard with all my strength.
He stumbled and fell on the couch.
''Stop it James...please stop your nonsense. Do you know what you are telling? If i would have wanted to kill you then there were so many ways and many opportunities for me to kill you... i am not that stupid that i will leave the evidence behind me...''
He stood up from the couch and started to walk towards me.
''STOP WHERE YOU ARE...'' I shouted angrily and he froze in his place.
''I was not getting my mobile phone from last night. And don't you have brain to think that it might have fell in your car last night when you forced me into your car?''
He was listening to me without uttering a word.
''And about that girl...did you see her face? And why you are threatening me?... What about you? You know if i want i can put you in the prison in a moment because of this..'' i showed the marks on my arms.
''I could have case a file against you for last night...and also for your driving in a drunk state..you not only risked your life but mine too...''
''What have i done to you? From the very first day you are behaving with me like a b****. What is my fault? You have hurt me whenever you wanted. I am human Mr. James Ashton i can feel...i can feel the pain...i was trying to cope up with you..i was hoping that you will change...but no..day by day you are hurting me more and more....but why? Why are you so mean to me?''
I started crying. I couldn't take it anymore. I said all of it what i was having in my heart.
He was standing there like a robot with no emotion.
''Answer me...why you hate me so much? What have i done?''
There was no response so i opened the door to let him out.
''I want you.'' He whispered.

I looked at him.
''I want you.'' He said it a little louder.

Stupid question Liz!! A crazy person is never going to admit it that he is crazy.

''Why did your ex-boss fired you?'' He asked suddenly.

''That is none of your business. And if you can't answer my question then i am also not going to answer you.'' I said crossing my hands.
''I already gave you the answer.'' He said without any emotion.

Really? Liz are you okay? He said it two times but where was your mind that you didn't hear it?
''I..i..didn't get it.'' I said it like a fool.
''I WANT YOU...THAT IS THE ANSWER. Now answer me''
WHOA!! is he serious?
''That is not a proper answer Mr. James Ashton.'' I said in an irritating voice.
He came towards me.
''Why did he fire you?'' He asked dangerously.
''You want yo know why? Because of THIS. Because he was same like you. He put his hands on me...he was a perverted old b****. He said to everyone that he fired me.. only to save his reputation. That was not the reality... i resigned. Yes i gave the resignation because i was not wanting to work with him...and i am going to do the same thing again..'' i spat at him.
I could see the shocking expression on his face.
''What do you mean?'' He asked narrowing his eyes.
''I am resigning.''
His eyes went wide.
''You can't.''
''Yes i can. You are no one to decide it. Even the company is not yours. I want to live in peace and that i will get only when i will be away from you.'' I said looking into his eyes.
He said nothing and went out.
I closed the door and leaned on it.
You did the right thing Liz...you need to be away from him..
But..who tried to kill him? Who was that girl?
Sh*t!! He went alone and he is not having any car. What if she again tries to...
I hurriedly dialled Dave's number and told him to pick him up as soon as possible.
But i don't think he would come that early...
I went out of my room and ran towards the elevator but i stopped and hide behind the wall of the corridor as i saw him standing there with both of his hands on the wall...and he was looking at the ground..
He was looking...sad?
He fisted his hands on the wall and the next thing i knew he punched it and blood started dripping from his stitched palm...

James' P.O.V :
I came out of her apartment and was going towards the elevator..
Why do you have to be so rude to her?
You have again hurt her...
I put both of my hands on the wall and took a huge breath.
You were wrong James...you were wrong about her...
I could tell she is not lying...she didn't try to kill me...
But..you tried to...she could have case a file against you about last night...but she didn't...and here you are blaming her...
But she is right she needs to be away from me....NO!!

I punched the wall...sh*t!!
I forgot i was having stitches on it.
Damn!! It hurts!!
I closed my eyes to control the pain.
I felt a soft hand on my shoulder.
I turned to see her.
''Come..inside..'' she said while tugging my hand.
I said nothing but followed her.
Why are you so...caring?
I always hurt you but you always cared for me...

She opened her door and let me inside.
''Sit here.'' She said referring to the couch but not looking at me.
I sat there and rest my elbow on my knee.
The blood was dripping...i think it needed to be stitched again..
She came after sometime with the first aid kit. I lifted my eyes to looked at her but she was not looking at me. There was no emotion on her face.
She started cleaning the blood with her shaking hands.
She bandaged it and put the kit back to it's place.
''You need a doctor.'' She said.
I nodded.
She sat at the end of the couch.
''Dave will be here soon. I have called him.''
I again nodded.

Liz's P.O.V :
He again nodded.
Lost your tongue in a battle?
He was staring at me which was making me uncomfortable.
''Don't resign.'' He said softly.
What?
''Why?'' I asked out of curiousity.
You were desperate to fire me and now you don't want me to resign?
''I don't know.'' He said in a confused tone.
You are impossible.
''It will be better for both of us.'' I said sighing.
''No.'' He looked into my eyes.
''What No?'' I asked.
''I...i...look...i don't want you to work for someone else...if you want to keep a distance between us then fine i will try to not bother you anymore but...you will not work for...''
he was nervous?
''Who are you? My father?'' I asked in an irritating voice.
He scrunched his brows and i could see he is getting angry.
''I told you i will keep a distance..and i will not hurt you anymore...but you will work for me.'' He said frustrated.
Why do you get frustrated so easily?
''But why? You wanted to fire me.'' I demanded.
''Because...you are a capable assistant?'' He said thoughtfully.
''You will get thousands of them like me.'' I said and stood up.
I could say he was getting angrier.
''STOP IT!!'' He said clenching his teeth.
You are doing the same thing again Liz!!
Why don't you give him a chance and see what he can do.
''Fine. But for a month.''
''What do you mean?'' He stood up too.
''I mean i will work for you for a month...and within this time if you behaved properly then i will not resign but...if you did something which i dislike then i will leave the job.''
He was giving me a death glare but i didn't averted my eyes.
There was a knock at the door so i went towards it. I was about to opened it...
''FINE.'' I heard his voice from behind.
I closed my eyes.
Please God!! Let this month go in peace with no trouble.
I opened the door to see Ben and a sweating Dave.
''Where is he? I searched him everywhere in the parking lot and the guards said he didn't came to the gate.'' He was panicking.
''He is here.'' I let them entered.
''God Man! You are such a Jerk.'' He said to him.
''Whoa!! What have you done with your hand again?'' He asked looking at his hand.
''Take him to the doctor.'' I said looking at James.
He said nothing but went out of the apartment.
Maybe he is getting better...right?
