Katniss POV- (The next night)

"Peeta, I think I want to tell everyone else about the baby." I say in the middle of dinner.

He looks up from his food and so does Willow.

"How do you want to do it?"

"I don't want to do it in person. I think we should do it the way we did with Willow." I tell him.

Peeta nods and Willow looks at me, "How did you tell everyone about me?"

"We sent a little card that had it on there." Peeta tells her.

"Oh."

"I bet we have one somewhere." I say.

"Can you find it?" Willow asks me.

"Yeah, maybe sometime I can find it." I tell her.

"Okay." Willow says.

"What do you want it to say?" Peeta asks me a second later.

I shrug my shoulders, "Should we wait until we find the gender?"

"I don't care, Katniss. Whatever you want to do." He says nonchalantly.

"Do you just not care at all or like you just don't care about what I decide to do?" I snap at him.

"Baby, I care about it but I was saying I will be fine with however you choose to do it." He says calmly, not affected by my sassiness.

The last few days I've been so quick to anger, maybe it's from being sick or pregnant.

Or both.

Peeta brings me the laptop and Willow comes over and sits in my lap, while Peeta does the dishes.

Willow and I find a pretty simple but cute announcement card and agree upon it-I show Peeta and he agrees too so I order them.

"Willow, you're birthday is coming up. Do you know what you want to do?" Peeta asks her, coming over and sitting at the table next to us.

She sighs, "I don't know, Daddy. I want a cake though, please?"

He nods.

"Do you want to have a birthday party? We could invite your friends from school and Finn and Carter too." I suggest to her.

"Oh, okay. Yeah, that sounds-ed kind of fun."

I give Peeta a look and he nods.

"Do you want to have your party here or maybe at the park if it's nice? Any where you want." I say.

"I think I want to have it here." She tells me.

I nod my head.

"What do you want to do at your party?" Peeta asks her.

She shrugs, "I don't know."

"We could have a painting party, I bet Daddy would let you do that if you wanted to." I suggest to her.

"Yeah, Willow. That might be really really fun." Peeta says nodding.

I can tell he hopes she agrees upon it.

Willow smiles excitedly, "Oh, yes. I like that idea. I want to do that." She says nodding her head.

I smile, glad I suggested something she likes for once.

"Okay, well here, you and Momma write down everyone you want to invite so we know how much stuff to buy and how many invitations we will need." Peeta says, taking a notebook and pen off the counter top and handing it to me.

She takes a deep breath and says, "I want to invite all our family. Bristle, Blake, Carter, Carson, Finnick, Annie, Finn, Johanna, Fresh, Clover, Cato, Glimmer, Marvel, Gale, Madge, and my great-grandma and great-grandpa and great-great grandma too." Willow tells me all in one breath.

I laugh, trying to get everyone's names written down as quickly as I can before she starts naming off others.

"Who else?" I ask after I finally manage to write down everyone's names from the first bunch she suggested.

"And Bentley, Meadow, and Paisley." She names off her three friends in her class.

I nod and write their names down.

"Is that all?" I ask.

"You and Daddy can be invited too." She says like it was such a hard decision and she's finally come to the conclusion that she will also us to come.

I laugh a little and Peeta scoffs.

"Momma, can I invite my grandma?" Willow asks me after a few seconds, looking me right in the eyes.

"We are. We are inviting all your grandparents." I say.

I forgot Peeta told her about our families and my mom.

"No. I want to invite your mom." Willow says.

The look on her face tells me she's serious and that it means a lot to her.

I freeze, not at all expecting that.

Peeta nearly let's out a gasp, "Willow-"

I cut him off, "Sure. If you want to we can." I say making up my mind way quicker than I had intended to.

Peeta told me about their conversation over our families a few weeks ago.

Willow knows my mother is alive and know she just doesn't want to have anything to do with us-she probably won't come anyways. But if Willow wants to invite her, I'm not going to stop her.

Peeta looks at me like I've lost it.

I nod my head, confirming my decision and he shrugs his shoulders.

I write my mother's name down and read through it, making sure we didn't forget anyone.

"Done?" I ask.

Willow nods, "Yup."

I mark little checks by the names of all the kids so that we know how much painting stuff to buy and I tally up a total of about 25 people to invite.

"There is one other person from school, Momma." She tells me after a second.

"Who is it?" I ask her.

She sighs, "My friend Iris. Her is in first grade with Carter and Finn but she is so nice to us."

"Okay, sweetie. Is that all?"

"Yeah."

I smile, "Alright. Now what do you want me and Daddy to buy you for your birthday?"

"I think I want a bike." Willow says.

It's the first time she's actually given us an answer other than a coloring book or crayons or anything art related.

I look back at Peeta and he smiles a little.

"Oh okay. Is that it?"

"Yup, I think so. Maybe some more clothes."

I nod my head and kiss the side of her head.

"I can't believe you're gonna be six years old."

"Me neither, Momma." Willow sighs, shaking her head.

I laugh a little.

"And you're gonna be a big sister this year too." Peeta reminds her.

"I know. I am esited." Willow says hugging me.

I smile tiredly, "You're gonna be the best big sister ever." I tell her.

"Yep. And in just a few weeks or maybe a little longer we get to find out if the baby is a girl or boy." Peeta tells her.

"Oh. I think it's a sister." Willow tells me.

I chuckle, "You think it is or you want it to be?"

"Both." Willow nods and smiles a little.

I look at Peeta and he laughs.

"Mommy, I am sleepy." She tells me after a second and yawns.

"I'm sleepy too. It's almost bed time too, that's why." I say looking at the clock.

"Do you feel better than you did?" Willow asks me softly, putting her hand on my cheek.

"I feel a lot better, baby." I say.

"You look really sick still." Willow tells me bluntly. I know she's meaning to sound like that but I ignore it.

"I'm okay. I'm just really sleepy and kind of sore too."

Willow frowns, "Oh. I'm sorry. Why are you sore?"

"I don't know. I think it's because I was so sick." I shrug.

She nods, "I hope you feel so much better tomorrow." Willow tells me and kisses my nose.

I smile a little, "Thank you."

Peeta stands up, "Willow, how about me and Mommy go put you to bed?"

Willow climbs out of my lap, "Let's go." She says taking my hand, 'pulling' me up.

We go upstairs and Peeta tucks her in.

I sit next to him on the edge of her bed while he talks to her softly as her eyelids flutter shut and she's asleep.

Afterwards Peeta and I sneak out and back down stairs. He locks up and then we head to our room.

"You really want to tell everyone?"

I nod my head.

"Okay." He says and walks into the bathroom. I get undressed and slip into bed, pulling the covers up to my ears and face Peeta's side of the bed.

A few minutes later he comes out and flips the lights out and then crawls into bed next to me.

"Are you sleepy?" He laughs.

Usually I am not this ready for bed but tonight I am.

"Yes." I say.

Peeta scoots closer to me and I take his hand and hold it against my chest and our legs intertwine.

"I'm freezing." I tell him as his warm body touches mine.

He laughs a little, "Really? I'm hot." Peeta says.

I smile a little, "Yeah you are. In more ways than temperature." I joke.

Peeta laughs, "As are you."

"Thanks." I say sarcastically, laughing a little.

"You're actually not hot. You're beautiful and very sexy."

"I'm sexy?" I laugh.

Peeta nods his head.

"You're dumb."

"But I'm hot so it doesn't matter and you married me." He tells me.

I giggle a little, "Gosh, I love you."

"I love you too." He says leaning over and pressing a kiss to my lips.

He smiles, "We need to start finding names."

"I thought we already agreed we would wait until we found out what it was?"

"I know but I'm so anxious to do something. Waiting is so hard. This way once we find out, then we will now and now we don't have to call it 'the baby' we can call it whatever or whatever." He explains.

I snort, "Whatever or whatever?"

"You know what I mean." Peeta laughs.

I sigh, "But I don't know what I want to name it."

"We need a boy and girl name. Then whatever we have we will name it whatever name we chose." He tells me.

I laugh, "Do you have any suggestions?"

"I think if we have another girl, we should really name her something after Prim since we didn't with Willow." He tells me.

I nod my head.

"Do you think another nature name?"

"I like the idea of keeping it that way. At least through our kids." I tell him truthfully. Prim and I were both named after things in nature and so is Willow.

"Even if it's a boy?" Peeta asks.

I shrug, "I don't know. If it's a boy could name it after a bread like you." I laugh.

He chuckles, "No. Poor kid. We would have to find something else. I don't know any type of bread that would sound good for a name. Not even Peeta."

I laugh, "Peeta Junior."

He smirks, shaking his head, "I don't think so."

"Why not? Don't you like your name?"

"I hate my name. You know that."

I laugh, "I hate mine too."

"We could name it like Willow suggested?" He jokes.

"Cheesebun?" I ask him laughing.

He nods and I roll my eyes, "Name off some bread and let's see if any go with Mellark." I tell him.

"Katniss, I do not want to name our kid anything to do with bread. Plant names I'm fine with. Even if it's a boy." He tells me.

I laugh, "Show me how many breads you can name off. It might give me a good laugh."

"Or make you hungry."

"Probably."

"There is yeast bread." He says.

"And?"

"There is pita bread."

I chuckles "And."

"Katniss, there's not many types of bread names. That's why my brother's had normal names and my mom hated me so she gave me a name no body would ever think to name their child." He says.

"Maybe not. Maybe your dad came up with it. He was the baker."

"True but I don't know. He should've come up with it before I was born."

"I love your name so hush." I tell him and kiss the back of his hand.

"Well, I love your name too."

"Good." I tease.

He smiles a little at me, "Our conversations are pretty ridiculous. You do know that, don't you?"

"Yes. I've been with you for over ten years. I've figured that out." I tell him with a smile.

"You don't know any boy names you like?"

I shake my head, "I don't know why but I really think this one is a girl too. Maybe it's just because I'm pregnant and Willow was a girl and maybe I'm just gonna think that until I get told otherwise or get confirmation on it."

"You really think it's a girl?"

I nod my head.

"I'm thinking so too but I don't really know what I think." He says.

"So we got nowhere with that conversation except to confirm we are probably gonna keep plant names if there's any names we like for girls and we are definitely not naming it after bread."

Peeta chuckles, "I guess so."

I shake my head, "I got to name Willow what I wanted so you can name this one whatever you want."

"But I want to name them Cheesebun like Willow suggested."

I scoff, "Except that."

"Fine. I guess I won't do that to our baby." He laughs a little.

"That would be evil to do."

"It would be a cute nickname."

"Willow doesn't even have a nickname."

"But she could."

"No. I like what you said about the reason you haven't ever nicknamed me."

"What? About not changing your name because I thought it is beautiful the way it is?"

I nod.

"I lied." He says and I can tell by the tone of his voice that he's not.

I laugh a playfully slap his arm, "You were not or else after ten years you would've called me something like 'Kat' or something."

"I have called you 'Kitty-Kat' making fun of Finnick."

"I know but you haven't actually used anything but my real name when you talk to me. I mean you say like 'baby' or whatever but you never actually play with my name."

He smiles, "And I probably won't ever. I  honestly am probably gonna call Willow, 'Willow' for the rest of her life."

I smile, "Then you can't call this kid 'Cheesebun' unless it's their actual name."

"Yeah, it won't be. Don't worry." Peeta laughs.

"Do you have any girl names you like?" I ask him.

"Not really. Not any plant or nature ones I don't think."

"I like Ivy. It's a plant."

"I like that." He nods.

"Or there's Bay. It's a tree." I shrug.

"Hmmm." Peeta says, and I can tell he doesn't like it.

I sigh, "I don't know, Peeta. Maybe we should go a different route for girl names."

"There's still a possibility of it being a boy." Peeta reminds me.

"I know that but we both think it's a girl. Do you know any boy nature names?"

He shakes his head.

"I don't know, Peeta. What if we dropped the plant thing completely?"

"I don't know."

"Me either."

"Do you like any names that aren't plant-related?"

I nod, "I think Harper for a girl. I like Willow's friends names too but we can't really use those. I mean we could but I want something none of us have heard before."

"What are their names again?"

"She only talks about them on and on everyday when we pick her up."

He makes a face, "I know that but I don't listen all that much."

"Obviously not." I laugh.

"Tell me."

"There's one girl named Meadow. Then one named Iris and one name Paisley."

"Isn't one named Bentley?"

I nod.

"That could be for a boy or girl."

"I like it but did you like the other names?"

"I guess."

I groan, "This is so hard."

"We can stop talking about it if you want." He says, seeing that I'm growing frustrated.

"I'm sorry, I just don't know yet. I really really really think it's a girl but what if it's a boy?"

"I don't know."

I sigh, "Me either."

"Just don't worry about it. We have a few names we agreed on and I'll write them down in the morning so we can remember. Then if we come across anymore we like we will write them down. Then once we find out what it is, we can mark off the ones we don't really like until we figure out what we do." He tells me calmly.

I sigh, "Okay."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad."

"I'm not mad." I tell him truthfully.

He nods.

"I love talking about this kind of stuff but it's kind of hard to do when we don't know."

"I know. Just a few more weeks, sweetheart."

I nod my head.

"I'm sorry I'm bringing this all up. I'm just so excited."

"It's alright. I'm excited too and I'm glad you are too."

He smiles, "Do you remember when Willow was born?"

"I was there and all I really remember is it hurt like hell but I was so happy. I remember we both cried." I whisper to him.

"I remember that too. I don't think I ever saw you so happy before that moment and I know the first few months were really rough for you but since then, you've been so super happy. Please, tell me that you'll stay happy after this baby is born?"

"Peeta, I will honestly try. You know I couldn't help anything but I've changed a lot in six years. I can't promise anything but I will say I will try my hardest."

"That's all I ask. I just want you to enjoy this all, especially since we tried so hard and waited a long time for this. I'm just so proud of you-I just want you to be able to fully enjoy it." Peeta tells me softly.

I frown, "Thank you and you know I can't help anything I feel, especially if I get postpartum depression again. But I promise I will try my hardest to do what I can. I don't want to be back to where I was ever again and I'll do anything I can to try and prevent it if I can." I assure him.

I've already thought about it mildly but for him to bring it up too means that I need to think about it more than I have. Probably even talk to Doctor Coles to see if there's anything to do to prevent it.

"Thank you. I just want you to be able to fully enjoy this all, especially if it's our last kid." Peeta nods.

"It may not be but I'm just saying it's highly unlikely I'm gonna let you get me pregnant ever again." I laugh a little.

He smiles a little, "Oh well. I'll be alright, I promise. I was so lucky to get Willow, let alone another one."

"Just because I love you." I say.

That's however not true.

I went through with it both times because I love Peeta more than anything, and he deserves it more than any man. Plus I did it for myself because I knew I wanted it just as badly as he did.

"Well, I love you too. Let's get to bed though because I have to go back to work after tomorrow."

"You know you're quitting after the baby is born." I tease him.

Peeta snorts, "We own it so I can't really quit and besides that I gotta make that money."

I chuckle, rolling my eyes.

"Then I get the job back as 'Stay-At-Home-Mom.'" I say squeezing Gus hand.

"I bet you miss it."

"Actually, I do miss it so so so much. I just think it's gonna be exhausting having a baby again and then a six year old." I shrug.

"I'll be here to help you with both of them. Don't you worry. We got in this together, we are in it together until you need a break." Peeta says.

I feel a little smile creep up on my face.

"Okay, well I don't know about you but I'm going to sleep. It is 9:30 on a Saturday night and I don't even care." Peeta tells me with a tired laugh.

I chuckle, realizing how heavy my eyes are, "That's when you know you're a parent and that your wife is needy."

"I call it pregnancy." He laughs.

"Oh. You're so sweet." I say sarcastically laughing.

He snorts, "I try my hardest."

"Go to sleep."

"You go to sleep. You've been complaining to me about how tired you are." He teases me.

"Goodnight, Peeta. I love you." I mumble softly, closing my eyes.

Peeta brings his head up and he steadies himself on his elbows, leaning down and giving me a short, but passionate kiss.

"I love you too, so very much. Forever and always." He says softly and lays back down.

"Forever and always." I repeat, closing my eyes again.
