Mina's POV
"Mina?" Somebody called me.
I slowly opened my eyes finding Jungkook next to me. I quickly got up embarrassed.
"sorry! Um... I should go now!" I said.
I stood up and walked away as fast as I can.
"Wait!" Jungkook called me before I could even leave the park.
I stopped and turned around facing him. He stood up and walked up to me.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Um... do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously.
I was shocked at the question but quickly rejected him, "No!"
He looked so surprised since I rejected him 0.5 seconds after he asked me.
"I mean it's not like I hate you or anything but I thought you have a girlfriend" I said.
"Well, she's not really my girlfriend, she's just one of those girls I played with but you are different!" he said and I looked at him shocked.
"I'm sorry but I don't date players" I said.
"But..."
"No buts, even if you weren't a player, I can't date you" I said and he looked at the ground sadly.
Even though I acted normal, I was shocked. I mean who wouldn't when a guy that you don't even know asked you out and that guy is Jeon Jungkook! A member of BTS and a popular playboy.
"Sorry.. I know it's complicated but..okay how about this?" He asked and I looked at him confused.
"Then can we just be friends? I'll show you that I'm no longer a playboy. And when the time is right, I'll ask you again" He said and I hesitantly nodded.
'Is he being sincere or will he act like he changed? What if I open up to him and he dumps me like he did to other girls?' So many thoughts were going in my mind.
He smiled widely at my approval and hugged me. I quickly pushed him away and looked at the ground.
"Omg! I'm so sorry I just got really happy" He said.
"It's okay.. I better go before my dad yells at me" I said but quickly covered my mouth.
'I can't let him know' I thought.
"You know overprotective parents" I laughed trying to make an excuse.
"Yeah, I understand... well I better go now. See you tomorrow Mina" He said smiling.
"Ok see you tomorrow" I replied.
He walked away and I quickly ran back to the house. As expected, when I went inside the house my dad yelled at me.
"Where have you been?! Are you flirting with boys you slut! How dare you flirt with guys when you need to study!" My dad yelled.
"I'm sorry dad" I said as I looked at the ground.
"Go upstairs and study!" He yelled angrily.
I quickly bowed and ran upstairs. I closed the door and got my homework from my backpack and started doing it. I finished all my homework and I started studying for the math exam. Math is easy so I think I could get a 100%. No! I NEED to get a 100% or my dad will punish me again. I studied until midnight and went to bed.
Next morning
I woke up and did my usual morning routine and left the house.
As I was walking, Jungkook came and greeted me,"Hey Mina!".
"Hey Jungkook" I replied smiling weakly.
"Are you ok?" He asked.
"Yeah, just worried about the math test" I said.
"Don't worry! You'll get a 100% because you are smart!" He said cheerfully and that someone made me happy.
"Thanks! Feeling much better!" I smiled.
We were talking about random things and I found out that we have lots of things in common. When we arrived at school, students were staring at us and whispered among themselves. I mean who wouldn't when a girl that's a nobody at this school walked inside the school talking to the school kingka.
"Don't worry about them" Jungkook whispered and I just nodded.
We went to each others class and said our goodbyes.
Jungkook's POV
I was waiting for Mina to come out of her house.
"I'll make her mine by showing her that I changed!" I said to myself.
Just then, I saw Mina walking out of the house and locking it. She didn't notice me and she started walking to school.
I casually walked next to her and said, "Hey Mina!".
She replied, "Hey Jungkook".
But I noticed that something was bothering her.
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, just worried about the math test" she said.
"Don't worry! You'll get a 100% because you're smart!" I said cheerfully.
"Thanks! Feeling much better!" She smiled and I smiled at how pretty she looked when she smiled.
We got to know each other better while talking about random things. We have lots of things in common which made me happy. When we arrived, students were staring at us while wispering among themselves and I was worried that they will make her uncomfortable.
"Don't worry about them" I wispered and she nodded.
We said goodbyes and separated. The more I talk to her the more I'm falling for her. I felt butterflies when I'm talking to her. I was walking to my class happily when I got a text from Jimin hyung.
Jimin: were you talking to Mina right now?
Me: yeah. Why?
Jimin: wow I didn't know she could talk
Me: hyung don't be mean! We're friends now:)
Jimin: wow impressive maknae. Are you going to play with her like you always do with girls?
Me: NO! She's different.. I'll tell you during break time.
Jimin: okay maknae, see you
Me: okay hyung
I put my phone away and entered my classroom. I sat down at my seat and started daydreaming about Mina. Just the thought of her made me smile like crazy.
"Jungkook?" The teacher called me.
"Yes" I answered.
I didn't even know the teacher came in.
"Are you okay? You are smiling like an idiot" the teacher said and everyone laughed.
I nodded blushing like hell.
'I can't wait to see Mina again!' I thought.
Mina's POV
I sat down in my usual seat when Jimin came and said, "were you talking to Jungkook right now?"
And I just nodded. He looked at me weird but shrugged it off when the teacher came in. I don't know why I'm acting like this to every guy except Jungkook. This class was math and we are getting ready to take the exam. I'm confident that I'll get a 100% on this. The teacher passed out the exam and I looked through the paper first. This is so easy! I know how to do everything I'll definitely get a 100! I started solving every problem carefully and after, I went over it once just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. I checked multiple times just in case, I don't want to be punished this time. After checking my work over and over I turned my exam in and sat down in my seat. After everyone finished, class ended and everyone walked out of the classroom. Since I couldn't wait, I went up to the teacher.
"Um can I know what I got on my exam?" I asked and she nodded.
She took out the paper and went through the file to find mine. Since I finished it fast, she was able to grade mine. She handed the paper to me and I checked my grade.
