Maya and Katy left their house and went to the Mathews. Usually Katy wouldn't come, but she knew how much Maya wanted to be with her for Christmas.
So Katy decided to come.
Maya hit the buzzer and Riley answered. They walked up to the apartment and went in.
"Katy" Topanga said. She gave her a hug. "Glad you could spend christmas with us"
"Glad I could be here" Katy smiled. She joined Topanga in the kitchen and Maya went over to Riley in the couch. Who was talking to Josh...
She sat next to Riley.
"Hey, Maya" Josh smiled.
"Hey" Maya said.
Josh looked confused. But then just smiled and let it go. Maya just sat there while Josh and Riley talked.
Josh got up and Riley stated to talk to Maya.
"How you doing?" Riley asked, referring to the whole Josh thing.
"I think I'm good" Maya replied. "I don't think I'll ever like Huckleberry more than I do today so" Maya smiled.
"Why what happened?" Riley asked, Intrigued.
"Let's go talk in your room" Maya said.
"Okay" Riley smiled. They walked to her room and sat at the bay window.
"You see this?" Maya asked.
"Yeah, is that from Lucas?" Riley asked.
"yep" Maya smiled.
"Is it just a chain bracelet?" Riley asked, confused.
"No here's a charm" Maya laughed. "But I was the same as you"
"Oh that's pretty! Is that a paintbrush?" Riley said.
"Yeah" Maya smiled.
"So tell me why you like Lucas so much." Riley said.
"Geez, there are so many reasons" Maya replied.
"Well, yeah. But you said you don't think you'll ever like him more than you do today" Riley said. "Why? What'd he do?"
"Well, we went to get something to eat. Then he gave me this" Maya said as she held up her wrist.
"And?" Riley asked.
"I was confused of what it was." Maya laughed. "But then he said I'll give you a charm for every year we're together" Maya smiled. "And the he put this charm on and said, this one represents what's hopefully to come"
"Wow. He's got game" Riley said. "And that's so adorable"
"He's just so... Great" Maya smiled.
"He is great. And you two are great together" Riley smiled.
"I got you something" Maya said. She handed Riley a gift and Riley smiled.
"Yayyyy" Riley said. She opened it and smiled bigger. It was a picture of her and Maya. They took it recently. Maya put it in a brown wooden picture frame. "I love it. I got you something, too"
"Ooh what is it?" Maya replied. Riley handed it to her. I guess they had the same idea of a gift. Because it was a picture of her and Riley when they were younger. They were probably like six. It was in a silver picture frame that said Sisters. "I love it. Where'd you find it?"
"Me and my mom were looking through some old pictures when I saw this one" Riley replied. They hugged each other and took their presents out with them.
They placed them on the coffee table in the living room and just looked at them together for a minute. They were both really good pictures. Riley got up to get a drink and Maya still sat on the couch smiling at the pictures. Josh sat down next to Maya and smiled when he saw the pictures.
"Good pictures" he laughed.
"Yeah" Maya replied.
"Not that I'm complaining because I definitely am not" Josh said. "But why haven't you... You know. Why aren't you the way you usually are?"
"I don't know" Maya replied.
"Yeah okay" Josh said, not believing Maya.
"Fine" Maya said. "I have a boyfriend"
"Really?" Josh asked, shocked.
"Well, don't look so shocked" Maya said.
"No. Sorry" Josh laughed. "Just wasn't expecting that to come out of your mouth"
"Yeah well" Maya replied.
"who is he?" Josh asked her.
"Lucas" Maya replied.
"Howdy? Oh I remember him. Nice guy" Josh said.
"Yeah. He is" Maya said.
"I didn't know you liked him" Josh said.
"No one did" Maya replied with a smile.
"Well, congratulations" Josh smiled.
"Thanks" Maya smiled back.
Josh got up and Riley sat back down.
"What'd you guys talk about?" Riley asked her.
"He just asked me why I wasn't obsessing over him like usual and so I said I was dating Lucas." Maya replied. "And then he said congratulations and then got up"
"Alright" Riley smiled. Shawn walked in and gave the the 'shhh' sign. They nodded and he snuck up on Cory. Cory turned around and hugged him.
They talked for a while. Maya just looked around and smiled at everything. This was the best christmas she's had in a very long time.

With Lucas:

"So how are you and Maya doing?" Lucas' mom asked when they sat down for dinner.
"Great" Lucas replied.
"Did she like the present?" She asked.
"Yeah" Lucas replied with a smile. "I told her about everything" Lucas said a few minutes later.
"Really? What made you do that?" She asked, shocked.
"It was before we were dating. A few weeks back. She told me shout her past so I told her about ours" Lucas replied.
"Do you think it was a good idea?" She asked.
"Yeah. I think it was" Lucas smiled.
"As long as you think so" she smiled.

Back At The Matthews:

Katy and Shawn were talking. Maya loved that. She always hoped they would get together. She would love to have Shawn as a dad. But she knew she was only dreaming and it would never happen. But she can dream, can't she?
All day everyone talked and ate and just had a good time. This was Maya's favorite christmas.
Until the end of the day when she noticed something. Something she hoped she wouldn't. And was really sad to find out she did.
After everyone went to bed, Maya, Riley and Josh stayed up playing Monopoly. Josh was staying the night. So was Maya.
"That's mine" Josh said.
"How much?" Maya asked.
"12 dollars" Josh replied. Maya handed him the money.
"That's mine" Maya said when Riley landed on her spot. Riley gave her how much she asked for and Josh took his turn.
"That's mine" Riley said.
"No that's mine" Maya said.
"Oh. Okay" Riley replied. "What time is it?" She yawned. Josh checked his phone.
"2:31" he replied.
"I quit" Riley said.
"No you can't-" Maya yawned. "You can't quit"
"I cant stay up any longer." Riley replied.
"You're probably gonna lose soon anyway so you might as well stay up" Maya said.
"Harsh, man" Josh yawned.
"Nice" Riley glared. She took her turn and they kept going. Eventually Riley got out and she went to bed.
"What time is it now?" Maya asked.
"3:23" Josh replied.
"Ughhhhh" Maya groaned.
"Why did we even decide to play it? This game ALWAYS takes forever" Josh groaned.
"Yeah. It's especially bad considering we started it at like midnight" Maya said.
"Yeah. Why did we do that again?" Josh asked.
"I don't- I don't know..." Maya replied while she started to fall asleep.
"No wake up. We have to finish this" Josh said.
"Right" Maya yawned again.
"Your turn" Josh said. Maya took her turn. They kept taking turns until eventually Josh ended up winning. They ended up falling asleep on the couch.
