The Next Day:

Maya and Riley were sitting at the bay window. Like usual.
They were just talking about a lot of stuff.
"How are you and Lucas doing?" Riley asked.
"Great. He asked me to be his girlfriend last night" Maya smiled big.
"Oh so that's where you guys disappeared to" Riley replied.
"Yeah" Maya laughed. "I was scared. I thought he was gonna propose"
"Why?" Riley laughed.
"Well, he gave me this small speech of about how he's liked me for forever, how he still likes me, how he probably will always like me" Maya laughed. "And then he got down on one knee. But he pulled out a green ring pop, my favorite, and asked me to be his girlfriend."
"That's so cute" Riley smiled.
"And then he kissed me" Maya added.
"You guys kissed? How was it?" Riley asked, Getting excited.
"Well it was my first kiss, and it was... Magical and amazing" Maya daydreamed.
"That's so sweet" Riley smiled.
"And our slow dance and the whole night was just amazing" Maya smiled dreamily.
"It's great to see you happy" Riley smiled.
"This is the happiest I've been in a while." Maya smiled big. "How are you and Zay doing?"
"We're not dating or anything." Riley replied.
"I know. But do you like him?" Maya asked.
"Maybe. Last night was really nice. And he was really great. So I think I might like him" Riley replied.
"I think you do" Maya smiled.
"Do you think he likes me?" Riley asked, curiously.
"He wouldn't have asked you to the dance if he didn't" Maya replied.
"You're right" Riley smiled. "Do you think he'll ever ask me out?"
"I'm not the best to ask that." Maya smiled. "I'm in my first ever relationship"
"Right" Riley laughed. "Maybe I'll ask my mom"
"Good idea" Maya replied.
