Talking to Emma one of the Cheerleaders about the surprise test Mrs. Pitt gave us in Literature (not all members of the Cheerleading squad is a bimbo or meanie, Emma is actually pretty nice and fun to talk to) it was really bothering me for I mostly didn't know if I correctly answered some of the questions and so was Emma.
"Bummer! What if I got an F?" I told Emma crossing my arms. Making a tsk sound at the end.
"Then it could only be your one F, it's not that bad" fixing her pony tail. Her long hair that I superbly envy for being so shinny and volumous. My hair tend to be so dry sometimes that I have to shove it in a bun to hide it.
"Yeah, it will be my first ever F if that happens." Slapping my forehead.
"Don't worry so much Mads, having an F will not cause the end for the world" she's finding my problem amusing.
"But I was aiming for Valedictorian!" Pouting like a child.
"Jeez, just ask Mrs. Pitt for extra projects or something to fix the F and Mads we haven't even know if you actually have an F." She has her hand on my arm.
"You are right!"
"I know!" Flipping her pony tail.
"I could still have perhaps an A-."
"As what Elsa said Let it go." She sings with her not so much pleasant voice. "Come let's find Zoe." Dragging me to the hall, we saw Zoe by her locker talking to Chace.
What could they be talking about and why?
"Hey guys!" Emma said letting my hand go.
"Hi Emma, Maddie!" Said Zoe smiling and blushing? Chace just nodded to acknowledge of pressence. I looked at her with a What-is-going-on-here look. "Chace and I we're just talking about the party on Friday!" She explains.
"I'll go ahead, nice seeing you Em and Maddie!" Pecking Zoe on the cheeks before leaving, then Zoe was hysterically blushing looking like a tomato.
"What was that about?" Emma asked before I could squealing. "Is there something between you two?"
"Well, he kinda ask me to come with him to the party." she joins Emma squealing.
"Really? Oh my gosh! So happy for you!" I said excitedly joining in the squeals.
"Yes, he did!" Hugging me.
"If you are going with Chace to the party then that means I don't have to go?" hoping I could skip.
"Honey no, you are going!" She got her serious face on quickly.
"But you have a date. If I go I'll be third wheeling." I protest
"You can just come with me!" Said Emma pointing a finger at herself. I groan in the sudden volunteer.
"Good Idea Em!" High fiving Emma's hand.
"Great" I said sarcastically.
"Don't be a kill joy Mads, you might find a cute boy there" wiggling her eyebrows and I let out a deep sigh "And it'll be fun!"

I came home a bit early today for there was an Emergency teacher's meeting, dismissing the class an hour early.
I took Miho to the park, let her loose to run and play with other dogs as I sat under a tree this was Mom and I's favorite spot. Opening a book that I was currently reading it's Delirium by Lauren Oliver and gone to spotify with my earphones in to play my favorite reading moment playlist.
Just minutes after getting lost in Lena's world, someone rudely took my book out my grasped.
"I WAS READING IT!" I yelled to whom ever took it.
Kieran holding my book, scanning on the pages.
"Easy tiger! I just wanna see what it was about and what could be the reason for you to not notice me being here like 5 minutes ago" flipping through the pages.
"Maybe I was actually ignoring you." I lied I really didn't notice him, grabbing my book back.
"Maybe?" He was stretching his arms and resting his head on my thighs. I was caught off guard in his sudden move.
"What do you think you are doing?!"
"Sshh, let me sleep" his eyes now closed, I pushed him off.
"I'm not a bed for you to sleep in!" Brushing my jeans.
"So would you rather sleep with me on bed?" He has his smirk on trying to lay back down but before he could I stood up.
"Dream on Jerk!"
"You didn't just call me that" he is now smirking playfully, then it hit me remembering what he said in the library.
"If you call me Jerk again I'll kiss you"
I purse my lips together in the thought of him kissing me.
"I am not letting you kiss me again!" Puting a hand on top of my mouth and run. I run as fast as i could away from him.
I was half way home when I realized that I left Miho at the park.
"SHIT!" yanking my hair, I made my way back to the park looking around for any sign of Kieran.
He will not kiss me again. I won't let him.
I walk back to where I left Miho with the other dogs and find her with another stranger, she's being sociable this pass few days. I walked towards her then my eyes widen as I saw who she's with.
Not again.
"I thought you were just going to left the poor dog here" he said playing with Miho not even looking at me, he seems enjoying it for he was smiling not smirking.
"I-I just, it slip my mind, Okay?!" Putting the leesh back to her collar.
"What's her name?" He was now scratching her tummy and she seems to love it, he looks cute playing with dogs.
"Miho"
"Miho? Japanese?" He looked confused.
"I took the name from Gumiho a korean drama that I used to watch" chuckling as the confusion from his face fades.
"Oh"
"You like dogs?" I asked sitting next to him.
"Yeah, but my dad was allergic so I can't get one."
"I see. My dad got her after a month my Mom died, Pa said that it could help with the pain"
"Well did it?" Looking at me but I kept my gaze on Miho.
"A little." I forced a smile.
"Accident?" I felt something heavy when when he spoke those words.
"No, cancer"
"I'm sorry about your mom" he gave a warm sorry smile.
"You don't have to say sorry, you're not cancer" I said jokingly and he smally laugh.
"Was it suppose to be funny?"
"I truthfully don't know." I smiled on the thought, he did the same. "Though it is better to laugh than cry and you had seen me cry twice already, I don't wanna add more numbers to that" I told him.
"Yeah, cause you look horrible when you cry" he was laughing mocking my crying face.
"Hey!" I slap his arms.
I have never thought that I will be having this kind of conversation with Kieran, it felt good talking to him. He doesn't seem like the Kieran who always makes fun of me in school. This was his friendly side.
We we're talking and laughing that we didn't even realize that it was strating to get dark, then my phone rings.
"Hello!" Putting the phone on my ear.
"Yes Pa!... Okay Pa.... Yes" Then I hung up. Shoving the phone back to my pocket."We should go. My dads on his way home and I still need to make dinner." I said standing up, brushing some dirt off my pants.
"Okay, Bye Miho!" He scratch her head once more.
"It was nice talking to you." I told him.
"You too!" He nodded but he was letting a smirk back on his lips. "But don't think that I forgot that you still awe me a kiss." He added, before I could retort in his words he started walking the opposite way, leaving.
Why ruin it? It was doing perfectly.
