Levi's poor heart was violently thumping against his ribcage and he suddenly felt very queasy. His hands were clammy and shaking when he tried to steady them on the steering wheel and he felt like nothing was real; everything was just a mere façade and he wasn't right in the head. Maybe he heard Eren's question wrong, but he couldn't be too sure.
"That's a ridiculous question," he breathed and shook his head.
"I'm serious. What would happen if I did say it?" Eren asked as his brows furrowed with curiosity.
"Hmm... I'm not certain you would want to know," Levi replied quietly. "And why are you so curious about it?"
"I'm sure I would want to know," he replied.
Any passerby in the parking would think they look like so bickering couple. They were in the parking for what seemed like ten minutes now, the groceries in the trunk long forgotten.
"You're being way too nosy for comfort," Levi told him with a light scowl.
"You literally just spilled all your emotions about fifteen minutes ago and now you're unwilling to tell me this one thing? Nothing like secret hidden intentions of love to keep you awake at night," he muttered and crossed his arms.
"Enough, Eren, we should head home," Levi suggested as he revved up the engine of the car. Eren began to sulk, feeling that it was unfair that the man beside him was still keeping so many secrets from him. He couldn't quite believe that this day he shared with him even happened in the first place; he was the last person he would have expected to get a confession from, but he was also thrilled.
It seemed very surreal because Eren thought of himself as a very unappealing kind of person, but here he was, sitting in the same car as someone who actually found him pleasant. All throughout high school, no one bothered to make a move on Eren because he was known to be a lunatic when it came to music. Because why bother going for someone who fell in love with music? Music was a very complex part of his life so he didn't have time to actually look at any girls to see if they piqued his interest. He was too busy reading notes and scores.
The radio was off on their way home and they exchanged no words at all. The atmosphere definitely felt different and it was probably because of Levi's mood. It wasn't an awkward car ride, but it was definitely not pleasant either. Levi's hands were gripped tightly onto the steering wheel, his visible, blue veins pulsing on his pale hands. His eyes were locked on the road, refusing to stare at anything else.
The engine quieted down once they were in front of their apartment building and the older man hurried out of the car as soon as he retrieved his keys. Eren followed after him, taking the remaining bags of groceries and walked silently behind him. The silence grew even longer once they entered his apartment room and gently set down the bags on the small table.
"You should go," Levi suggested without turning around.
"Huh? I wasn't done asking questions though," Eren said quickly.
"You can ask tomorrow or the day after and maybe even later on than that," he replied with a shake of his
head.
"Why not now? The day is still young and the sunset hasn't even painted the sky yet. We still have a lot of time," Eren proteted stubbornly and crossed his arms.
"I'm telling you this for your own sake, Eren."
The younger male looked disappointed but didn't even move by a single inch. He was firmly holding his ground and it was going to make Levi lose his sanity sooner or later.
"I'm going to count to ten and if you don't leave by then, you're going to regret it," Levi exhaled with a shaking breath.
"I'm not a child anymore for fuck's sake-"
"One," he interrupted with no warning and began to tap his foot impatiently.
"Mr. Ackerman, come on. Don't be like tha-"
"Two," he cut him off again.
Eren rolled his eyes so hard that he felt like they were going to roll inside his skull. He found it rather unfair that he was being treated like this; like someone who was naïve, someone who needed more discipline. He wasn't that much younger than him so he couldn't understand why he always acted so careful around him.
He was pulled back to reality when he noticed that he was at seven now, nearly done the countdown.
"Eight, nine-"
"This is really unecessary," he complained.
"Ten."
Everything around him moved in a hazy blur. He felt his spine hit the wall hard and winced from the sudden pain. His breath caught in his scratchy, dry throat when he tried to notice what was even happening. Everything moved too quickly and he had no idea what was going on. He was being pushed harshly and firmly against a wall and his eyes tried to focus on what was in front him as he coughed when the air from his lungs got knocked out.
Oh, he thought to himself, it's happening again.
Soft, moist lips were pushing against his and he instantly felt breathless and faint. They were intoxicating- almost poisonous, and it didn't help in the least to realize that they belonged to Levi Ackerman. Heat rised to his cheeks as he couldn't help but kiss back. His mouth really did feel very good on his, and he shivered when he felt teeth tug at the corner of his lip.
It was almost a dream because it was way too good to be true. Eren felt like he was drunk; he felt giddy and warm inside, but he was drunk from these exhilarating kisses. It was like being kissed by a god, a mystical being, anything and everything good. He was melting against his body and his legs were shaking hard.
He moaned quietly into Levi's mouth when their lips parted and their teeth crashed and collided. Eren repeatedly murmured his name until it was the only thing that mattered at that moment. He felt a pang of disappointment when he pulled away and frowned at him.
Levi's lips were desperately straning to be near his, but they were far enough so that they wouldn't brush against each other. They were both panting like their lives depended on it, and Eren could tell the other was definitely aroused and he looked sexy as hell when he was. His lips looked a litle more plump and his eyes were glistening with a shine of menace and mischief.
"You can run, you know. You don't have to pretend you're enjoying this," he whispered into the skin of his neck, brushing his nose upward and dragging it along his jawline.
"I'm- ngh! not pretending," he murmured back and flinched when teeth nipped at his sensitive skin and arched his neck a little. "I would have ran long ago if I didn't like this."
Levi's face looked genuinely surprised and Eren knew he was not expecting such a response.
"Alright, good. You'll soon discover what would happen to you if you stay with me any longer. You'll see," he chuckled in a low voice.
He leaned in closer and pressed his body against his and surrounded him with his arms like a cage. Eren couldn't calm down and his heart wouldn't stop trying to jump out of his chest no matter what he did. The man's lips were hovering over his own, and his tongue was grazing the outline of his lips in a very tantalizing and seductive manner. His hands were playing with the hem of his loose tee shirt, and Eren couldn't breath properly anymore.
Eren felt a cold finger brush against the canvas of his flat stomach and shivered instantly with pleasure. He was desperately trying to match his lips with the other once more and frowned again when Levi refused. He was teasing, he was merely trying to savor the moment of them being alone and getting like this.
"Levi," Eren whined.
"What?"
"Stop that," he grumbled back.
"Stop what? Stop this?" he asked and removed his hands from the boy in an instant.
"No. Get a hint, you bastard," he snapped.
"I won't know unless you tell me," he told him in a low tone of voice as a smirk appeared on his face.
Eren paused and felt embarrassed. He didn't want to ask because it would make him sound desperate (not like he already was, but still) . His breathing came out in short, ragged gasps as he looked down at Levi with desire filled eyes.
"Kiss me," he demanded.
"Sorry could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you," he mocked.
"You heard me and I know you did," he muttered. "Just do it."
"As you wish," he replied and bowed forward.
Their lips collided once again against each other and Eren got lost in his thoughts once more. Their mouths were pushing one another, hungry and thirsty for the sweet taste of each other. The short man tasted of coffee, which was very surprising because Eren knew for a fact that he was a tea kind of person. Eren's heart was beating too hard, he had the entire world's population beating inside his chest and it was too much. He was going to faint sooner or later.
Damn, Eren thought, this guy really can kiss.
Shivers were sent rapidly down Eren's spine when those fingers brushed lightly against his torso again. Color was exploding from his chest like he was a canon of paint; all of these emotions and thoughts were suddenly rocketing all over the room until it created a vibrant, gaudy symphony of color. It was weird to know that this was the same guy he disliked for many years ever since he played Winter Winds on stage, and now they were madly making out like there was no tomorrow, like their lives depended drastically on the mere fantasy of kissing.
It was like the sunset, the high score you reach in that stupid arcade game or maybe finally buying that book you've always wanted. Like kissing, it was a highlight of someone's day and this was certainly going to replay in Eren's head over and over and over again like a broken record. Eren was a broken record, he was sputtering small whispers over and over and over again until it was the only thing that could be heard in the room.
Levi on the other hand, couldn't help but think that his quiet mewls and moans were like porn to his ears. He knew the boy had a beautiful voice when he sung, and it was on a whole different level when it came to moments like these. He slowly slipped his tongue and felt the soft ridges and edges of his mouth. Eren was furiously tugging and yanking at Levi's silky, charcoal hair which urged him to continue.
He soon arched his neck to place small, lingering kisses all over the boy's collarbones and neck just to tease him even more.
"What does this mean?" Eren asked quietly.
"What do you mean?"

"Tell me what feelings your actions are trying to convey," he murmured.
Levi grinned as his lips made his way to the boy's ear, giving it a soft bite and began to whisper.
"I like you."
Eren shivered when the man proceeded to suck and bite at his skin and jolted when he felt a pair of hands massage his thighs, creeping up near his ass and making him tingle inside. He was kneading it now, making Eren's legs wobble and causing him to bite hard on his lip until it bled.
"I still want to know more about you. Your likes, dislikes-"
He was interrupted when he felt the same hands creep up his shirt and skim the surface of his chest, caressing the small hills and curves and everything else. He was in the process of removing the article of clothing when he started to talk again.
"One thing you should know about me is that I am incredibly and stupidly in love with you. One thing I dislike very much is to think about a future where I could never be with you."

i feel like this fanfic is rushed and i'm probably going to regret publishing it but it's already chp 18 sO
this fic will go on for maybe another 5-10 chapters and then i'll start my vampire au soon. i'm also thinking of publishing one of my original stories which is called 'the ballad for the departed and the damned' so i'll tell y'all when it comes out! :3
