It's been 2 days since I've spoken to Jayden , since I've been in that fight and since I've been suspended. I'm really worried about Jayden but I'm not gonna go to her house. I'm pretty sure she's alive because every time I try to call , she sends me straight into voicemail. Like really? I was there for you at your lowest point , and your just gonna ignore me like that? Okay.
I was laying around in some compression shorts , fuzzy slippers , two different pattern knee high socks and a tank top. I had my music playing and I was making dinner. Rosa was at school so I was here alone. My doorbell rang. I put the spoon down and went to the door. I opened it and saw Sam. I crossed my arms and leaned on the doorframe.
Me: What?
Sam: Nothing. Here.
She held out a big yellow envelope towards me. I looked at it and snatched it from her. I ripped it open and saw 100's of 100 dollar bills.
Me: I don't want your money.
Sam: But trust me , you need it.
I laughed and dropped the money.
Me: Bitch , I don't need shit from you okay? Me and Rosa are doing just fine without you or anybody else.
She looked at the money that was on the ground in shock. I slammed the door in her face. I locked it and went back to the kitchen. I stirred the rice and flipped the chicken. My phone vibrated so I went over to it. It said I had a text from Jayden. In my phone , I had Jayden underneath Jay ✊🏾🤔💕.
I opened the text and read it.
Jay✊🏾🤔💕: Hey Princess
Jaydaa🙊🙄 : What do you want .
Jay✊🏾🤔💕 : Ouch . I just wanted to see how you are . I saw the video in the news.
Jaydaa🙊🙄 : Good to know && I'm doing fine .
Jay✊🏾🤔💕 : You miss daddy ?
Jaydaa🙊🙄 : Daddy ? BARELY ! 😂😂
Jay✊🏾🤔💕: Whateverrs , I know you miss daddy . Don't worry , daddy misses you too .
Jaydaa🙊🙄 : Well when is daddy gonna come see her princess ?
Jay✊🏾🤔💕 : When does the princess wanna see her daddy ?
Jaydaa🙊🙄 : Now .
I cut everything off and made the plates. I placed Rosa's plate in the microwave and began to eat mine. My phone vibrated again , this time telling me someone was calling. I answered the phone after seeing it was Jayden. I answered it.
Me: Yes?
Jayden: Oh , I see you answering daddy with yes.
I laughed.
Me: Cocky ass.
Jayden: Just for you princess.
Me: Mhm. What are you doing?
Jayden: With Skylar , my dad and Kayla.
Me: Oh. Where have you been?
Jayden: Huh?
Me: Word gets around fast and word is that the T3 hasn't been to school in 2 days.
Jayden: Oh. We've been in Atlanta.
Me: Oh.
Jayden: Yep. The way you worded it made it seem like you haven't been at school.
Me: I haven't. I'm suspended for 3 days. I go back the day after tomorrow.
Jayden: Oh.
Me: Yep. Well , how was your trip with your dad?
Jayden: It was awesome. We did so much in so little time.
She sounded so happy that I couldn't help but smile.
Me: Well I'm glad you had fun.
Jayden: Yeah.
Me: Is that why you didn't speak to me for 2 days?
She sighed.
Jayden: Yes. It was either Kayla and Skylar was still awake or I fell asleep.
Me: Okay.
Jayden: Are you mad at me?
I kind of wanted to say yes , but it was for a good reason.
Me: No. Not at all.
Jayden: Okay good.
I softly laughed.
Jayden: Damn. I wanna hold you so damn bad.
I smiled at the thought of her holding me. I liked- no. I really liked the feeling of her holding me. I felt somewhat safe in her arms. Like nothing could hurt me. Like all my worries were gone. Like all the pain was gone.
Me: I want you to hold me too. I really like the feeling I get when you do.
Jayden: Guess what!
I jumped by her loudness and laughed after that.
Me: What?
Jayden: My dad let me drive!
Me: Ah hell. Please tell me everyone is alright and you didn't crash.
Jayden: I can only say one of those things!
I could tell she was smiling really hard. I began to laugh.
Me: Lemme guess. You crashed the car but everybody is okay.
Jayden: Bingo!
Me: Oh my hell.
Jayden: Yeah. So now we're in a rental in our way back.
I couldn't help but laugh again.
Me: Somebody needs to teach you how to drive.
Jayden: You can.
Me: Me?
Jayden: Yeah. Your a good driver.
Me: I'm not a good driver. Have you seen me drive?
Jayden: Yes and your pretty good.
I sighed.
Me: Okay sure.
Jayden: That's not all.
Me: Then what else?
Jayden: Could you teach Kayla and Skylar too?
Me: Skylar , of course. Kayla , hell no. I don't like her , she's hella disrespectful.
Jayden: So am I and Skylar.
Me: No there's something different about the two of you. You both aren't that bad , I just don't like Kayla and that's final.
She sighed.
Jayden: Okay fine. Just me and Skylar. When are you free?
Me: Weekends.
Jayden: Okay. How's weekends from 2-4?
Me: Sounds good and you can only miss two classes before you aren't allowed back.
Jayden: Hm. Demanding. I likey.
I laughed.
Me: Oh hush. I gotta go.
Jayden: Where?
Me: Clean? Do homework? Shopping?
Jayden: Hm. Okay. You can do that while on the phone with me.
Me: Your so lucky.
I went and grabbed my converse , slipping them on. When my phone vibrated , telling me I had a another call. It was Rosa's school.
Me: Hold on , Rosa's school is calling.
I switched over.
Me: Jayda speaking.
Lady: Good evening Jayda. I have called to inform you that Rosalia is acting strange.
Me: What is your meaning of strange.
Lady: Un normal.
Me: I know what it means fool. I meant what makes you say that.
Lady: Oh. Well she's been crying and asking for us to call her sister.
Me: Alright , tell her I'm on my way.
Lady: Alright.
I hung up and saw Jayden hung up too. I received a text.
Jay✊🏾🤔💕 : Text me when you want , I'll be around , Princess.
I smiled and left it as seen. I grabbed my keys and purse and walked out the house after making sure everything was cut off. I locked the door behind me and got in the car. I cut on the engine and played Aaliyah - One In A Million. I put it in drive and drove off.
