A://N Ok so this is a backstory chapter.
It'll tell you about how Ryker and Rain's lives were before, so I recommend reading it, because you'll have to know it for the future.
IMPORTANT: In the first chapter I said Rain was 8 when she saw her mom last, but I'm going to make her 13 when she saw her last.

Rain's POV from 5 years ago.
BANG!
I ran out of my room and downstairs.
I saw my mom and dad screaming at each other.
"Rain"! Jax yelled who is my oldest brother who's 20.
He grabbed me and pulled me out of the kitchen.
"Rain, stay out of it" He said.
"No! Jax let me go!" I yelled.
Ryan who is 18 ran in and Joel who is 15 ran in.
"They're going at it hard" Ryan said.
Joel walked over to me and hugged me.
I heard something shatter.
My eyes filled with tears and I got out of my brothers grip and ran into the kitchen.
My dad threw things and broke things as my parents yelled and cursed at one another.
My breath hitched and my eye filled with tears, and my heart sunk.
"Stop"! I yelled.
They didn't listen.
Jax, Ryan, and Joel kept trying to break them apart.
My dad yelled at my mom "You f*cking ugly b*tch! Give me the money!"
He's drunk.
"I don't have it!" She yelled.
He smacked her across the face and she stumbled back and fell.
I tried to run up to her but Ryan grabbed me.
I kicked and screamed to let me go.
I saw my dad shatter a glass bottle over my mom's head as Joel and Jax tried getting him to stop.
My dad fumbled for something.
He pulled out a his hand gun.
My eyes widened as tears streamed down my face.
Ryan let go of me and ran up to help my brothers get the gun from him.
I ran up to my mom.
She had cuts and was bleeding from her head.
She looked at me with a broken expression.
She caressed my cheek "I'm alright Rain".
I shook my head and squeezed my eyes shut and a tear fell down my cheek and she wiped it.
Then my dad got the gun and pulled the trigger, and my mom pushed me out of the way.
"MOM!" I screamed.
Her eyes then fell shut.
No! No! No! This can't be happening! It's just a dream! It's just a dream!
I fell to my knees and cried and my vision went blurry as my mom was passed out and Joel was on the phone with 911 and Jax and Ryan wrestled my dad for the gun.

Ryker's POV from 5 years ago.
"F*ck you"! I yelled at my current foster father as he slapped me across the face.
"Listen here, Ryker!" He gritted and grabbed my shirt "You're a 15, asswhole! No wonder your parents got rid of you".
I clenched my jaw and glared at him "They didn't get rid of me, you drunk!"
"O really"? He gritted and pushed me back into the wall and I fell into some broken glass "Why else would they just abandoned you"!?
"They didn't have the money"! I yelled.
That's a lie.
He punched me again.
I've been in prison 8 times, and have been in 32 foster cares.
"You better watch it, or Melanie gets it"! He threatened.
I got up and grabbed his shirt and gritted "You touch her, you f*cking die"!
Melanie is my little sister who's only 1.
He smirked and I punched him repeatedly in the gut, so much that he coughed up blood.
I heard sirens.
Great!
Cops barged in and two handcuffed me right away.
They pushed me out and pushed me down to the hood of the cop car.
"You have the right to remain silent" The cop instructed stern.
I rolled my eyes.
I've done this before......
They pushed me into the cop car and drove off.
We came to the jail.
They pushed me in and kept my hands handcuffed behind my back.
I clutched my fist as I walked threw.
"Ryker Anderson" A familiar voice said.
I smirked "Sheriff Thompson, nice to see you again".
His smirk fell and said "Your cell is waiting".
Then they shoved me into my normal cell and unhandcuffed me.
I rubbed my wrist "You know you should get more f*cking comfortable handcuffs" I yelled.
"Well keep that in mind" Sheriff Thompson said.
Sheriff Thompson is a complete Asswhole.
I'd hate to be his kids.....
I rolled my eyes at the thought.
"I get a phone call" I said in a bored tone.
"Ryker, you've been here so many times; that phone call doesn't come to you anymore".
"Its my right" I declared.
"You're 15, you have no rights" He snapped.
"Let me have a f*cking phone call!" I yelled and shook the bars of the jail cell.
