A selfie of Ryan and Lily from the night before, which Ryan had posted on twitter, was enough to excite the world.
Notifications were coming in hard and fast "Wow fans are pretty alert today" Ryan chuckled as his phone beeped for the hundredth time.
"Yeah perhaps it has something to do with the caption you chose for that picture" Lily chuckled as she got to work on editing some of the photographs from the previous night.
"Yeah okay" Ryan admitted it wasn't one of his brightest ideas to use the caption 'Date Night with my Queen'
"Hello" a voice called out as the door bell rang and Lily smiled at the familiar voice. Natalie appeared at the top of the stairs "Hey you two I thought I might find you both here"
"Hey" Lily stoop up from behind her laptop and went to hug Natalie "Everything okay?"
"Yeah fine I just thought I would check in" Natalie looked at Ryan Ho was half smiling at her.
"Can I get you a drink Nat?" Lily asked as she headed towards the kitchenette area.
"Did you get them all?" Ryan whispered so Lily couldn't hear.
"Yeah I'll sort it all out for you, for tonight" Natalie replied quietly "Did you get what you needed?"
"Yeah its all sorted"
"Oh my god, she really has no idea does she?" Natalie giggled excitedly. Ryan shook his head and turned back to the kitchenette where Lily was busy making coffee, she was completely oblivious to his plans.

"I wish I was there to see her face" Violet smiled as she handed Tom some paperwork. They had been sorting out Toms office.
"It will be a picture, but this is there moment Vi. Ryan needs to do it how he sees fit" Tom exhaled.
"Yeah I know that, but I was just saying it'd be nice that's all "She has been through so much in the last few months and now everything with that horrible stalker man is sorted, well now she can finally be happy"
Tom wrapped his arms around Violets shoulders and kissed her gently.

"Oh my god is that her?" female voice whispered from behind Lily. She was stood in the queue at Starbucks waiting for hers and Ryan's coffees.
"I don't know ask her" another one said, Lily had started to feel a little uncomfortable, she pulled her jacket around her torso a little bit more. Lily jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey baby are you okay?" Ryan looked concerned, Lily could hear the whispering get louder.
"I told you it was her" A girl gasped "Wow she is beautiful" Lily was surprised by this coment.
"Lil, baby" Ryan's voice reached her again.
"Sorry yeah I'm fine" Lily replied as she looked behind her at the young girls, she smiled at them efore turning back to face Ryan "I think you have some fans behind you" she chuckled and Ryan turned around.
"Oh my god" One of them let out a little louder than she meant to.
"Ryan hi" a girl interrupted confidently "My name is Simone, this is Justine and Marsha"
"It's nice to meet you" Ryan seems surprisingly comfortable around these women. He figured it's probably because Lily was standing beside him "Are you guys fans?"
"Oh god yeah" Simone exaggerated slightly, much to Lily's amusement "we have followed OneRepublic since forever"
"You're our favourite band" the girl Simone had introduced as Marsha added.
"Thank you" Ryan smiled "it's nice of you to say so"
"So is it official then?" Justine frowned "Is she your girlfriend?"
"Erm yeah she is, this is Lily" Ryan seemed proud to introduce Lily to his fans.
"Is it true that you protected Ryan from a bullet?" Lily's eyes widened at Simone's question.
"Erm..." She felt Ryan's hand in the small of her back.
"Yeah its true she saved my life" Ryan stepped in "But we don't like to talk about it"
"Of course not, I'm so sorry I just got so caught up in meeting you" Simone felt dreadful for putting Lily on the spot like that.
"It's fine" Lily smiled "so are you guys here for the show tonight?"
"Yeah our parents paid for our tickets" Marsha smiled.

"I can't believe it's finally happening" Anna exclaimed as she plopped down on the sofa next to Drew "I hope she says yes"
"We both know she's going to say yes" Drew smiled "Do you think she'll be mad everyone else knows?"
"Absolutely" Anna giggled "But as soon as she sees that ring all will be forgotten"
"Yep you've gotta admit Ryan did good with that ring" Drew smiled.
Anna giggled as she hugged Drew.

"Do you think this is okay for tonight?" Lily came out of the bedroom wearing a white t-shirt and black leather leggings.
"Yeah you look amazing" Ryan walked closer to Lily and kissed her neck.
"Now are you sure, last time you said I looked fine and it was an official event" Lily frowned and giggled as Ryan's stubble tickled the skin under her ear.
"Honestly baby this is a very laid back event this time" Ryan added before turning round and putting the last few bits in his suitcase.
"I still don't get why we have to stay in a hotel tonight" Lily looked puzzled "We only live 30 minutes away"
"Yeah but like I said, we have a radio interview first thing and it seems silly coming all the way home and then having to go back again" Ryan lied rather convincingly, well enough for Lily nor to question him anyway.
"Okay, you're right" Lily packed her ankle boots in her small overnight case on wheels along with at few more things "What time is check in?"
"5.30" Ryan smiled "Then straight down to soundcheck"
"So we've got an hour until the taxi comes to pick us up?" Lily was wearing a cheeky smile. Ryan grinned when he realised why Lily was smiling, he raised his eyebrows as he watched her peel herself out of the figure hugging leggings, revealing her black lace thong. Ryan shook his head and moved closer to Lily, pulling her into his arms and spinning her round, before finally laying her down on the bed...

"They should be here by now" Anna moaned as she checked her watch for the seventh time. Ryan and Lily were running late for soundcheck "If he doesn't hurry up his plan won't work"
"Maybe they got distracted?" Natalie suggested and a Eddie nodded.
"What could possibly distract...oh" Anna guessed what Natalie was suggesting "Well their timing is incredibly inconsiderate" She groaned and Drew chuckled.
"Hey guys" Ryan came rushing in through the door looking a little hit and bothered. Lily followed closely behind him, she was wearing the outfit she had picked out earlier, along with her ankle boots "Sorry we're late the taxi..."
Lily blushed as she noticed everyone was smirking "It was late" she explained and Natalie and Anna laughed.
"So how far have we got?" Ryan put his rucksack down and headed over to Brent and Zach.
"About ready to start sound check" Brian nodded at Ryan.

"So all the paperwork has been finalised Mr Timms, you will be transfered to a secure, high risk, psychiatric hospital first thing in the morning" the lawyer shook Blake's hand as they stood up from the small heavily worn table, which was stood in the middle of a prison cell.
"Thanks Rick I appreciate it" Blake smiled broadly at the thought of leaving prison the next morning.

Lily and Ryan headed back to their room after soundcheck, just to freshen up before the show. Little did Lily know Ryan had been planning this for almost a week "Why are you smiling at me like that?" Lily wondered and Ryan laughed a little as he opened the hotel door with his key card.
"I want to show you something?" Ryan closed the door and handed Lily his ipad "We all felt bad because we didn't do anything for your 30th birthday, what with Blake and the baby and we just wanted to let you know how much you mean to us"
"What do you mean us?" Lily frowned as she watched Ryan open a Video marked 'Happy Birthday Lily'
Lily watched the video as Ryan got a few bits together, tears filled her eyes as each of them spoke beautiful words about her. Each taking it in turn telling her how much she means to them, Anna and Natalie went first, then Lily's Mom and dad, then Ryan's parents and finally Ryan...
"Lily-Rose Grainger, there are no words that can possibly explain the way I feel about you. You are my life, my heart and my soul..." Lily frowned as she watched Ryan take a small white piece of paper off the sign and hold it up to the camera on it was 'Marry me'
Lily let out a gasp as she read the sign, she jumped a little when she felt Ryan's hand tap the small of her back, as she turned she gasped again. He was kneeling on one knee in front of her holding a small blue box "Oh my god" tears filled Lily's eyes and her hands started to shake as Ryan started to speak.
"Lily I love you more than life itself and these last few months have proved I cannot be without you. I need you to be a part of me always...so Lily-Rose Grainger, would you do the honour of sharing a lifetime with me, by becoming my wife? Will you marry me?...
