Mirajane POV
" Big Sis, look at all the crowd here in Fiore! " Lisanna screams while pointing out her finger.
That's right, we spent 1 full day traveling to Fiore and we have finally reached our destination. My whole body feels sore and tired. I seriously wonder where Lisanna collected all her energy from.
We went to see a bulletin board that list down Fiore's most notorious bar location and see whether it is located in a guild, resort, and etc.
" Lets see here, hmm.... the top 3 listed here are : "Flolaria guild bar" , " Green Prick Resort bar", and " "Toma & Hisui hotel bar". "
We scan them each as we consider also the wages, work hours, and geographic location.
"I'll take this one! " I said as I pick up a flyer and its work registration form.
Lisanna looks content with my decision and she quotes, " Aww how sweet! The hotel is named after the King of Fiore and His Daughter. Let's hurry and get there before noon, sis!"
The hotel is in Crocus, the capital of the Kingdom of Fiore. We wastes approximately 30 minutes looking for direction before we finally stand before the designated renowned 5 star hotel.
Laxus POV
I woke up this morning, still bare-chested and feeling cramp all over my body with the exclusion of my arms, I just can't feel them at all. I stood up and observe my bed as I cross my Arms.
The bed cover is now ripped to layers and leaving many small fragments of the flashy yellow-colored dragon scales on it. What's worse, I also accidentally scratched my chest due to my crossed arms position.
So guessed what I did, I gather all the dragon scales and wrap them all with the torn cover sheets. Then I zap the bundle and turn it to smithereens.Huh, I grinned as I marvel through my own ingenious idea.
I look at the time and it's already past 12 a.m. "I must've overslept but that's nothing new isn't it?" I sigh as I put on my brown leather hoodie and let it engulf my beautiful yellow spiky hair.
As I locked the door, I unintentionally eavesdrop a conversation between 2 employes.
" Did you hear the news , our boss has just hired a model - looking barmaid and a 17 years old girl as the waitress serving at the bar."
Pretty ladies always picked my interest. So I guess I might as well get some drinks and lunch at this hotel bar and check the hotties.
After reaching the first floor of the bar, I begin to smell a familiar scent. Dragon slayers has sensitive senses, plus I know this scent better than anyone else.
" Mirajane's here " I conclude.
A part of me wants to embrace her and yet another part of me don't want to involve her with my current circumstance.
" I've hurt and made her cry enough rivers already " I think to myself as I recall what I did to her during the Phantom Lord attack, and of course, the battle of Fairy Tail.
There she is, shining bright like a diamond over the counter with her usual angelic smile. The bar is located perfectly vertical from the entrance gate and there isn't a single back exit on the first floor. Thus the only entrance is also the only exit.
"Tch, change of plan, Imma find some other place to have lunch and drink."
I pace outside the hotel to avoid a face-to-face confrontation with Mirajane. But little did I know that I am about to be making the biggest confrontation of my life ever...
By now my back is vulnerable to her as I am making my way to the exit for dear life. It's bizarre how such a small distance can feel like such an endless long journey.
" Laxus, Is that you!? " Mirajane sounds somewhat excited as she slams the counter with both hands.
Damn! It turns out that woman is able to identify me just from observing my broad and muscular back figure. I realize that I have underestimated this lady and it caused me my downfall.
In an instant , my feet go numb and I can only freeze while exposing my back to her. Certainly I can't reply because of my distinctive deep-manly voice, plus Mirajane recognize my voice better than anyone else.
Before I could think of an escape plan, Lisanna has already stood right in front of me. Then, she begins to paraphrase "Sir, are you really a Fairy Tail member named "Laxus? " Wow... you both sure look so much alike."
Without a doubt, I am not about to spill the bean anytime soon. So I stay quite and face the other way.
Mirajane POV
I jump over the counter to close the distance between me and the mystery man while Lisanna plays the role of a gatekeeper.
" Why won't you answer me, Laxus !" I demand an answer, but to no avail. The big postured man only stands there silent.
Without thinking, I swoop in and put my hands around his waist and lean my head on his back. " It's really you isn't it, Laxus? I am so happy to see you here. I need to tell you......" But I was suddenly cut off and I can feel his body shaking.
" Mira, I am sorry. Please forgive me for doing this! " The mystery man flashes out of my grasp and barges through the door, knocking down Lisanna in the process.
"Big Sis! That was definitely Laxus' lightning magic!" Lisanna exclaims as she recovers.
I evolve to my Satan soul Sitri and immediately give chase to Laxus. As expected, it is an almost impossible catch. He moves so swiftly and mobile in his lightning body mode, but I am not concerned because we are at equal term when it comes to speed.
" Everyone get out of the way! " my voice sounds screechy and voluminous, succeeding to clear the large shopping crowd.
I just have to find out no matter what why he was so reluctant to see me. He is definitely hiding something. Does he not trust me as a friend? No... not as friends, I want us to be more than that!
We both fly to higher ground in midair. Laxus movement abruptly stops as he turns around 180 degree and catches me off guard.
" Mira, forgive me. " Laxus raises his arms to the sky, exposing his arms and starts chanting magic spell. Then The sky starts turning dark and opens up.
In that split second, I notice a slight anomaly around his arms. Unfortunately, I get struck down by a lightning storm before getting a closer look and start gliding down the surface.
I look up and I see Laxus face getting teary. I too shed tears as I lie down helpless on the surface.
My Satan soul mode reverts back and I can feel the crowd forming a huge circle around me. I feel so helpless and hurt not just physically, but also deep inside my feeling. I never thought the day would come when Laxus would actually strike me down.
I cry a river. That is until Lisanna detects where I am and carries me back to the hotel. She ask with a worried expression afterward, " What happened to you, big sis? "
As much as it hurts to say it, I lie to her saying that I lost control of my own magic and self-destructed in the process.
Lisanna took a deep breath before speaking up, " I am glad that it wasn't Laxus' doing, Coz if it is, I will never be able to forgive him for hurting my beloved big sister! "
I am glad that I was able to protect and cover up for Laxus. Then I start to feel dizzy and nauseous, Dropping yet another tear before everything black out and lose my consciousness.
