Class 3-A

April 15th

。⋆。˚ ʚïɞ ˚。⋆。

Yoshiko sat by the window, storing energy for the day as she drank coffee and scrolled through the news app on her phone. Her best friend, Shinsou, sat across from her, also sipping on coffee, lazily looking out the window. He glanced at the girl sitting across from him with her legs brought to her chest, coffee cup in hand, phone in other and deep creases on her forehead.

"You're trying to get forehead lines or what?" Shinsou asked, gaining her attention. She looked up from the screen, sighing and putting it away.

"No," she replied, "The first thing I see when I check the news is missing and dead quirkless people."

"Aren't you guys working on the case?" Shinsou tilted his head, "why is it taking so long to get clues?"

"These guys are smart," Yoshiko muttered under her breath. "They leave no DNA behind. What we did find out is that they recruited new members who happened to be shit at the job. Toko and I caught the group, but they refused to confess. The only person who almost confessed died, so the rest have their mouths sealed."

"Fuck..."

Yoshiko put the mug on the window sill, resting her chin on her knees. She closed her eyes when a warm breeze hit her face. It was hard to believe it had almost been a year since she joined UA. She reached for her mug again, but her hand did not feel the mug. She looked at Shinsou to see him finishing the rest of her coffee and gave him a pointed look.

"Sorry, thought you didn't want it." He grinned cheekily.

"You're an ass." She huffed.

"Best ass in town."

"Yeah, flat ass." Yoshiko snorted. Shinsou rolled his eyes, giving Yoshiko the empty mug back. She gave him a glare, to which he snickered. She checked the time on her phone, wondering what Bakugo was doing. Maybe he was still sleeping since she and Shinsou kept him up online gaming. He usually got up early and went for a run with her. It was a little late for that now.

"I'm going to start getting ready," Yoshiko said.

"Ugh," Shinsou sank further in his chair, rubbing his eyes. Yoshiko chuckled and ruffled his hair before heading upstairs. Instead of going to her room, she went to one across from hers, knocking on it. She tried twisting the knob, but the door was locked. When she got no response, she whipped her phone out of her pocket and rang Bakugo's number. She could hear his default iPhone ringtone from the other side of the door. He attended after a few rings.

"What?" Came his deep and sleepy voice.

"You're running late for school, princess. Open the door."

"No. I wanna sleep."

"Open the damn door, Katsuki," Yoshiko said. Bakugo ended the call, and Yoshiko heard some shuffling. Bakugo opened the door, shirtless with a hand in his hair, as he lazily looked down at Yoshiko. She stepped inside, closing the door behind her, eyes falling on Bear asleep on Bakugo's bed. So that's where he went.

"I can't believe you were still asleep," Yoshiko said.

"Mmn, yours and Eye Bags fault," He said, pulling her into his chest, forehead on the door behind her. He closed his eyes again. Yoshiko huffed and wrapped her arms around his neck, having to go on tiptoes. The rate at which Bakugo gained more height was astonishing.

"It's so unfair I have to go ballerina mode to kiss you," She grumbled, "Stop growing."

"Not sumthin' I control," He lowered his head for her, so she could peck his lips. He grinned when she was done, tucking some hair behind her ear, "Besides, you grew too."

"Maybe a centimeter or two," Yoshiko grumbled.

"Not talking about height, but okay." He smirked, palm flush against her breast. Yoshiko's lips formed an 'O', and she rolled her eyes at him, "Aren't you an observant one? Now hurry up and get your ass ready, we have to leave in thirty minutes."

"Let's skip homeroom." Bakugo groaned, falling face first into his bed, throwing an arm around Bear, bicep flexing in the process. Yoshiko was surprised he even suggested that in the first place, given the goody-two-shoes he was, despite claiming not to be one. Maybe staying up late wasn't for him after all.

"You know we can't do that," Yoshiko sighed, opening the door, "Come on now."

"Ugh."

。⋆。˚ ʚïɞ ˚。⋆。

Yoshiko stood with her arms crossed, watching Yaoyorozu and Kendo sparing without quirks. She always loved watching these two girls going head to head because their fights were always so intense. While most cheered, there was also the argument of who would be the next Big Three, given they were all third years now. Silvery eyes drifted to the side where Monoma bragged about how he would be a part of the Big Three. He even decided Kendo would be with him in the Big Three and started yapping about how Shinsou was the only one from Class A worthy of being in the Big Three. The lavender head gave him an awkward stare and came to stand beside Yoshiko.

Yoshiko wondered who the Big Three would be this time. It was going to be decided by who won the sports festival. She couldn't help but smirk when she remembered she got first place with Bakugo last year. She'd be damned if she wasn't a part of it. She was confident she'd be a part of it.

If only she knew what was in store for her.

"Akimitsu, Monoma." Vlad King called, "You two are next."

"Heh, beat the shit out of him." Bakugo stood beside her, giving Monoma a smirk.

"Aww, don't scare him, Katsuki," Yoshiko tilted her head, giving Monoma a sweet smile, which made a shiver go down his spine.

"Hurry up, you two." Aizawa reminded.

Yoshiko hopped onto the makeshift stage Cementos had made and looked down at Monoma with a grin. The blonde clicked his tongue and made his way up the steps. He stood across from her, putting distance between them as they waited for one of the teachers to let them go at eachother.

"Start!" Vlad King exclaimed.

Before Monoma could even think of shifting a foot forward and taking a position, Yoshiko was already in his face with a fist ready. His eyes widened, and he quickly ducked low, grabbing both her legs and throwing her off balance. A painful gasp escaped Yoshiko's mouth when her back hit the concrete with a painful thud. Monoma made a move to grab her face, but Yoshiko kicked him in the chest with both her legs. She jumped up, and Monoma put distance between them again.

He was the first to dash towards her this time, lowering his upper body, leg coming up to kick the side of her head. Yoshiko blocked the kick, his shoe coming in contact with her arms held protectively beside her head instead. She was surprised by the move because the last time she spared with him, he was shit. Good to know he was improving, too.

Monoma let out a 'tsk' and swung his fist at her. Yoshiko moved to the side, his fist hitting nothing. He turned to her again, and she lunged towards him, grabbing both his shoulders and digging her knee into his stomach. Spittle escaped his mouth, and she threw a hook to his jaw, making his eyes roll upward. He stumbled back, his brain short-circuiting as he fought to stay conscious. Yoshiko twisted her upper body to the side, leg springing up to kick him in the chest again. Monoma fell back, almost rolling down the stairs, when Yoshiko grabbed his shirt to keep him from cracking his skull.

She sweatdropped when he stared at the sky with his mouth ajar. She waved a hand in front of his eyes only to get no response. The hook to his jaw had knocked him out.

"Akimitsu wins," Aizawa announced.

Yoshiko waited for Kendo to come up the steps and help her put Monoma on the stretcher the robots had bought. Mina ran up to her, pulling her in a hug, "You were so badass, babe!"

"Thanks, Meens." Yoshiko laughed. Bakugo scoffed loudly and pushed Mina's face away from Yoshiko.

"Go bother your boyfriend." Bakugo snorted.

"I already did that!" Mina exclaimed. Yoshiko heard a chuckle beside her and glanced to the side to see Kirishima watching Mina with a lovestruck expression as she bickered with Bakugo. Yoshiko nudged him with his elbow and gave him a smile, which he returned with a toothy grin.

Next up were Shinsou and Awase, so Yoshiko turned out of the chaos around her, cheering for her friend instead. Bakugo tried not to let his lips tug up on the corners as he watched her rock back and forth on her heel, "Oi."

"Yes?" She glanced up at him.

"The hag's been begging me to bring you over for dinner... d'you want to-" Before he could finish, Yoshiko gave him her answer.

"Hell to the yes," Yoshiko replied. She was never saying no to food.

"Just gonna warn you, she's gonna be really pushy with questions," Bakugo grumbled.

"It's alright," Yoshiko replied, "Your mom and I text on a daily basis. I think she's sweet."

"Huh? Why are you texting my mother?!"

"Because I need to have a Bakugo to complain to about my Bakugo," She grinned slyly.

"So you've been fuckin' snitching to my hag, huh?"

"Mhm~ Your mom really loves you, by the way," Yoshiko watched Bakugo's expression relax, "She tells me that all the time." Bakugo looked away with a soft huff. Yoshiko smiled at her boyfriend, not needing to face him to know his cheeks were pink.

。⋆。˚ ʚïɞ ˚。⋆。

Sure, Yoshiko had talked to Bakugo's mother plenty of times before, but she still felt the need to dress a teensy-weensy nicer. She wore a white cottage dress that rested just above her knees. It had loose chiffon princess sleeves Yoshiko loved. She left her hair down, putting a small white bow in the back. Bear circled her legs, wagging his tail as he looked up at her, wondering if she was going somewhere.

Yoshiko kneeled down, ruffling the fur on his neck. He sat down, making puppy eyes at her and letting out a low whine. Her heart melted as she stared down at her dog. She heard the door open and looked back to see Bakugo in his signature skull shirt. She stood up, and he took a moment to let his eyes travel on her before they came to lock with hers again. His heart hammered in his chest as she stared at her. He walked inside, slamming the door behind him.

"Jeez, just say it already." Yoshiko bought him out of his stupor.

"Lookin' pretty," He commented, noticing the bow she put in her hair. In his head, she looked like a butterfly. He felt a tug on his trousers and looked down to see Bear expectantly looking up at the both of them, "We're takin' him too."

"Are your parents okay with dogs?" Yoshiko asked, "Bear is quite big, ya know?"

"Yeah," he replied, patting Bear's head. "Don't worry about it."

She hummed, grabbing her clutch before following Bakugo, white sneakers in hand so she could wear them at the entrance. She threw the sneakers on the floor once she was in front of the door, slipping her feet inside. She was about to bend over to tie the laces when Bakugo stopped her, kneeling and doing them for her. Heat travelled up to her face as she watched him do her laces. Why was he so dreamy?

Kaminari wolf-whistled, and Kirishima screamed about how manly Bakugo was whilst wiping tears from his eyes. Bakugo stood up once he was done, flipping off his friends, before taking Bear's leash and Yoshiko's hand, pulling them both outside with him.

"Can we stop by somewhere before we head to the station?" Yoshiko asked, squeezing his hand, almost having to jog after him and Bear.

"Where?" Bakugo asked, slowing down.

"Confectionary store," Yoshiko replied.

"Look, if it's 'cause you're comin' over to my place for the first time, save it." Bakugo sighed.

"I need to get on my mother-in-law's good side, okay?"

Bakugo stopped walking, his jaw dropping. He glanced to the side, his cheeks slowly growing red. Yoshiko walked on without him as if she had not indirectly spurted out that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. It was as if his eyes saw everything brighter as she hummed to herself, walking ahead of him, her hair swaying with the breeze. He felt like such a loser just because something she'd said rendered him silent. He jogged up beside her and took her hand, ears bright pink as he intertwined his fingers with hers.

Fuck, he did want to spend the rest of his life holding her hand like this.

。⋆。˚ ʚïɞ ˚。⋆。

Bakugo groaned, running a hand down his face because, of course, Yoshiko had to buy the most unnecessarily expensive box of chocolates she laid her eyes on. He kept reminding her that she could pick something on the cheaper side, but she paid him no attention. He watched her pay with her credit card, shooting him a smile as she did, aware she was getting on his nerves.

She did not get why he was so bothered with her buying chocolates. She got her favourite ones because she was sure his parents would like them. She stepped outside the shop with Bakugo still grumbling about how she should stop going overboard when buying gifts. She opened her mouth to reply but clenched it shut, a headache piercing her brain. She put two fingers on her temple, letting out a hiss as she rubbed in circles.

"Oi, hurry-" Bakugo glanced back to see her rubbing her temple. He turned to her with concern, "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Just a headache," She replied. It luckily faded away as soon as it started.

"You wanna sit?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder. She shook her head, "Don't worry about it. It's alright now."

"Ya sure?"

"Mhm. Let's go."

"Hm." Bakugo took her hand, shooting her concerned glances now and then. She seemed to be okay now. He reminded himself to drag her to bed even if he had wrestled her to sleep. He was going to make sure she got at least eight hours.

If only he knew her headache wasn't due to the lack of sleep. It was the man in the confectionary store, also holding his head.

。⋆。˚ ʚïɞ ˚。⋆。

"Arrghh, you're finally here!" Mitsuki squealed, pulling Yoshiko in a hug. Yoshiko smiled, squeezing Mitsuki back, "Thank you so much for coming! I've been asking Katsuki for ages to bring you here, but he's so stubborn."

"I ain't stubborn!" Bakugo retorted. Bear wagged his tail and barked at Masaru, sitting on the floor and holding a paw out. Masaru kneeled in amusement, shaking the dog's paw.

"Thanks for having me," Yoshiko said when Mitsuki released her. Her eyes fell on Masaru standing a little distance behind his wife, giving Yoshiko a smile, "Hello."

"Hi," Yoshiko smiled, handing Mitsuki the pretty bag with the chocolate box inside.

"There was no need for that," Mitsuki smiled, pinching Yoshiko's cheek. Bakugo rolled her eyes, "Let her go, Ma."

Mitsuki gave Yoshiko one last squeeze before going back to the kitchen, humming to herself. She was so excited her son brought his girlfriend over. It was adorable. Bakugo roughly grabbed Yoshiko's hand, dragging her to the living room. Masaru was almost alarmed by how he manhandled her but calmed down when he saw Yoshiko let herself get dragged with a mischievous grin while she poked his sides teasingly. He couldn't help but think of how Mitsuki used to pull and drag him around everywhere just like that. Smiling to himself, he joined the teenagers in the living room.

He sat beside his son on the sofa while Yoshiko stood in front of the mantlepiece, looking at the frames resting on it. Her lips tugged up on the sides, looking at the drawing Bakugo made when he was a kid. He drew himself as a stick figure holding Mistuki's and Masaru's hand. There was also a family picture in which Bakugo, roughly seven or eight years old, glared at the camera while Mitsuki and Masaru stood behind him, smiling.

Yoshiko turned around to see Masaru and Bakugo sitting together. She invited herself to another empty sofa. Katsuki had a nice house, Yoshiko noted. It was spacious, modern and comfortable.

"So..." Masaru began, "how's school?"

"Fine," Bakugo grumbled, patting Bear's head as he sat on the floor.

"It's nice," Yoshiko said, "We're more focused on work studies now that we're in third year. Apart from that, the first semester seems to be going smooth."

"That's nice," Masaru smiled, "I hope Katsuki treats you well."

"He's a bigger softie than he lets on," Yoshiko's eyes shifted to Bakugo with a teasing glint, "He treats me like a princess."

Masaru's heart filled with warmth when he glanced at Katsuki, groaning and pulling his shirt up to his nose to hide the blush that had sprouted on his cheeks. He was glad Katsuki had found the perfect someone who understood him well. Someone so similar to him.

"Katsuki, come here and help me set the dishes on the table!" Mitsuki called from the kitchen. Bakugo sighed and got up, leaving the room, followed by Yoshiko. Bear stayed back with Masaru since he seemed to have taken a liking to the man.

Yoshiko entered the kitchen to see Mitsuki taking out plates from the cabinet. She handed some to Bakugo and looked at Yoshiko, "You don't have to help. Katsuki and I can do it."

"It's alright," Yoshiko smiled, a delicious aroma entering her senses. It made her stomach beg for food, "It'll be faster." She took the glasses from Mitsuki, following Bakugo to the dining room. She carefully set the glasses on the table while Bakugo kept the plates.

"Y'now," Yoshiko started, "You call me a spoilt brat whenever you come over to my house, but yours is almost as big as mine. Does that make you a spoilt brat too?~"

"Nope, you're still the brat." He flicked her forhead as he went back to the kitchen. Yoshiko rolled her eyes and helped Mitsuki put the food on the table. After the food and cutlery were all set on the table, everyone sat down to eat.

Mitsuki had cooked an absolute feast of roast chicken, stir-fried rice, tonkatsu, and curry. Yoshiko even noticed her favourite chicken dumplings. "I kept the spice to a minimum since Katsuki told me you don't eat much spice," Mitsuki smiled, "So you better eat to your heart's content."

"Thank you so much!" Yoshiko grinned. Katsuki took the tray with the chicken dumplings and handed it to her. Yoshiko picked up her chopsticks and put some on her plate. Mistuki got up and returned with a disposable plate with roast chicken in it for Bear.

Yoshiko felt like she was in food heaven with each bite she took. She thought Katsuki's cooking was the best thing ever until she tried Mitsuki's. The food was still a little spicy for her, but it was enjoyable. As soon as her plate was empty, Katsuki or Masaru would dump more food onto it since they were sitting close to her. She had no choice but to eat it because Mitsuki kept insisting she had more.

After eating, everyone helped bring the empty dishes to the kitchen. Mistuki shooed Yoshiko out, telling her the dishwasher would do the rest for them and yelling at Bakugo to show her around the house. She stood in the entrance to the kitchen, stifling laughter at the mother and son bickering. Masaru sighed beside her, shooting her an apologetic smile. She wondered how a cinnamon roll got stuck with two feral blondes.

Masaru and Yoshiko left Mitsuki and Katsuki to argue, going to sit in the living room instead. Masaru shuffled around, looking for something and returned to the sofa beside Yoshiko, holding a blue photo album with 'Katsuki Memory' written on the front. Just under the letters was a picture of a grenade, "I think you might want to see this while he's still not here."

Yoshiko took the album, fingers brushing the letters. She opened it, greeted by a picture of newborn Katsuki in Mitsuki's arms, with Masaru bawling his eyes out. Yoshiko bit her tongue to keep herself from laughing at the sight of baby Katsuki. Even though he was a newborn, he looked like an old man. No one would have guessed the sinfully handsome Bakugo Katsuki was an ugly baby. Maybe the saying ugly babies grow up to be the prettiest was true.

She pulled out her phone, glancing at Masaru, "Can I take a picture?"

"Feel free," he smiled.

Yoshiko clicked a picture to use it against him sometime in the future. She turned the phone off and flipped to the next page, where Katsuki was a toddler with rattles and All Might toys around him. He was on all fours, crawling over to something. He was so cute in the picture, with his chubby cheeks puffed out and a line of drool running down his chin.

"He's so cute here," Yoshiko gushed, making Masaru laugh.

She flipped through more pictures with a goofy smile plastered on her face. He was adorable with every passing picture. There were his middle school pictures, too, where his eyes seemed to be dead set on murdering whoever was taking his picture. The most recent one was from the sports festival in their second year. Mistuki hadn't cut off Yoshiko's picture beside him in this one.

"Mistuki insisted she didn't want to cut you out of the picture," Masaru scratched his head shyly.

"That's so sweet," Yoshiko smiled at the picture. She was giving him a weird look in it. Thinking back, she had no feelings for him at that time. Roughly a year later, here she was, dating him. She closed the album, her heart racing with cuteness overload.

Just as she closed it, Bakugo stomped into the living room, noticing the photo album in her lap, "Oi, don't look inside!"

"She won't." Masaru took the album, giving Yoshiko a knowing smile.

Bakugo came up to her, grabbing her arm, muttering about how the 'old man and hag' got on his nerves all the time. He pulled her upstairs with Bear, going to the end of the hallway and throwing a door open. He pushed her inside and left, closing the door and telling her he'd be back in a few minutes.

Yoshiko stood in his room, looking around curiously. It was almost like his room back at the dorms, but you could catch more of what Katsuki liked here. She noticed an All Might plushie on the bed, her mouth opening in surprise. Never in her life did she think Bakugo would buy a plushie. She went to the bed, taking the plushie. She could tell it was ancient, with ballpoint scribbles and visible stitches that had been put on it. She pulled it to her chest and sat on the mattress, eyes examining the room.

She smirked at the collection of All Might figures on a shelf. He's such a fanboy, she thought. She even noticed a Mirko figure. She fell back on the bed, holding the All Might plushie up. She heard the door open and glanced at it to see Katsuki enter.

"Had to use the bathroom," he said, closing the door. Yoshiko hummed in response from her position on the bed, hugging the plushie.

"It's alright," she said, "I got to see how much of an All Might and Mirko fanboy you are."

His cheeks dusted pink, and he rolled his eyes, putting his hands in his pockets. His heart warmed when she laughed at his reaction. He found it cute how she lay in the bed, her hair spread out under her, holding the plushie against her chest. He let out a 'tsk' and went to the bed, snatching the plushie and throwing it at the door, taking her by surprise.

His knees dug into the mattress, her body in between his legs. He grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her with all his vigour, "You need to stop bein' such a monstrously beautiful fuck. Yer gonna send me to an early grave, you adorable little shit," Yoshiko squealed when he bit her cheek gently.

He fell on the bed beside her, cupping her cheek, making her face him, looking into her moon-like eyes. He put some hair behind her ear, fingertips brushing her piercings. He noticed how she never took off the piercings on this ear.

"Why do you have so many piercings?" He questioned.

"I love earrings," she replied, running a finger on the earrings, "Also, the earrings in this ear are from people precious to me."

Bakugo raised an eyebrow in question. She touched the earring with a thin gold chain that went in three holes, "This one has three chains. I got this from my family on my twelfth birthday. Dad was obviously not there at the time, but Mum told me he was the one who bought it when I was born. I got this ear pierced three times just for this. The first chain is Dad, the second is Mom, and the one with the moon is Daisuke," her finger moved up to a small purple rhombus, "This one's from Hitoshi. The rest are there just 'cause I like them."

He stared at her earrings, tracing the shell of her ear. He wanted to buy her a small red earring now. He took her hand, looking at the ring he got her on her birthday last year, "Does it hurt? When you're getting a piercing, I mean."

"The ones on your your lobe don't. A helix doesn't hurt either, but piercings like a taurus or an industrial do."

"You have an industrial," Bakugo said, looking at the silver rod on her upper ear.

"Mhm, I love it."

"I wanna get a piercing," he admitted after a few moments of silence.

"You do?" Yoshiko propped up on an elbow, looking down at him.

"Yeah... been considerin' it."

Yoshiko smiled at him, kissing the tip of his nose, "I think piercings will suit you."

"F'course they will," He put a hand behind her head, pulling her in for a kiss. She threw a leg over his torso, her hair falling to the sides, blocking the light. His hand travelled up her spine, stopping behind her neck to deepen the kiss. She pulled away breathlessly to see Bakugo's eyes flutter open slowly. She pushed the hair on his forhead back, brushing her lips against his skin. She smiled and got off him, fixing her hair, "Come on, I wanna see Mitsuki again before we leave."

"Yeah," he breathed, watching her fix her hair in the mirror. His head felt light as he stood up, his heart beating fast. Only she could manage to make him feel like this- like he was high on drugs.
