I arrived at his house 4:54pm and knocked on the door but no one answered.
"Hey!" Someone shouted but I didn't know if it was me that they were calling so I didn't look back. "You standing on the porch!" The person shouted as I turned around.
No one was there besides a ginger-haired girl standing in front of a house across the street.
I pointed at myself if it was me that she was calling.
"Yes you". She said as I walked to her. "You must be Arion, hi I'm Veronica". She said stretching her hand to me.
Oh this must be the girl that Sarah was talking about the other day
"Oh hi, I have been told about you". I said awkwardly
"So, you must be a friend of Blue and Sarah".
"Yeah, i am". I said then remembered I have a deadline. "Sorry, it was nice to meet you but Blue is waiting for me and I wanna fix something that I did so, I'll see you around". I said and went back to the porch and knocked and this time, Mason opened the door as I realized that he was sleeping.
"Hey Arion". He said with his sleepy eyes.
"Hey I came to see Blue, is he home?" I asked him.
"Um I have been asleep for the past 3 hours as you can see". He said pointing the sleep marks on his face. "So I really don't know".
"Okay dude no need to be rude, I'll just go check and not disturb you again so prince charming can kiss you this time". I jokingly said as he gave me a finger and I bent it as he shouted and I let to of him and entered the house.
"Where is everyone?" I asked him as he closed the door.
"They're all asleep, we had family game night and we are all exhausted, even after we came back from school". He said carrying the orange juice on the stool next to the couch.
"Okay, I'll go check if Blue is inside". I said going upstairs.
"Hey, wait!" He shouted as I turned my head to him. "Blue has been in a bad mood this past few days, so don't make it worse". He stated.
"What do you mean don't make it worse?" I asked sounding a bit oblivious, I had a feeling that I am the one who put Blue in his bad mood.
"You are one of the reasons why he is like that". He sipped his orange juice.
And I was right, shit I hope I don't make things worse.
"Okay, I won't make things worse, in fact I am here to fix things".
"Okay, whatever". He rolled his eyes and I continued my journey to his room.
I knocked on his door.
"Come in". I heard a voice inside the room.
He is at home
I opened the door and walked in as I saw him sitting outside on the balcony, he was shirtless, I almost felt horny then I remembered that I came here to set things to the way they were.
"Hey, dude". I saidaud sitting on the chair across him. He didn't say anything but stare at the neighbourhood. I wanted to say something to break the silence but I couldn't produce words at this point.
Normally, I start the conversation but as I stare at Blue like this, I felt so shallow and mini.
Of cus I have a bod, but Blue have a body, if I were to fight with him, I don't know who would win. But he will definitely win for sure.
Wait why am I even saying all this? I should be thinking of what to say to him and how I will say them.
"So um" I said cutting through the silence as he turned his attention to me and I suddenly became nervous, but I had to gather confidence.
"I know I made you upset on Sunday and I don't know why I did". I said calmly eating the banana from the table in front of me.
"Of you don't". He said chuckling.
"No seriously I don't, Blue I don't like to lie to you and I can't because you know when I lie". I simply said. "When you dared me to tell you I had to b cause if I didn't, it would be goddamn weird that you did yours and I didn't do-"
"Arion stop blabbering". He cut me off before I could even finish. "I am done with this bullshit okay, I don't have the energy to be angry or mad or some shit, you like? No problem!" He stated leaning towards me even though the table was in-between us.
"What?" I asked.
"I can't be with you and being very close to me, you should know that".
"I know, you hate love but why can't you be with me?" I asked leaning towards him.
"You just said it, I hate love, it does not amaze me it isn't something that I want to have and want to feel, it isn't just for me Ari". He said running his fingers through his long hair.
"But I told you that I like you! Does that mean anything to you?" I said as I felt hot and warm.
He didn't say anything but just stare at me.
"I'm sorry that I can't love you, I was made like that and I'm happy with it, you will meet someone that you'll love will love you back that would care and always be there for you-"
"Yeah and that person is you Blue! You do all those things m so what's the difference is it is with someone else?"
"That person will love you" he added. "I won't". He said as my heart dropped.
I almost cried to the fact that my crush does not like me back.
That he does not like me back.
It hurts
"Okay". I said with my shaky voice.
"Hey come here" he said and got up walking past the table and came to me, dragged me up and gave me a hug as his thick and big hands wrapped around me and I felt his chest and abs press against mine, I couldn't lift my hands to hug him back because I was literally going through pain right now.
I just pressed my face to his neck and just tried to enjoy his embrace. "You don't have to hug me back, it's okay". He pulled from his hug and looked at me. "I love you but as a friend and that's all I can ever be so don't be sad". He said as I nodded to what he said and I looked at the ground.
"Okay" was all I said.
"Wanna spend the night here?" He asked as I shit my eyes to him again.
"Really?"
"Yeah, you need to be comforted right now".
"Comforted by you?"
"Um yeah, even if I am the own who made you like this, I will always be there for you Ari". I smiled but my heart is injured.
"Okay yeah sure". I agreed to his request.
At least I still get to be closer to him.
"Great, okay just make yourself at home I'll be back I need to go do something downstairs, I'll be back after a short while". He said putting on his top and walked to the door but stopped and hesitated and I knitted my brows wondering why.
Then he walked back to me and did the unthinkable.
He cupped my cheeks closed his eyes, leaned in and kissed me again, not on my forehead, not on my cheek but on my lips. I totally felt like dying as I was stiff and couldn't move.
Why is he kissing me?
Is it pity? Is it because I am hurt and he is giving me what I want
Just why the hell is he kissing me?
Why does he have to make me feel this way?
I felt my face heat up as he pulled away and I was left with shock on my face.
"I jus gave you a best friend kiss, your the first to have that". He said as I felt my face turn hotter. "Don't think about it okay, I just want us to stay friends and after saying that, maybe I shouldn't have kiss you but anyways, what is done has been done". He said staring deep into my soul and I'm sure he saw my past lives.
He ruffled my hair, smiled and walked to the door opening it, leaving the room and closing the door.

Okay I think it's better for him to kiss me even though we are not together.
Well I'm glad that I am the first to receive his bestfriend kiss

I sighed took off my shoes and lied on his bed tiredly as the kiss kept on replaying in my head.
