Nothing happened today, so it'll be a lesson day. This is one I'm very excited about, as it's something I'm very passionate about. It mixes my love of fashion with my hypegirl lifestyle. Today, we're talking dressing for romance.
So, what is dressing for romance? Well, dressing for romance is when you mix your personal style with romantic colors, patterns, textures, ect. You can do it pretty much regardless of your style/aesthetic and I love doing this every so often.
My personal style is very eclectic, with lots of bright colors, experimental silhouettes, and mixes of masculine, feminine, and androgynous elements.
Examples of my style inspo:
When I dress for romance, I include lots of red and pink, lots of romantic designs like hearts, and lots of romantic textures like lace, velvet, and corduroy.
Romance dressing inspo:
Romantic influences can be incorporated into so many different aesthetics. From downtown girl, to preppy, to y2k, and so many more. This is one of the biggest things you can do as a hypegirl to just have fun. If any of you decide to become a hypegirl, I'd absolutely recommend the occasional romance dressing to you. Finding ways to include those influences in my own style is very exciting.
